Cogswell Lee Development and Gluck+, which is also the project's architect, are developing the condo building, and plan to festoon the lobby with Streit's memorabilia The new Streit's factory at 171 Route 303, Orangeburg, New York, replaced the matzo factory in Manhattan and warehouse and dry pack facility in Moonachie, New Jersey.

Close view with HST NGC 3597 is thought to be the product of the collision of two large galaxies, and it appears to be slowly evolving to become an elliptical galaxy. Because of this, NGC 3597 is interesting to astronomers. Galaxies smashing together pool their available gas and dust, triggering new rounds of star birth. Some of this material ends up in dense pockets initially called proto-globular clusters, dozens of which festoon NGC 3597.

Fair Trial (1932–1958) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and champion sire. He was bred and raced by John Arthur Dewar, who also bred and raced Tudor Minstrel. The leading sire in Great Britain and Ireland in 1950, during his career Fair Trial sired 201 race winners, including Classic winners Lambert Simnel, Court Martial, Festoon, and Palestine. Through his daughters, Fair Trial was the 1951 leading broodmare sire in Great Britain and Ireland.

Within the Dox Formation, the Solomon Temple Member overlies the Escalante Creek Member. The Solomon Temple Member consists of cyclical sequences of red mudstone, siltstone, and quartz sandstone. The lower of this member consist of slope-forming red-to-maroon shaley siltstone and mudstone interbedded with quartz sandstone. The upper of the member consists primarily of maroon quartz sandstone that exhibits numerous channel features, and contains low-angle, tabular, and channel-like festoon cross beds.

The recorded history of Binic dates to the Neolithic period (between 3500 and 1800 BC). Megalithic monuments festoon the area, such as the dolmen of Margot's Table; this however was destroyed in 1816 during work on the port. In the Middle Ages, Binic (then called Benic) was a small village of no more than twenty houses. Despite its relatively small size, it was an appealing venue for fairs and markets and attracted people from the surrounding villages.

Finally, the Amasis Painter is most recognizable in his use of floral ornamental bands, which Beazley characterizes as lively and vivid.Beazley, The Development of Attic Black-Figure, 54. Beginning with simple upright-buds, as opposed to the pendant buds characteristic of other artists, he eventually developed the more complex palmette-lotus festoon. He used both of these motifs throughout his career, and, especially in later works, they are notable for their excellent symmetry and balance of color.

Lambert Simnel was a bay horse, bred by his owner Hugh Grosvenor, 2nd Duke of Westminster. He was from the first crop of foals sired by Fair Trial who won the Queen Anne Stakes in 1935 before becoming a highly successful breeding stallion. His other progeny included the classic winners Court Martial, Festoon, and Palestine. Lambert Simnel's dam, Simnel was a moderate racehorse with a relatively undistinguished pedigree but was distantly related to Stargrass who became the grand-dam of the Exbury.

Swastikas began to appear at just the same period on pottery in the north of Italy, and are probably an imported conception from the Danube to the Balkans. The other chief motives are the festoon, and the zigzag. Cross-hatched lozenges are common to all these geometric schools but the Maltese cross, though only occasional, is peculiar to the Peucetians. This black and white ware goes back to 650BC and has a range of about 150 years from that point downwards.

Ginevra was retired from racing at the end of her three-year-old season and was sold to a Japanese breeding syndicate for 106,000 guineas at the December Sales. She was the first British Classic winner just out of training that had been sold at the December Sales since Festoon was sold in 1954. Ginevra did not produce successful racers in Japan and died at the Yoshida Stud Farm on 18 March 1982 while foaling her last foal, Mrs. Ginevra.

His first prominent one was on the 1000 Guineas winner Festoon when she failed to win the Oaks, but also later when she gave Mercer his first Royal Ascot victory in the Coronation Stakes. The language is characterised by an abundance of composite words built on the combination of words literally translated from German, but in a small number of cases including a Slavic word. Often, the particular combination in Dutch may create a hint or an echo of a totally unconnected word. For instance, "mislinger" (loser,failure, a person) combines the Dutch word mis (miss = wrong, failure) with the German word (ge)lingen (succeed) creating a word which hints at "slinger" (pendulum or festoon). The actual Dutch word is "mislukkeling".

Nakhlband (Persian: نخلبندی) is a Persian craft of making artificial trees and flowers. The trees and the flowers, the fruit and the miniature gardens were long produced by distinctive craftsmen called the nakhlband. This term has an Arabic root and a Persian ending meaning "a maker of artificial flowers," but it may also have the meaning of a "festoon maker." Paper, paste, wax, and paint were the ingredients of this minor art, with the most costly and elegant productions carried out in coloured wax.

The emblem of the USAF HG, created before 1973. The unit emblem was designed by former superintendent Malcolm Haines prior to 1973.> It is composed of crossed M1 Garand rifles with fixed bayonets silhouetted over a silver/gray Roman helmet adorned with a scarlet red horsehair festoon on a field of ultramarine blue with the attached organization motto. The Roman helmet is symbolic of the Praetorian Guard of the Roman Empire---the original Honor Guard of the Western World---whose duty it was to protect the reigning emperor.

The other windows on the upper storey are decorated with architraves and cornices, while those three that are above the central portico have balustrades and consoled cornices. Beneath the upper and lower storeys, the building is of rusticated ashlar to the ground level. The entrance, in the centre of the front, is approached by an imperial staircase and framed by a tetrastyle portico of the Corinthian order. Decorative panels in Liardet's stucco with festoon motifs decorate the wall above the portico, while the royal coat of arms of the United Kingdom decorates the pediment.

Each festoon ends with an oval opening in which, above a bright sky background, are groups of puttos with symbols of hunting (animals, weapons). Below, along the walls, are trompe l'oeil lunettes depicting statues inside niches, with simulated lighting from below. The lower zone contains a series of ram heads (perhaps a reference to the Aries zodiac sign, the first in Spring) connected by painted drapery, which in turn support objects such as plates, vases and others. Finally, above the fireplace, Correggio painted the Roman goddess Diana on a chariot, towed by deers.

Wilkening and Brown(1972); pp. 51–66 He was given additional sculpture projects at the exposition, panels for the Arches of Triumph and a festoon over the main door of the Palace of Fine Arts. After returning to New York in 1915, Bufano entered a nationwide art competition and exhibit on the theme "The Immigrant in America". Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney funded the contest, and the exhibit was held in the Whitney Studio Club at 8 West 8th Street in Greenwich Village, which Whitney established to exhibit the work of young artists.

The pillar originally supported a statue of Garuda, now lost, or possibly located in the Gujari Mahal Museum in Gwalior. The ornamental bands on the pillar are at the junctions of the octagon-sixteenths and sixteenths-thirty-seconds sections. The lower ornamental band consists of half-rosettes, while the upper ornamental band is a festoon with birds (swag with flowers, leaves and hanging vines). Early scholars mistook it as geese (or swan), but a closer examination revealed that they are regular pigeon-like birds, not geese (nor swan).

Along much of the cliffed coast between Brighton and Newhaven (and beyond to Eastbourne), frost involution structures can be seen in the upper meter of the chalk cliff. These involutions appear as repeated 'U' (festoon) shaped structures and date from the Devensisn (last glacial period). Frost heaving broke up the sub-surface sedimentary layers of chalk turning small slabs into a more and more upright orientation towards the surface, to be covered by present day soil. The centre of the 'U' structure is a fill of finer chalk and sands giving a more orange / yellow appearance.

In conjunction with the railway's Santa Trains each December the station is renamed North Pole Halt and is transformed into a waiting area, serving as the line's temporary terminus for the running days (the headland section is not used as it is exposed to possible inclement weather). Festoon lighting is erected, and a large temporary canopy provided as shelter for passengers, and the area suitably fenced to provide a queuing area for waiting passengers. So, despite being one of the quietest stations on the island generally, for four days each December it is transformed into one of the island's busiest.

In the centre of the floor is an octagonal dining room designed in a rather strict Neoclassical style: green and grey faux marble wall paintings with golden festoon-like decoration. Above the doors are painted reliefs depicting Mercury, Venus and Ceres. The cocklestove was made by the Marieberg cocklestove factory; Johan Liljencrantz was the main owner of the factory and seventeen of only approximately thirty known such stoves are located in Sturehov manor. The cocklestove in the so-called yellow antechamber, also on the first floor, is generally considered to be the most accomplished cocklestove in Sweden.

In 1336 a statue of Saint Zeno was placed in the west front, sculpted by Jacopo di Mazzeo. Between 1379 and 1440 the façade was reconstructed with the addition of three tiers of loggias and a portico. In 1504 Andrea della Robbia was commissioned to undertake the decoration of the archivolt (for which he created a festoon with plant themes and, in the middle, the crest of the Opera di San Jacopo), of the portico as well as of the lunette with bas-reliefs over the central portal, depicting the "Madonna with Child and Angels". He finished the works in 1505.

The body whorl is armed around the carinate periphery with long slender closed tubular radiating spines, about eight in number on the body-whorl, and which are reabsorbed as the growth advances leaving only short stumps to festoon the sutures. The upper surface shows a close revolving series – generally eight to ten on the body whorl – of minute laterally compressed granules. The base of the shell is slightly convex, usually with a marginal row of granules, and several rows surrounding the central callus. The aperture is transversely ovate, angulate and channelled at peripheral carina, iridescent within.

The scene portrayed is a Holy Conversation, with a high throne where the Virgin and Child sit, placed over a Classical-style pedestal and crowned by a small engraved arch featuring a festoon with vegetables. Mary is reading a Bible, while Jesus holds a white lily, symbolizing her virginity and purity. Over a gilded step are St. John the Baptist and St. Lawrence, surmounted by two flying angels. On the marble step below, Signorelli portrayed a sitting angel playing a lute, perhaps a homage to elements typical of the contemporary Venetian school (such as the San Cassiano Altarpiece by Antonello da Messina).

Intensive anthropogenic activity has also impacted the fauna of Pryingulsky RLP. Cattle pasture, recreational loads, amateur fishery, poaching in the area of Sofiivske water reservoir, steppe and forest fire deplete the fauna of RLP, which, however, is much better preserved than in the bordering agrolandscapes. The list of rare and threatened species being under protection of the State includes Southern Festoon (Zerynthia polyxena), Old World Swallowtail (Papilio machaon), Mammoth Wasp (Scolia maculata), Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa valga), Large Whip Snake (Coluber jugularis), Long-legged Buzzard (Buteo rufinus), Stoat or Ermine (Mustela erminea), Steppe Polecat (Mustela eversmanii) etc.

The Chapel of Saint James is of a very pure and select Flamboyant style, one of the best examples that exist in Spain.The Flamboyant style came late to Spain from northern Europe and disappeared quickly being replaced by Isabelline Gothic in Spain and by Manueline in Portugal. This most elaborate Gothic style is reflected in the entrance arches with their openwork traceries and in the skylight of the blind arches of the interior, in the gables, the ornaments (openwork and hanging festoon), and the structural ribs rising from the floor that cross the vault forming a star. Nevertheless, the exterior features are austere, and completely Hispanic.

The facade has, on the next three stories, a group of three windows on either side of a slightly recessed central bay blind except for a large terra cotta tablet on the second story with the inscription "Griggs Building". Above it, on the third story, is another tablet with the date of construction, 1884, in a frame topped by a pediment. Corinthian pilasters divide the windows on all three stories, supporting a plain entablature running across all three. Below the third- and fourth-story windows are terra cotta panels with a festoon carving in the middle surrounded by bead and reel, a motif that continues in the pilaster capitals.

Britta Jaschinski of Time Out said: "Checking in feels a bit like arriving at a Scientology meeting." Bryony Gordon blogged that "there is even a waiting list for the waiting list". In 2004, Meridiani Planum was the landing site for the second of NASA's two Mars Exploration Rovers, named Opportunity. It had also been the target landing site for Mars Surveyor 2001 Lander, which was cancelled after the failures of the Mars Climate Orbiter and Mars Polar Lander missions. The Eagle crater wall showed layered sandstones, composed of basaltic detritus cemented by sulfate evaporites, and "blue berry" hematite spherules. At Endurance crater, the hematite-sulfate Burns formation showed aeolian dune field cross bedding in the sandstone lower unit, topped by an aeolian sand sheet in the middle unit, and followed by festoon laminations in the upper unit.

In other examples, the Amasis Painter’s use of fringed garments also emphasizes a possible close relationship between the two.

These are hanging from a knot of flowered ribbons and framed by a festoon of olive leaves that are ornamented with fluttering, flowered ribbons. There is a playful variedness in the ornamentation with a lot of slight differences between the two reliefs. Tomb of Antoniotto Pallavicini Funeral monument of Cardinal Antoniotto PallaviciniThe funeral monument of Cardinal Antoniotto Pallavicini on the left wall was made by the Bregno workshop. It was originally set up in the apse of the Old St. Peter's Basilica but a Dutch traveller, Aernout van Buchel glimpsed it in 1587 among various other discarded tombs and sculptures in the nave due to the ongoing demolition of the ancient church.

There is a blackish spot at the base on the submedian fold. The inner line is black, before one-third, evenly outcurved and sinuate on vein 1, preceded by two indistinct dark parallel lines. The basal area is limited by a thicker curved wavy line and the outer line is black, concave outwards from the costa to vein 4, on which it is bent, then oblique inwards to the submedian fold, and vertically sinuous to the inner margin, followed immediately by a dark parallel line and at a distance by a dark wavy line. The subterminal line is pale grey between blackish shades, met by a curved black streak from the apex and there is a black terminal festoon.

The Domus Augusti Room of the Masks, House of Augustus, Palatine Hill, Rome Room of the Pine Festoon, House of Augustus, Palatine Hill, Rome The house encompasses the northern rooms on Peristyle A. After building a temple to Apollo Augustus destroyed some of the rooms, reconfigured the villa building a large Peristyle A and rooms over the original house. The visible structure consists of two rows of rooms built in opus quadratum, divided into eastern and western sections. The rooms to the western side of this complex may have been the private living quarters and have extensive wall decorations. One room, known as the Room of the Masks, features perspective architectural paintings and theatrical masks, typical of the Second Style of Roman wall painting.

In 1967, notes were introduced in denominations of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20 and $100, with all except the $5 replacing their pound predecessors. The original series of dollar notes featured on the obverse a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik tiara, King George's VI festoon necklace, and Queen Mary's floret earrings, while the reverse featured native birds and plants. The notes were changed slightly in 1981 due to a change of printer (from De La Rue to Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co.)—the most noticeable difference being the portrait based upon a photograph by Peter Grugeon, in which Queen Elizabeth II is wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir's tiara and Queen Victoria's golden jubilee necklace. The $50 note was added in 1983 to fill the long gap between the $20 and the $100 notes.

Made by E. Wolfe & Co., it was purchased from Garrard & Co. by a committee organised by Lady Eve Greville. In 1914, Mary adapted the tiara to take 13 diamonds in place of the large oriental pearls surmounting the tiara. Leslie Field, author of The Queen's Jewels, described it as, "a festoon-and- scroll with nine large oriental pearls on diamond spikes and set on a base of alternate round and lozenge collets between two plain bands of diamonds".

Sun Cap began her second season by winning the Prix Penelope over 2100 metres at Saint-Cloud Racecourse on 18 April at odds of 30/1. The 176th running of the Oaks Stakes over one and a half miles at Epsom Racecourse on 4 June attracted a field of twenty-one fillies with Sun Cap, ridden by the Australian jockey Rae Johnstone, being one of four French challengers. The betting for the race was unusually open with Altana (third in the Grand Critérium) and Sybil's Niece (Queen Mary Stakes) starting 8/1 joint-favourites ahead of Bara Bibi (Princess Elizabeth Stakes) and Amora (Cheshire Oaks) with Sun Cap next in the betting on 100/8 alongside Festoon and Angel Bright (Lingfield Oaks Trial). Sun Cap took the lead approaching the final furlong and drew away to win the race "with the utmost ease" by six lengths from Altana with Philante taking third to complete a 1-2-3 for France.

The entrance consists of a two-storeyed gabled element which projects from the face of the building, and is composed of an arched doorway to the ground floor with unpainted rendered classical detailing above and to the first floor. The detailing includes coursed render to the ground floor expressing voussoirs, above which is located an open-crown pediment with relief mouldings which are described in the Brisbane Sculpture Guide (Judith McKay 1988) as The festoon of Queensland agricultural produce—including wheat, strawberries, macadamia nuts, bananas and pumpkins— (which) is given due status by the addition of classical acanthus leaves. Above this are paired columns either side of a shield, which originally housed the words "DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE", which support an entablature with an urn at either end and a low arched window with expressed keystone to the first floor in the centre. The pediment above has a central shield with the date 1898 AD. The doorway has double panelled timber doors, with an arched fanlight with radiating mullions.
