Players take turns to throw a coin at a wall, from some distance away, and the coin which lands closest to the wall is the winner. The history of the game is ancient, and it is known to have been played by Ancient Greek children using bronze coins. In modern Israel the game is also played with Apricot kernels, and is called "Gogoim".

He later studied under Nippy Noya, from Amsterdam, and Karl Potter (USA), and participated in a masterclass with Billy Cobham, in Germany. In 1990, he travelled for the first time to Havana, Cuba, and attended the Ignacio Cervantes music school. In 1994, he played a concert in the Netherlands with Dutch percussionist Martin Verdonk, and Armando Peraza (from Carlos Santana's Band).

There was some competition in their operating area with First Somerset & Avon and South West Coaches. In most villages Nippy Bus were the sole bus operator and therefore many communities were heavily reliant on their services. Wilson became an apprentice railwayman upon leaving school, but was spotted by a scout playing amateur football at Huddersfield Town. He began a combination of working on the tracks by night and training with Huddersfield by day, before being called up for national service. Bell was born in Edinburgh and after junior football with Roseberry and St Bernard's, he joined Heart of Midlothian in April 1900. In his first season with Hearts, he was joint top scorer (with Bill Porteous) with eight goals and was a member of the team that won the Scottish Cup, defeating Division One runners-up Celtic 4–3. He earned his solitary cap for Scotland in a 1–1 draw with Wales on 2 March 1901. Though less common to the hobby than other related barbs, this peaceful, active, egg-laying fish is compatible with other related species in the home aquarium such as tiger barbs (Puntigrus tetrazona), and rosy barbs (Pethia conchonius) and other fast swimming cyprinid species of similar size. Also compatible with some cichlid species, but smaller fish such as neon tetras would be at risk of predation. As with many barbs, nippy behavior is common, but alleviated by keeping the fish in numbers of at least 5–6 individuals in the aquarium, while taking into account the space requirements of the adult size of 4–5 inches (10–12 cm).

Lawrence made his senior debut with local club Meadowbank Thistle. Having found a foothold in the professional game as a diminutive, nippy striker, he was soon on the way up, signing for Dundee late in the 1986–87 season. Further goalscoring exploits there saw him move to Airdrieonians two years later, where although being used chiefly as a forward, he would also be deployed as a winger. As Sumthin Fresh, the group appeared regularly on KNON FM 90.9. Initially, they appeared as guests on Nippy Jones Freaky Fresh Friday afternoon show and after teaming up with DJ Snake for music production, they were regulars on the "All Hardy Def Party" radio show which became the metroplex's hottest radio show at the time. The radio show, which was hosted by DJ Snake, Big Al, and Casanova Rock, was most popular to young Dallas hip-hoppers who had no other options or outlets for rap music. Howell was a highly skilled player despite his small size (5 feet 5 inches or 1.65 metres), playing as a nippy half-back or inside right. He began his career with the Sheffield club Ecclesfield and also played for Rotherham Swifts before signing along with two other Swifts players, Arthur Watson and Michael Whitham for newly formed Sheffield United in March 1890. Although he made his debut as a striker Howell was soon moved to defence where he played for the remainder of his career. He won promotion with the Blades to the First Division in 1893, and, in 1897–98, a Championship medal.

He made his Football League debut on 17 August 1996, as a late substitute in a 3–2 defeat away to Hull City in the Third Division. Described as "a nippy, twisting and turning former English under-18 striker with good close control", Innes spent time on loan with League of Ireland club Waterford United in early 1997, playing and scoring in the League of Ireland. He played three times for Darlington on his return, and was released in March 1997 to join Conference club Gateshead.

Mayer was born in Stoke-on-Trent, and after playing for local works teams, Newcastle PSA and Downings Tileries, he signed as a professional with Stoke City in August 1932. Mayer spent most of his career at Stoke in the reserves, making only one first-team appearance in the 1934–35 season which came in a 1–0 defeat at home to Chelsea on 9 March 1935. In March 1937, he was one of the first signings by Southampton's new manager Tom Parker for a fee of £650. Four English orphans – Cherry, Nigel, Brick and Nippy – migrate to Tasmania, to the care of their Aunt Jandie on her farm outside Hobart. At the age of 11, Coppell attended Quarry Bank High School in south Liverpool, where musician John Lennon and footballer Joe Royle had previously been pupils. Just one year ahead of Coppell were Clive Barker, Les Dennis and Brian Barwick, the chief executive of the FA since January 2005. Coppell was a nippy, incisive wide player in his youth but despite interest from some top clubs, he chose to join lower league Merseyside club Tranmere Rovers as he wanted to study for a degree in economic history at the University of Liverpool. By 1974, Coppell was playing for Tranmere, studying for his degree and coaching the university team. But in 1975 his life changed when Manchester United made an offer of £60,000 for him.

Second strikers tend not to be as tall or as physically imposing as a centre forward. Parker started his career with Fulham before joining QPR, where he made his name as a nippy and incisive centre back, even though he lacked the height normally associated with his position. During this period, Parker was sold by QPR to Manchester United for £2 million on 8 August 1991, and he made his debut (now as a specialist right back) against Notts County the same month. Some time ago, during a fight between Batman and a criminal scientist called Doctor Schievel, the struggle only succeeded in overturning a large beaker of 'Instant Freeze' solution onto the villain. Now calling himself Mr. Freeze, Schievel is forced to live inside a super-cooled house designed to keep his body temperature at fifty degrees below zero, and only able to leave with the use of a special air-conditioned suit, Mr. Freeze decides to begin a rampage of revenge. He breaks into the Gotham City Diamond Exchange to steal some famous diamonds (otherwise known as ‘ice’), but Batman and Robin, acting on a tip-off from Commissioner Gordon, arrive and attempt to stop him. However, Freeze’s henchmen, Chill, Nippy and Mo, release five Batman and Mr. Freeze decoys, and in the resulting confusion the frozen felon makes his escape.

Markus Strothmann is a jazz drummer by heart, who also likes to play various other styles. He is currently involved in 8 musical projects of various natures, resulting in gigs at high profiled jazz occasions such as “WDR Jazznacht” as well as “Wacken” in one and the same year. He teaches at the Artez Conservatory of Music in Enschede the Netherlands, as well as two German music schools. Even during his studies at the Artez Conservatory of Music in Enschede, which he completed with the degree “Master of Music”, Markus Strothmann was able to establish himself as a recognized personality within the European jazz scene. He was able to initiate his career as a jazz musician 2009 with his own concert series “Markus Strothmann meets...”, in which he met European jazz personalities such as Nippy Noya, Norbert Gottschalk, Bart van Lier and many more on stage.

Born in West Bromwich, Alf Dean was a short in stature 5 ft 5 ins (1.65 m) but not negligible 11 st (69.8 kg) nippy diminutive outside right with great dribbling skills. He was educated at West Bromwich Baptist school and played for Tantany Rangers and West Bromwich Standard before he began his professional career with Walsall in 1894 but failed to make an impression and left to join his hometown club West Bromwich Albion in May 1896. Returning to Walsall in September 1898 Dean finished as second top scorer with 13 goals in 30 appearances in 1898–99 as Walsall finished 6th of 18 clubs in the Second Division. This included two hat tricks on 12 Nov 1898 in 6–1 win v Gainsborough Trinity and on 4 Mar 1899 in 10–0 win v Darwen. Dean began the following season 1899–1900 as outside right and finished as centre forward scoring 5 goals in 12 appearances.

In 1975, the original Animals reunited and recorded an album called Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted, released in 1977. In May 1983, the Animals reunited with their original line-up and released the album Ark on 16 June 1983, along with the singles "The Night" and "Love Is For All Time". A world tour followed, and the concert at Wembley Arena, London, recorded on 31 December 1983, was released in 1984 as Greatest Hits Live (Rip It to Shreds). Their concert at the Royal Oak Theatre in April 1984 was released in 2008 as Last Live Show; the band members were augmented by Zoot Money, Nippy Noya, Steve Gregory and Steve Grant. The original Animals broke up for the last time at the end of 1984. Eric Burdon on the Dutch TV programme FanClub on 7 January 1967 Although the band Burdon formed in the late 1960s was sometimes called Eric Burdon and the New Animals, it wasn't until 1998 that the name Eric Burdon and the New Animals was officially adopted. The 1998 band had bassist Dave Meros, guitarist Dean Restum, drummer Aynsley Dunbar and keyboard guitarist Neal Morse. They recorded Live at the Coach House on 17 October 1998, released on video and DVD in December that year.
