L'Escarène () is an ancient commune in the Alpes-Maritimes department in southeastern France. It was part of the historic County of Nice until 1860, named Scarena. It was a main stop along the Route de Sel during the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries, between French Provence and Italian Piedmont, on the Nice- Turin road. It was built in the bottom of the valley of Spangle of Escarène at the confluence of the streams of Redebraus and Paillon.

The single Fracture was released soon after, along with a video made by Peacock, the band's first. The video would later appear on the DVD WarpVision. Seefeel's first album for Warp, Succour, was released in 1995.

This silk button spangle gall has a cover of golden hairs that give the impression of silk thread. The 0.3 cm button-shaped galls have a pronounced concavity and sit tightly against the leaf lamina. The similar gall wasp N. albipes Blister galls are about 0.3 cm in diameter and green or greyish in colour; well camouflaged with the leaf lamina. The gall has narrow ridges running downwards on all sides from a central papilla on the upper surface and sometimes on the lower surface as well.

Upper Columbia Academy's predecessor was Yakima Valley Academy. That original school closed in 1945 due to lack of space and physical plant problems - walls were held together by metal cables mounted on both sides of the rooms. The school had to find a bigger place and Pastor Mote was empowered by the church leadership to spend no more than $100,000 for a school. Pastor Mote came to the auction for the old poor farm in Spangle, but the minimum opening bid was over his limit.

Stranded blank on the barren, run-down planet Tayte, Jack decides that he has to make some cash. For that end he agrees to perform three quests for an individual (either the pawnbroker Ebeniezer or crime boss Git Savage): an egg of a Giant Kahoula bird, a bond for Quargian Pleno-credits stolen from the CitiCitiBank Bank vault, and an art exhibit by Renato Spangle from the Stoneybridge Gallery. When he brings all three items however, the player is set up and delivered to the police. While in jail, an unknown benefactor gives him the means to escape the Alkaseltz Prison.

Tributaries flowing off this divide into Latah Creek (right-bank tributaries) include Little Latah Creek, Rattlers Run Creek, Rock Creek and California Creek. Left-bank tributaries include Marshall Creek and North Pine Creek. The watershed is bordered on the south by that of the Palouse River, and on the west, Hole-In-The-Ground Creek, a tributary of the Palouse, and on the northwest, Deep Creek, a tributary of the Spokane. Roads paralleling Latah Creek include (from mouth to headwaters) U.S. Highway 195, Latah Creek Road, Spangle-Waverly Road, Washington State Route 27, and Idaho State Route 95.

A reunion with Maurice Chevalier was also considered. Other thwarted projects with Eddy were The Rosary, The Desert Song, and a remake of The Vagabond King, plus two movie treatments written by Eddy for them, Timothy Waits for Love and All Stars Don't Spangle. Offers continued to come in, and in 1962, producer Ross Hunter proposed MacDonald in his 1963 comedy The Thrill of It All, but she declined. 20th Century Fox also toyed with the idea of MacDonald (Irene Dunne was briefly considered) for the part of Mother Abbess in the film version of The Sound of Music.

With Raymonde, the band released a series of critically acclaimed albums and EPs that explored their new style. These included The Spangle Maker (1984), Treasure (1984), Aikea-Guinea (1985), Tiny Dynamine (1985), Echoes in a Shallow Bay (1985), and Love's Easy Tears (1986). Raymonde, who was called in to work on the second album by This Mortal Coil, did not participate in the recording of the fourth Cocteau Twins LP, Victorialand (1986), a predominantly acoustic record which featured only Guthrie and Fraser. Raymonde returned to the group for The Moon and the Melodies (1986), a collaboration with ambient composer Harold Budd, which was not released under the Cocteau Twins name.

Spangle is a historical novel written by Gary Jennings (1928–1999). Published in 1987, it follows a circus troupe known as "Florian's Flourishing Florilegium of Wonders" from the Confederate surrender at Appomattox to Europe, ending in France during the Franco-Prussian War. The book chronicles the rise of the troupe from a small "mud show" with few acts to the glittering toast of Paris, while delving into the evolving personal lives of its performers. The book is also an examination of the social structures of both post-Civil War America and Europe during a period in which the ancient system of monarchy was toppling.

Shortly after the album was released, English was replaced by Kelsey Kennedy. After a further single, "Raze", on Mint Tea, the band signed to Beggars Banquet Records, who issued the "Birthday" EP (which included the three tracks recorded for a session for John Peel's BBC Radio 1 show in July) in late 1993, and the band's second album, Syrup Macrame, again with Fridmann at the controls, in August 1994. The band split up in 1996. Laird later released Radial Spangle songs under the name The Charm Pops, with recordings that included Tippens and Kennedy and later a variety of musician friends to complete the album.

Born September 20, 1928, in Buena Vista, Virginia, to Glen Edward and Vaughnye May Jennings, Gary Jennings attended little formal school after graduating from Eastside High School (of Lean on Me fame) in Paterson, New Jersey, and was mostly self-educated thereafter. His novels were known for their historical detail and occasionally graphic content. Jennings' novels are well-researched: he lived for 12 years in Mexico to research the Aztec novels, traveled the Balkans while researching Raptor, and joined nine circus troupes during the writing of Spangle. He also produced a number of novels for younger readers, such as A Rope in the Jungle and a history of the occult Black Magic, White Magic.

After signing with the British record label 4AD in 1982, the band released their debut album Garlands later that year, "mixing strong Siouxsie and the Banshees and Joy Division influences" as the British press promoted it at the time. The addition of Raymonde in 1983 solidified their final lineup, which produced The Spangle Maker EP (containing their biggest hit in their native United Kingdom, "Pearly-Dewdrops' Drops", peaking at No. 29 on the UK Singles Chart) and their third studio album, Treasure in 1984. Raymonde temporarily left the band during the recording of their fourth album, Victorialand. In 1988, Cocteau Twins signed with Capitol Records in the United States, distributing their fifth album, Blue Bell Knoll, through a major label in the country.

Walking through town at night, Bean attempts to comb his hair in a shop window, but has difficulty combing the back of his head. To resolve the problem, he uses an ID photo booth to photograph the back of his head, before heading off to a nightclub called "Club Phut" (the word was previously seen as graffiti at the start of "The Return of Mr. Bean"), meeting up with his girlfriend Irma Gobb (also played by Ziegler). As they head inside, Bean is irritated by the club's flashing neon sign so hits the power box for the sign, causing it to stop flashing and eventually cut out. Inside, the pair enter the stage area where a magic act is being performed by a magician named Eddie Spangle.

Florence Stowe of Coeur d'Alene was elected president "by a four to one majority" over her male opponent, Ray Hubbard of Spangle. This election result was reported in the school newspaper in an article beginning simply "The women won." That piece went on to describe the course of the campaign, in which "certain women, who preached the gospel of feminine solidarity," persuaded all of Stowe's female opponents to withdraw their candidacies, since "it was claimed by the feminine campaign spellbinders that the men of the school had purposely promoted the candidacies of several women in order to split the women's vote." Ultimately, women won every office in that quarter's election: Stowe was joined in victory by Janett Craig as Vice President, Jessie Duff as Secretary- treasurer, and Clara Peterson as Chairman of the Program Committee.

It is found in Europe, across western Siberia and the Altai Mountains, the northern Caucasus, northern Turkey and northern Iran. left P. bractea F. ( = securis Vill.) Forewing purplish fuscous with many fine dark strigulae; the lines finely dark but indistinct, inwardly oblique; the inner line below middle finely golden, the outer golden at inner margin only; median area below middle ferruginous brown, containing at base of vein 2 a large irregular somewhat sinuous shining golden blotch (the golden blotch varies from a subquadrate, somewhat anvil-shaped mark to an elongate, sinuous, tongue-shaped one); a deeper diffuse shade from apex to middle; hindwing dull bronzy yellowish tinged with fuscous; the terminal area diffusely deep fuscous.

Indeed, the Bandit was included in the 1971 brochure and publicity photographs taken at Umberslade Hall featuring British speedway rider and Triumph production tester Tony Lomas with British model Carol Cleveland (famous for British TV comedy Monty Python) had already been produced.BSA/Triumph Present: Power Set '71 by Brad Jones (Spangle Publishing 2012) Hopwood did note that the production release date was constantly delayed from spring 1971 with even autumn 1972 suggested gravely affecting BSA-Triumph's credibility with dealers especially in the critical US market. It has also been suggested that the model name was to have been Toledo but that had been taken by the Triumph car company and that the Bandit name was intended for the equivalent BSA model instead.

Wes Sharon began his career in Oklahoma and Texas playing bass in alternative rock and punk bands. By his late teens he was being asked to produce sessions for other local bands and in 1994 he relocated to Cotati, CA where he became a staff recording engineer and producer at Prairie Sun Recording Studios and had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of artists such asRemy Zero, Far (band), Simon Says (band), Gregg Allman, Wayne Perkins, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Tony MacAlpine, The Doobie Brothers, and Blag Dahlia & the Dwarves. Returning to Oklahoma he built his own facility and produced and engineered albums for artists such as Traindodge, Radial Spangle, Hurricane Jane, Charm Pops, Remember August, the Roustabouts, the Martini Kings and Smarty Pants. In recent years he has produced and/or engineered releases for John Fullbright, Turnpike Troubadours (2011 Lone Star Music New Artist of the Year and Best Album of the Year Award Winners), Ali Harter, The Damn Quails, Camille Harp (the 2011 Oklahoma Gazette Best in Country Award winner), Aranda (band), Parker Millsap, Jeremy Johnson & the Lonesome Few (2009 Oklahoma Gazette New Artist of the Year), and multiple albums with producer/singer/songwriter Mike McClure.
