Over the centuries, the cliff has deteriorated and hence the cave has widened up, where the sea waves directly hit the walls of the shivling, and submerges it during high tides.

On the way, Abhira robbers attack the entourage and plunder their wealth and kidnap some of Krishna's widows. Some of the widows burn themselves alive.

Judy Tanner, grieving after the murder of her husband Jack, desires to get revenge on the murderer. According to Chinezu, the text is important for showing the alienation of a prisoner, the man's transformation into "anonymous digit", and the apathetic crowd into which he submerges. As Manny delivers his sales pitch, the queen sees him as Clark Gable and Robert Taylor and is smitten, demanding she be married right away. The two are rushed into a marriage, and when asked to kiss the bride, Manny panics and jumps back into the cauldron; in a closing shot, he curses his captors with the hope that "they all get indigestion" as he submerges into the pot to his death.
