Although the arrival of Ultraman Dyna and ZAP Spacy managed to get Rei back to his senses, an exhausted Seven made a final attempt by throwing his Eye Slugger as a distress call before collapsing to his injuries. The Eye Slugger arrived when Zero's training was completed and had his relation to Ultraseven undisclosed. This reveal prompted him to race towards the Monster Graveyard, but he was too late, as his father died in his arms before he helped the resistance win against Belial's army. After the battle, the Plasma Spark was returned to its position and unfroze the Land of Light and its residents.

In the fictional continuity of Macross Claudia LaSalle is an American U.N. Spacy bridge officer in charge of weaponry and navigation of the SDF-1 Macross space fortress. She and fellow bridge officer Misa Hayase are close friends, and she is often there to give her friend advice on matters of the heart (especially when it comes to Misa's confused feelings for Hikaru Ichijyo), something Hayase is awkward in. She used to be in a close relationship with Roy Focker until his death.

After defecting to the Macross and marrying Max, Milia was allowed to become a member of the UN Spacy in her own right and piloted a red-painted VF-1J Valkyrie fighter into battle thereafter as her husband's wingmate. However, caring for her own people, she convinced Max and the other pilots to capture, rather than kill, their Zentradi opponents. The choice of Quamzin was a particularly unsettling one for Vrlitwhai's archivist Exsedol Folmo who believed Quamzin to be irrational, selfish, violent and as dangerous to his own side as to the enemy. This perception was reinforced when, while recklessly coming out of spacefold right into the main fleet, Quamzin's ships collided with some of Vrlitwhai's force — and that Quamzin and his men had placed bets on how many ships they'd hit. He was immediately dispatched to Mars in a plot to disable the Macross while she was landed and taking supplies from an abandoned U.N. Spacy base on the planet. The plan failed.

Teki Paki is a 1991 puzzle arcade video game developed by Toaplan and published in Japan by Tecmo, Hong Kong by Honest Trading Co. and Taiwan by Spacy Co. Ltd . It is notable for being one of the few titles by Toaplan that has not received any official port to home consoles as of date. In Teki Paki, players compete for the highest score by stacking block pieces and making them disappear with a chain reaction by connecting them together. Home console conversions of the game, as well as a sequel for arcades were planned and under development, however neither project were ultimately released to the public for unknown reasons.

Uemura stated that the project was made "as a puzzle game with the intensity of shooting games". Yuge stated that Tomoaki Takanohashi was originally recruited for sound design but he was initially instructed with learning about programming and although Takanohashi disliked this part of his assignment, he served as one of the project's programmers. Takanohashi was also responsible for writing the soundtrack and after listening to his work, Yuge realized that his talents would diminish if he continued programming and the company let Takanohashi focus on the sound instead later during development. Teki Paki was released in arcades worldwide on April 1991 by Tecmo, Honest Trading Co. and Spacy Co. Ltd.

"Look at Me Now" is a song by American recording artist Chris Brown, featuring fellow American rappers Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne, released as the second single from Brown's fourth studio album F.A.M.E. on February 1, 2011. "No Equal" is the second single by East Coast hip hop group The Beatnuts. It was released by Relativity Records as a single before being placed on The Beatnuts' debut EP Intoxicated Demons: The EP. The song is produced by The Beatnuts and features raps by Juju, Psycho Les and Fashion. It contains a spacy beat that features a prominent xylophone and brass section sampled from "Ain't No Sunshine" by Willis Jackson, "The Confined Few" by Irvin Booker & Booker Little and "Ain't No Sunshine" by Harlem Underground Band. It additionally samples Q-Tip's vocals from "Jazz (We've Got)" by A Tribe Called Quest and Rakim's vocals from "My Melody" by Eric B. & Rakim.

Weep is an American rock band from New York City whose music combines elements of ethereal wave, gothic rock, shoegaze, post-punk and synthpop. Formed in 2008 by singer and guitarist Eric "Doc" Hammer (formerly of Requiem in White and Mors Syphilitica, and writer and voice actor for the animated television series The Venture Bros.), the band's lineup also includes bass guitarist Fred Macaraeg, keyboardist Alex Dziena and drummer Bill Kovalcik. Their debut EP, Never Ever, was released in 2008 by Hammer's Astro-Base Go company and Projekt Records, followed by the full-length albums Worn Thin (2010), Alate (2012) and Weep (2014). Weep's music has been described as dark and expansive, with "shimmering guitars and spacy synthesizers".

Los Angeles Times critic Robert Hilburn shared a similar sentiment and stated: "For 12 minutes, this is Bowie's most striking and satisfying album since Ziggy. But the remaining 26 minutes, including all of Side 2, deal with a spacy art rock style that is simply beyond mass pop sensibilities for it to build much enthusiasm." By contrast, NME found Low "stunningly beautiful [...] the sound of Sinatra reproduced by Martian computers". Billboard called the album's second side "the most adventurous and a stark contrast to the few distorted hard rock cuts on side one" and wrote that Low "emphasizes Bowie's serious writing efforts which only time can tell will appeal to the people who have watched him go through various musical phases".

Weep's music combines elements of ethereal wave, shoegaze, synthpop, gothic rock, post-punk, indie rock and new wave. Gregory Heaney of AllMusic described their sound as "dark and expansive, envelop[ing] the listener in a warm blanket of shimmering guitars and spacy synthesizers, setting them adrift while still maintaining enough drive to feel like substantial rock songs". Hammer's singing is noted for being gravelly and robotic but also relaxing and wistful, providing a counterpoint to the lush song arrangements. The band has drawn comparisons to Echo & the Bunnymen, Kitchens of Distinction, Interpol, Siouxsie and the Banshees, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Air, My Bloody Valentine, the Sisters of Mercy, Cocteau Twins, the Cure, Modern English, the Psychedelic Furs, New Order, the Comsat Angels and Placebo.

Pegg considered the album's theme to be a clash of "occultism and Christianity". Writer David Sheppard described the music of Station to Station as "glacial, synthesized funk-rock." AllMusic's Stephen Thomas Erlewine wrote that, "at its heart, Station to Station is an avant-garde art-rock album", which includes "everything from epic ballads and disco to synthesized avant pop" while extending "the detached plastic soul of Young Americans to an elegant, robotic extreme." According to Robert Christgau, Bowie's experimentation with African- American music styles had matured by the time Station to Station was recorded, as the record appropriated them "in a decidedly spacy and abrasive context"; he said it added soul to the "mechanical, fragmented, rather secondhand elegance" explored on Aladdin Sane.

As the album's title implies, the tracks touch upon various sexually-related topics, including sadism and masochism ("Rough Sex"), breast size ("I Must Increase My Bust"), sex with aliens ("Spacy Bitch") and oral and anal sex ("I Sit on Acid", whose entire lyrical content consists of the chant "I wanna sit on your face"). "The Most Wonderful Girl", an ode to self-love and masturbation, also appeared on the soundtrack to the film Sliver. The track "Hey Ho!" originally contained a sample of "Heigh-Ho" from the 1937 Walt Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, however this sample was removed when the track appeared on this album most likely due to copyright issues. The song "Let's Get High" features samples from Bill Cosby: Himself.

The event caused a wider rift between him and the U.N., leading to the temporary exile of the Macross from Earth. Eventually, when Milia Fallyna of the Lap Lamiz fleet defected to the Macross and wished to marry Maximilian Jenius, Global gave them permission, and by doing so made the first true step toward peace with the Zentradi. After Space War I, he took an administrative position in the U.N. Government and designed the Human Emigration Project, a space colonization scheme followed by the U.N. for the following years to ensure the survival of mankind and its culture in case of further appearances of Zentradi and Supervision Army fleets. In the Macross continuity he became an admiral as well as commander of the U.N. Spacy after the battle against Boddole Zer.

1983, October 10. Unlike all later VF vehicles, the VF-X was strictly a jet aircraft, built to demonstrate that a jet fighter with the features necessary to convert to Battroid mode was aerodynamically feasible. After the VF-X's testing was finished, an advanced concept atmospheric-only prototype, the VF-0 Phoenix, was flight-tested from 2005 to 2007 and briefly served as an active- duty fighter from 2007 to the VF-1's rollout in late 2008, while the bugs were being worked out of the full-up VF-1 prototype (VF-X-1). The VF-1's combat debut was on February 7, 2009, during the Battle of South Ataria Island - the first battle of Space War I, and was the mainstay fighter of the U.N. Spacy for the entire conflict.

Chief Millard Johnson is in charge of Project Super Nova, a UN Spacy program deployed to determine the next generation of Variable fighter. Chief Millard is most often found in the anime trying to control the feud between Guld Goa Bowman and Isamu Alva Dyson, many times counseling Isamu with words of wisdom that mostly infuriate the young pilot. In Macross Plus the Movie, after Isamu stole the YF-19 to interfere with the introduction of Ghost X-9 UCAV and Guld was sent in the YF-21 after the runaway VF, Millard commented that he used to steal planes as well and decided to cover up for the two of them just like his then-superiors did for him. Whether he stole planes as a covert job or simply as an act of misconduct remains unexplained.

The Allmusic site awarded the album 3 stars stating "Parts of the second solo album by Prestige Records' house drummer, Idris Muhammad, are an even poppier affair than Black Rhythm Revolution, with a mellow soul-jazz feel replacing the slight Latin tinge of the earlier album... "The Peace and Rhythm Suite" is a side-long suite consisting of two long, spacy compositions that predate the ambient house scene by nearly two decades yet sound entirely of a piece with that style. Long, droning, sustained chords on a variety of wind and reed instruments float above Muhammad's percussion, which ebbs and flows in a free, almost arrhythmic way through most of the piece. Puzzle People is the eleventh studio album released by American soul quintet The Temptations for the Gordy (Motown) label in 1969. Produced entirely by Norman Whitfield, Puzzle People takes the next step along the path that Cloud Nine started, and takes the Temptations further away from a classic soul sound, and more towards the realm of psychedelic soul. Although a few ballads, including "Running Away (Ain't Gonna Help You)", are still present, the album is primarily composed of Sly & the Family Stone/James Brown-derived proto-funk tracks such as the lead single "Don't Let the Joneses Get You Down", and the number-one Billboard Pop hit "I Can't Get Next to You". Also included are psychedelic-styled covers (recorded with distorted guitars, clavinets, and spacy reverb and sound effects) of contemporary songs such as The Isley Brothers' "It's Your Thing", The Beatles' "Hey Jude", and Roger Miller's "Little Green Apples".

Space folding permits nearly-instantaneous ultra-long distance travel: a space-fold transports a spacecraft in a very short amount of time by first swapping the location of the spacecraft with super dimension space or subspace, and then swapping the Super Dimension space with the space at the destination. According to U.N. Spacy First Lieutenant Hayase Misa during Space War I (2009–2012) an hour passes in super dimension space as approximately ten days passes in normal space. One of the latest Macross TV series, Macross Frontier, further expands on that concept by introducing fold faults or dislocations, which further retard fold travel and interfere with fold communications. Also explained in Macross Frontier are the limitations of space folding, such as the geometric increase in energy requirement with the mass of the object to be folded, which prevents very large objects from being folded with ease across vast distances.

Orblivion is the fourth studio album by English electronic music group The Orb, released on 24 February 1997 by Island Records. With the album, the group, reunited with Andy Hughes and Steve Hillage, returned to their spacy sounds typical of U.F.Orb (1992). Though Orblivion was recorded in May 1996, it was not released until almost a year later, due to Island Records' desire to promote it as a follow-up to U2's Pop. Orblivion sold well in Europe and the United States, reaching number nineteen on the UK Albums Chart and number 174 on the US Billboard 200, while its lead single "Toxygene" became the highest-charting single by The Orb, reaching number four in the UK. However, the album received a lukewarm reception from the British music press, but similarly to the case of Orbus Terrarum, it received better praise from American critics, with Rolling Stone calling it a "scintillating contrast of chaos and euphony".
