After the conquest, the King gave them the status of independent kingdoms of whom he was also the king (but they were independent of Aragonese laws and institutions). The arms of Valencia show those of James I. The unique crowned letters "L" besides the shield were granted by King Peter the Ceremonious.

Jaume March (1334/1335–1410) was a Catalan language poet. Brother of Pere March and uncle of Arnau March and the renowned Ausiàs March, Jaume's family had been lawyers and officers of the court of the king of Aragon. Born in Valencia he was seemingly the eldest son, and inherited the family's possessions around Barcelona. He was knighted by King Peter the Ceremonious and in 1393 was charged with the direction of a poetical institute—the Consistory of Barcelona—founded by King John.

From the Treaty of Corbeil in 1258, the new rulers of Roussillon (the kings of Aragon and Majorca), built a castle which fell into the defense of the northern border of the region. It completed the line composed of the Château de Salses and Opoul among others. This castle was nicknamed "the Royal Castle", which the Catalans translated as "Força Real". The estate was occupied in 1343 by King Pedro IV of Aragon the Ceremonious, which ended the kingdom of Mallorca.

After ascending to the English throne in 1603 James stopped the General Assembly from meeting, increased the number of Scottish bishops and in 1618 held a General Assembly in Perth; this gathering adopted Five Articles of Episcopalian practices. Ancient Chinese Scrolls were an important part of the Silk Road as there were influences from one period to the next; from the Neolithic period to the Han dynasty to the Tsang dynasty. Handscrolls and hanging scrolls on silk were most popular during the Tsang dynasty in China. The handscroll was used more like a book than a painting, as they were a religious and almost ceremonious experience. Handscrolls were carefully unbound and analyzed slowly as this was not a regular or daily exercise.

It is renowned for its series of buah (combat strategy) which have been influential in the development of more recent silat styles in Malay peninsula, including seni gayung. Unlike most of styles of Silat, Silat Cekak is known for its non-ceremonious nature with no emphasis in graceful dance- like movements. It is a defensive-type of Silat that applies 99% defending techniques and only 1% attacking techniques. Students are nominated for awards through a form posted on the school bulletin or by heads of departments directly. The Speech Day Committee then is given the yearly responsibility of selecting the students who they feel deserve a prize; the committee itself is compromised of a teacher supervisor as well as appointed students that vote on who should receive the prizes. The theme of ball de diables is a theatrical representation of the struggle between the good and the evil. So Sri Trailokyabhushana founded Sri Koodli Arya Akshobhya Tirtha Matha at Koodli.

The Halsey Institute produced multiple exhibition videos, which included interviews with Japanese art curators who discussed Yamamoto's work and gave the audience a glimpse into Yamamoto's studio, "providing insight into his creative process." The Halsey Institute published a color catalogue documenting the artist's saltworks around the world, made over the course fourteen years. The catalogue includes essays by Mark Sloan, director and senior curator of the Halsey Institute, and Mark Kurlansky, author of the New York Times best seller Salt: A World History. Upon the closing of the exhibition, the Halsey invited hundreds of people from the community to take part in a ceremonious disassembling of the primary installation.

They carry a variety of banners, scrolls and parchments, which contains texts that while illegible, can be recognised as mostly written in Hebrew, with some lettering that is almost nonsensical. Modern-day researchers have found many clues linking its completion to the king himself. The seven paintings drawn by the Canterbury masters and painted by Ferrer Bassa a century later are the result of a truly unique combination of the Anglo-Byzantine culture close to the 1200 and the pictorial forms of the 1300 Italianate Gothic. They constitute a remarkable fusion of cultures, a hybrid art in which no boundaries of space, time or culture exist.

The Drottningholm Music (Swedish: Drottningholmsmusiken) is the popular name of the music that was composed by Johan Helmich Roman and first performed at Drottningholm Palace at Lovön near Stockholm on 18 August 1744 at the wedding of Crown Prince Adolf Frederick and Princess Louisa Ulrika of Prussia. The music was composed especially for the royal wedding, and consists of 33 movements. The movements are very different from each other; there is music both for ceremonious entries and for dance, for example minuets. The wedding was celebrated in three days, under which the royal orchestra, directed by Roman, is believed to have been strengthened by the orchestra that Adolf Frederick had brought from Germany.

Jaume Cascalls is one of the most important sculptors of the fourteenth century in Catalonia. This is borne out by his involvement over almost thirty years with the project of the royal pantheon in Poblet for King Peter the Ceremonious and with other large undertakings of the time. Today, on stylistic grounds, he is credited with this 'Head of Christ', which must have formed part of a sculptural group of the Holy Sepulchre, presumably from the church of the convent of Sant Agustí Vell in Barcelona. The break in the neck suggests it belonged to a full-length recumbent Christ, like the one kept at Sant Feliu in Girona and also attributed to Cascalls.

Most Aljaferiá was completed by Abu Jaffar Al-Muqtadir during the Banu Hud reign in the taifa of Zaragoza, in the 11th century. After the reconquest of Zaragoza in 1118 by Alfonso of Aragon "the Battler", the Aljafería became the residence of the Christian kings of Aragon, becoming the main focus of the Aragonese Mudejar diffusion. It was used as a royal residence by Peter IV of Aragon "the Ceremonious" and later, on the main floor, was carried out the reform that turned these paradors into the palace of the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. In 1593 it underwent another reform that would make it into a military fortress, first according to Renaissance designs (which today can be seen in their surroundings, pit and gardens) and later as a quarters of military regiments.

Ararat, established as a city of refuge for the Jewish nation, was founded in 1825 by New York politician and playwright Mordecai Manuel Noah, who purchased most of Grand Island, a island near Buffalo, New York. It is no longer a "Jewish city." Noah led a ceremonious procession to the site and laid a markstone with the sayings in Hebrew and English: :"Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; Ararat, A City of Refuge for the Jews, Founded by Mordecai Manuel Noah, in the Month Tishrei, September 1825 and in the 50th year of American Independence." The idea did not attract many followers and Mordecai Noah started to advocate the creation of a Jewish state in the Land of Israel, then a part of the Ottoman Empire.

John I also enlarged it so as Alfonso the Magnanimous, who, during the few years he resided in Valencia before conquering Naples, consolidated it as a royal residence and made considerable expenses to turned it into one of the best regal palaces in the Crown of Aragon. Pedro the Ceremonious gave Barcelona its Consulate of the Sea saying he would be in the same form as that of Mallorca, "sub ea scilicet forma qua concessum est civitati Maioricarum". The Cult of Reason was celebrated in a carnival atmosphere of parades, ransacking of churches, ceremonious iconoclasm, in which religious and royal images were defaced, and ceremonies which substituted the "martyrs of the Revolution" for Christian martyrs. The earliest public demonstrations took place en province, outside Paris, notably by Hébertists in Lyon, but took a further radical turn with the Fête de la Liberté ("Festival of Liberty") at Notre Dame de Paris, 10 November (20 Brumaire) 1793, in ceremonies devised and organised by Pierre-Gaspard Chaumette. The pamphlet Answer to Dr. Priestley's Letters to a Philosophical Unbeliever (1782) is considered to be the first published declaration of atheism in Britain—plausibly the first in English (as distinct from covert or cryptically atheist works). In spite of his ceremonious installation as Duke of Brabant and Count of Flanders, Anjou was not popular with the Flemish and Dutch Protestants, who continued to see the Catholic French as enemies; the provinces of Zeeland and Holland refused to recognise him as their sovereign, and William of Orange, the central figure of the Politiques who worked to defuse religious hostilities, was widely criticized for his "French politics". When Anjou's army of 12,000 infantry and 5,000 cavalry arrived in late 1582, William's plan seemed to pay off, as even Don Alexander Farnese feared that a strong alliance between the Dutch and French could pose a serious threat, but in fact, Anjou had very little influence in the Netherlands, and he himself was not satisfied with the restrictions of the treaty and wanted more power.

The French Revolution marked a turning point for the ascendancy of atheism to a preeminent position as a cognitive and cultural stance against papal supremacy and the Holy Roman Empire across Europe and throughout the world. Now known as the atheist Cult of Reason ideology, established by Jacques Hébert, Pierre Gaspard Chaumette and their supporters and intended as a replacement for Christianity, and was replete with ceremonious destruction of Christian relics, conversion of churches into Temples of Reason and the personification of Reason as a goddess; it also held such festivities as the Festival of Reason (or Festival of Liberty), dated on 10 November (20 Brumaire) 1793. The Cult of Reason, which strongly advocated the destruction of Christian and theistic cultural influences by force, was opposed to Robespierre's Cult of the Supreme Being, which was considered a deistic cult which referred back to the theism of Christianity. The Cult of Reason was finally ended by Robespierre and the Committee of Public Safety through their execution of Hébert and several of his followers on 24 March 1794, having ascended just seven months earlier.

In 1935 he returned to India via ocean liner, along with two of his western students, to visit his guru Sri Yukteswar Giri and to help establish his Yogoda Satsanga work in India. While en route, his ship detoured in Europe and the Middle East; he undertook visits to other living western saints like Therese Neumann, the Catholic Stigmatist of Konnersreuth, and places of spiritual significance: Assisi, Italy to honor St. Francis, the Athenian temples of Greece and prison cell of Socrates, the Holy Land of Palestine and the regions of the Ministry of Jesus, and Cairo, Egypt to view the ancient Pyramids. In August 1935, he arrived in India at the port of Mumbai; due to his fame in America, he was met with many photographers and journalists during his short stay at the Taj Mahal Hotel. Upon taking a train eastward and reaching the Howrah Station near Kolkata, he was met with a huge crowd and a ceremonious procession led by his brother, Bishnu Charan Ghosh, and the Maharaja of Kasimbazar.

The Petition was careful not to challenge the royal supremacy in the Church of England, and called for a number of church reforms to remove ceremonies perceived as popish: The Millenary Petition was presented to James in Leicester so he couldn't discuss the terms with the Bishops. # The use of the sign of the cross in baptism (which Puritans saw as superstitious); # The rite of confirmation (which Puritans criticized because it was not found in the Bible); # The performance of baptism by midwives (which Puritans argued was based on a superstitious belief that infants who died without being baptized could not go to heaven); # The exchanging of rings during the marriage ceremony (again seen as unscriptural and superstitious); # The ceremonious bowing at the Name of Jesus during worship (again seen as superstitious); # The requirement that clergy wear surplice as it wasn't mentioned in the Bible; and # The custom of clergy living in the church building. The Petition argued that a preaching minister should be appointed to every parish (instead of one who simply read the service from the Book of Common Prayer).

Prior to the proclamation of an independent Ukrainian state in 1991, parallel to his professional career, Mykola Plaviuk held prominent positions in Ukrainian diaspora community/political institutions: President of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada (1956–66); Vice-President of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (1966–71); senior Plast Ukrainian scout leader; initiator and chief organizer responsible for the establishment in 1967 of the World Congress of Free Ukrainians (WCFU) in New York; Secretary General of the WCFU (1973–76); 1st Vice-President of the WCFU (1976–78); President of the WCFU (1978–80); elected Leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists in 1979; in June 1988 elected Vice-President of the Ukrainian National Republic (UNR) in Exile. After death of incumbent President Mykola Livytskyi, Plaviuk became his successor, serving from December 8, 1989 to 1992. During a ceremonious session of the Verkhovna Rada on August 22, 1992 in Kyiv, Mykola Plaviuk formally ceded his authority and the activity of the UNR to the first President of independent Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, who was elected in 1991.

This magnificent church contained the tombs of some prominent figures, since there rested the generous founder of the building, the infante Peter of Aragon, who was son of King Peter III of Aragon "The Great" and brother of king James II of Aragon "The Just", having died prematurely in 1296 in Castilian lands while fighting in favor of the infantes of la Cerda. Was also buried in the church of the convent Queen Teresa d'Entença, which was the first wife of the king Alfonso IV of Aragon "The Nice" and the mother of Peter IV of Aragon "The Ceremonious", resting besides along said queen her children Isabel and Sancho, who died in infancy. This queen died in 1327 while giving birth to her son Sancho, and was buried a side of the chancel and in a mausoleum of marble supported by six lions with her effigy in dress of religious and with figures crying around the tomb. And the tombs of her sons were painted on wood, being the infanta Isabel dressed of clare and the infante Sancho with a garland and the hair loosed.
