In 2009, Ajibola made a return to acting in the Teco Benson produced and directed movie, The Fake Prophet alongside Grace Amah. In 2013, he featured in the MTV Base produced television series, Shuga. He has also featured in several Nigerian box office movies including Last Flight to Abuja with Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and The Antique alongside Kiki Omeili, Judith Audu and Gloria Young. As of 2016, he had played the role of Spiff, a character in the Africa Magic produced television series The Johnsons for four seasons.

Port Harcourt Zoo (also known as PH Zoo) is a state owned zoological park in Port Harcourt city of Rivers State in Nigeria. The zoo was established in 1974 by military governor Alfred Diete-Spiff and was officially opened to the public on 1 October 1975. Located within Trans Amadi, in Obio-Akpor, Rivers State, Port Harcourt Zoo has been ranked among the major tourist attractions in the city and is considered one of Nigeria's leading conservation centres. The Port Harcourt International Airport is approximately 14 miles (22.5 km) northwest of the park.

He later, convinced that Iggy was delirious when he saw the narwhal in the waters of Brain Freeze, writes an article titled: "Local Pig Thinks he sees Unicorn Whale".

Spiff has a powerful operatic singing voice, as heard in "The Unsung Hero". He normally only sings in the shower, but in this episode, Iggy and Jiggers called upon him to sing for the cactuses in the desert after Zoop, who normally fulfills this job, went down with Laryngitis. He is skilled at martial arts, and on numerous occasions has applied this talent to his trash-picking routines. In "Sticking Together", he is shown to have a strong sense of smell, which also applies to his job usefully.

Samuel Ajibola is a Nigerian television and film actor, model and events compere. He is best known for his role as a child-actor in the Opa Williams directed movie Tears for Love, as well as his role as "Spiff" in the Africa Magic TV series The Johnsons. Ajibola is also famous for being the first Nigerian child actor to win the award for Best Kid Actor for three years in a row. On March 4, 2017 he won the AMVCA (Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award) for best Actor in an M-net comedy series The Johnsons.

Iggy, Jiggers, Zoop and Spiff are at Zoop's store, playing a game called "Tippy Canoe", in which they place various sweets and candies on a miniature boat, balanced on a pedestal. Kira comes in, and tells them that her business running the tourist kiosk has been going very slowly lately. She then asks if she can join in the game, but when Jiggers pulls a chair over for her, the chair knocks into the table, causing the boat to tip over, and the game to end. At that moment, Catfish Stu enters, putting up an advertisement in the window for a chef.

Remembering that juniper berries are a gourmet ingredient in cooking, and remembering Catfish Stu's taste for gourmet food, they immediately become suspicious, and investigate. At Stu's Adventure Camp, they find a new building has been set up, with a skylight; a place likely to serve as a greenhouse. Stu, however, has hired a flock of geese to serve as guards. After recruiting everyone and giving them each an assignment (Spiff must distract the geese with his gossip, Zoop turns off the security alarm, Kira makes sandwiches for everyone, Iggy and Jiggers retrieve the bushes) they set off.

Ralph Michael Iwowari, or Mein VII (19302013), was the Amanyanabo, or traditional ruler of Nembe-Bassambiri, one of the sections of the Nembe Kingdom in Bayelsa State, Nigeria. In July 1973, Ralph Iwowari was aide-de- camp to the military Governor of Rivers State, Naval Commander Alfred Diete- Spiff. He became furious with a journalist who published a critical article on the governor's birthday, and ordered him to be given 24 strokes of the cane and to have his head shaved with an old blade. Violence is endemic in the region, in part due to problems caused by oil exploitation and in part due to traditional rivalries.

In May 2012, Rico Love, who produced and wrote the hook of the song, spoke with XXL to discuss the making of the record. He stated the track had been completed relatively quickly. While Ross was recording new material for God Forgives, I Don't, American record producer and songwriter Rico Love played several productions to Spiff TV, the artists and repertoire manager for Maybach Music Group, Ross' record label, with the intention of playing Ross a production that the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G. would have recorded were he still alive.

Following the adventures of "The Great Rumble Hunt" in the first volume of the trilogy, the second volume begins with the surviving adventurers' discovery that Sam the horse is still alive. In attempting to rescue him the Borribles are lured into danger both by the newly established Special Borrible Group (SBG), a branch of the police determined to wipe out the Borribles and their way of life, and by one of their own – Spiff, whose motives behind the mission to Rumbledom are slowly revealed. All this leads the Borribles deep into Wendle territory beneath the streets of Wandsworth, and down into a shifting tunnel of mud dug deep beneath the mudflats of the Wendle River.

Bill Watterson (May 20, 1990), "Some Thoughts on the Real World by One Who Glimpsed It and Fled" , Kenyon College Commencement Speech He also contributed cartoons to the college newspaper, some of which included the original "Spaceman Spiff" cartoons. Later, when Watterson was creating names for the characters in his comic strip, he decided on Calvin (after the Protestant reformer John Calvin) and Hobbes (after the social philosopher Thomas Hobbes), allegedly as a "tip of the hat" to Kenyon's political science department. In The Complete Calvin and Hobbes, Watterson stated that Calvin was named for "a 16th-century theologian who believed in predestination," and Hobbes for "a 17th-century philosopher with a dim view of human nature." Watterson wrote a brief, tongue-in-cheek autobiography in the late 1980s.

In 2010, Diddy offered Mase a one-year release from Bad Boy Records to settle all their differences, with which Mase decided to retire from rap for good although he was to be re-signed to Bad Boy after the year was up. On April 17, 2012, Spiff TV Films – a production company best known for videos made for Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group releases – tweeted a photo of Mase, Ross and French Montana, as well as singer Omarion and producer Rico Love, together in the studio. The picture sparked speculation that Mase would be making his third return to music since his announced retirement to become a pastor in April 1999 and leaving again in 2007. A week after the photo appeared, DJ Funkmaster Flex debuted a remix of Wale's "Slight Work" on radio show.

At the end of "A Whale of a Tale", Iggy gets bombarded with details about ways in which he physically expresses his moods, with Kira saying he picks his teeth when worried, Spiff saying he scratches his neck when embarrassed, and Jiggers saying his face turns a certain way when he becomes annoyed. He also tends towards hyperactivity and anxiousness if he has nothing to keep him occupied."If Pigs Could Fly/Xtreme Iggy" In "If Pigs Could Fly", Iggy agrees to sit on a condor egg he and Jiggers found abandoned at Mount Kaboom, while Jiggers goes out to look for the mother condor. Iggy grows increasingly restless and bored while waiting, and when Zoop comes over to visit him upon Jiggers' request, she points out that he's creating restless vibes around the egg, and teaches him how to knit so he can occupy his time.

Rusconi's growing national channel starts its programming at noon, with a segment dedicated to children, during which various cartoons and anime series (particularly western cartoons) are broadcast, as well as successful original television series, like Star Trek, then in the early afternoon air-time is given to region- specific broadcasts, later restarting the national broadcast with more television series and the mid-afternoon 80's and 90's children's programming block, Bim Bum Bam (offering episodes from numerous cartoon series, predominantly more American and Europeen, like The Smurfs, Snorks, Count Duckula, Police Academy, Iznogoud, Inspector Gadget, Batman: The Animated Series, and Spiff and Hercules, and less Japanese). In the late afternoon the channel again broadcasts from local stations and an hour later airs a television series episode (like Paper Moon). Generally, in the early evening two films and one television series is broadcast. The network also offers plenty of air-time to sport programs dedicated to soccer, boxing, basketball and motor racing, including Andrea De Adamich's Grand Prix.
