Mega Publishing House, Cluj-Napoca, 2011) was a fort in the Roman province of Dacia in the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD. It was unearthed in the village Ilişua (commune Uriu, Romania) in 1978. The fort was edified by Ala I Tungrorum Frontoniana. On the site a significant number of ballista projectiles were discovered: 27 stone projectiles having diameter between 7 and 13.5 cm and weigh up to 2 kg. The artillery was used as defensive, probably located in the fort's towers.

Following the collapse of the promontory of Ras Shekka in 551 CE, the coastal road linking the cities of Batroun, El-Heri and Tripoli completely disappeared, transforming the northern shoreline into a high sea cliff. Consequently, a new road bypassing the promontory from the east was necessary to ensure communication between Batroun and the North. Crossing the Nahr el- Jawz valley, this road turns around Ras ech-Chaqa'a promontory to reach the other side at a spot near El-Heri called Bab el-Hawa (meaning the "door of the wind"). Since Viale Luigi Majno is located in a densely populated residential area, its buildings are between 25 and 35 meters high, and have 4 (in the most ancient) to 10 storeys. Because of the urban development plan of 2004, Viale Luigi Majno and the surrounding areas can't be subject to invasive demolitions or edifications; new buildings erected since 2004 have had to comply with some very strict and precise building and aesthetic regulations. The parish records were lost when the church was destroyed by fire, and consequently there is little detailed information about Dummer's thirty years at York. Dummer is known, however, to have officiated at the wedding of James Smith of Berwick and Martha Mills at Wells in June 1677.
