A tessellation of the plane is a partition of the plane into smaller regions called tiles. The zeroth corona of a tile is defined as the tile itself, and for k > 0 the kth corona is the set of tiles sharing a boundary point with the (k − 1)th corona. The Heesch number of a figure S is the maximum value k such that there exists a tiling of the plane, and tile t within that tiling, for which that all tiles in the zeroth through kth coronas of t are congruent to S. In some work on this problem this definition is modified to additionally require that the union of the zeroth through kth coronas of t is a simply connected region. If there is no upper bound on the number of layers by which a tile may be surrounded, its Heesch number is said to be infinite.

Enrile countered that the corporation can't be considered as dissolved as it still has to undergo liquidation, and that the SEC can't dissolve corporations; its own stockholders or the government can do that. The senators commented that corporations that are suspended by the SEC can still lend money, and can still be sued. She said that the Coronas paid three installments within one year, in 2004.
She worked in the sugar beet and onion fields as her children grew, but also traveled to Mexico and was inspired to make her own type of art. Her writing reflects a focus on the importance of tradition and wisdom, and is noted by other authors as an inspiration.

After the revolutionary government of Cuba unilaterally nationalised all the cigar manufactures in 1959, Fernando Palicio voluntarily left Cuba for Florida. He subsequently sold his cigar lines to the Villazon family, which continued to make Punch, Hoyo de Monterrey and Belinda cigars in their Tampa, Florida factory from Honduran tobacco for the American market. Hoyo de Monterrey continued production in Cuba and in Honduras and is still a popular, globally marketed Cuban cigar line. Among connoisseurs, the Epicure No. 2, Double Coronas and Le Hoyo series are particularly prized.
The Coronas are the Irish rock band that originated in and at Dublin. They release their music by their own independent record label, 3ú Records, and are based between Dublin and London. They have released five studio albums, Heroes or Ghosts (2007), Tony Was an Ex-Con (2009), Closer to You (2011) The Long Way (2014), Trust The Wire (2017) & True Love Waits (2020). The band split and then reformed as Corona, later changing the name to The Coronas to avoid any confusion with the Italian dance outfit. The first album brought them widespread popular acclaim with songs such as, Heroes or Ghosts and San Diego Song. Tony Was an Ex-Con received Best Irish Album at the 2010 Meteor Awards, beating Snow Patrol's Up To Now and U2's No Line on the Horizon among others. Closer to You was released in 2011, and was the band's first UK release, later in 2012.
The song was the source of inspiration for the beat and chorus of "Hoodmorning" by Compton rapper The Game. Named after the rapper's signature Twitter phrase, "Hoodmorning" was produced by in-house record producer Mars and The Game released it as the opening track of his twelfth mixtape, Hoodmorning (No Typo): Candy Coronas. Hosted by DJ Skee, the mixtape was made in promotion of the repeatedly delayed release of his fourth studio album The R.E.D. Album (2011). On July 28, 2011, DJ Skee made available an exclusive preview trailer for the mixtape on YouTube.
Ectons are explosive electron emissions observed as individual packets or avalanches of electrons, occurring as microexplosions at the cathode. The electron current in an ecton starts flowing as a result of overheating of the metal cathode because of the high energy density (104Jg−1), and stops when the emission zone cools off. Ectons occur in plasma-involving phenomena, such as: electrical discharges in vacuum, cathode spots of vacuum arcs, volumetric discharges in gases, pseudosparks, coronas, unipolar arcs, etc. An ecton consists of individual portions of electrons (1011– 1012 particles).

The revival of Irish traditional folk music in the sixties may initially have hindered the creation of contemporary folk and pop music in Irish. Traditional music, though still popular, now shares the stage with modern Irish-language compositions, a change due partly to the influence of Seachtain na Gaeilge. Yearly albums of contemporary song in Irish now appear, though most are translations from the English. The artists have included Mundy, The Frames, The Coronas, The Corrs, The Walls, Paddy Casey, Kíla, Luan Parle, Gemma Hayes, Bell X1 and comedian/rapper Des Bishop.

Shortly after Reychesta through New York producer Spank meets P.N.O, they both recorded a song that was never published called "Real Soldados" produced by Spank. Then P.N.O suggested to Rocca that they will work with him Dominican. One day they gather at the P.N.O house in Brooklyn and start improvising songs, while watching a horse race on television, in which the race rapporteur says: "triple crown" (crown translated into Spanish is corona), that is when Reychesta suggests baptizing the group as Tres Coronas, P.N.O and Rocca agreed with the idea.
In 2016 and due to conflicts with "Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Inc.", Reychesta changed his stage name to Primera corona, referring to the name of the former group. In 2017, in the magazine Rolling Stone: Colombia, they published Rocca biography, entitled: De Bogotá a París (round trip). Excerpt from the published biography: Tres Coronas was taking shape and Dominican Reychesta would join the project, according to Rocca: “He was very talented in freestyle, that's why we chose him, but he was very rough, he didn't write his lyrics.
The building is of architectural significance for its aggressive incorporation of curvilinear forms and ornaments. Additional particulate matter in the sky can scatter different colours at different angles creating colourful glowing skies at dusk and dawn. Scattering off of ice crystals and other particles in the atmosphere are responsible for halos, afterglows, coronas, rays of sunlight, and sun dogs. The variation in these kinds of phenomena is due to different particle sizes and geometries. Mirages are optical phenomena in which light rays are bent due to thermal variations in the refraction index of air, producing displaced or heavily distorted images of distant objects.
Fans of The Coronas sang their "San Diego Song" whilst queueing, with the band also revealing the title of the second album for the first time, saying they had only decided on the title that day. Kilkee hosted the former Cois Fharraige festival in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Each year the festival was held over three days in September and consisted of live music and water sport events including a surf competition in Spanish Point. Introduced in Japan in September 1978, the T130 series Corona adopted a boxier design over the outgoing T100/110/120 series. It maintained the standard front-engine / rear-wheel- drive layout of all Coronas that preceded it. The T130 series was available in a wide range of body styles across various markets including a four-door sedan, two-door hardtop coupe, four-door wagon and new five-door liftback, which featured a 40:60 split fold rear seat. The assignment of "T130" to all Corona body styles signified a new approach from having different series number identifiers for the various body styles.
Corona discharge is the creation of ions in a fluid (such as air) by the presence of a strong electric field. Electrons are torn from neutral air, and either the positive ions or the electrons are attracted to the conductor, while the charged particles drift. This effect can cause considerable power loss, create audible and radio-frequency interference, generate toxic compounds such as oxides of nitrogen and ozone, and bring forth arcing. Both AC and DC transmission lines can generate coronas, in the former case in the form of oscillating particles, in the latter a constant wind.
On Monday 23 June, The Coronas played in Dublin. Local skaters were invited to skate with the Red Bull pro skate team who then selected the best skater from each venue crowning him or her the 'Red Bull Local Hero'. The Local Hero's prize also included weekend festival passes to Oxegen '08.
In the process of promoting "Nuestra Cosa: Deluxe Edition", Boy Wonder offered a contract to Tres Coronas on the seal "Chosen Few Emerald Entertainment, Inc.", but the only one to accept it was Reychesta, without telling his teammates. Reychesta main reason for accepting that contract was that Rocca and P.N.O paid him a "misery" that was not enough for him to finish his university studies as he wanted and had promised to finish them to his grandmother Ramona Collado, before she died. Also because they did not consider him as a member of the group, but as a simple employee of "Parcero Production".

Harmon portrayed Del Henry on the program All My Children from 1994 to 1995. He has made appearances on Baywatch Nights and Acapulco H.E.A.T.. Harmon told Soap Opera Digest about his guest stint on H.E.A.T.: <.. I hung out with John McCook the whole time and I kept watching all these people from other countries asking for his autograph. They have also supported The Rapture at Tripod in Dublin and performed with Republic of Loose in The Academy, as well as The Coronas at the same venue. In early 2009 the band embarked on a tour of the United States, performing in destinations such as New York City, Texas and Los Angeles. In a piece for independent.ie, the band perhaps jokingly said that they have used several cost-saving initiatives, including buying less batteries for their guitar effects pedals, less guitar strings and have also stated that they have restricted themselves to two strippers each per show.
In Ireland "The Original Rudeboys" joined up with UB40, The Coronas and The Rubberbandits at the inaugural Strawberry Fest in Wexford in June and 50 Cent and Faithless at the first ever Waterford Music Festival in July. They played to a crowd of 5,000 where they were spotted by a BBC reporter and were subsequently invited to play the "Introducing Stage" at both Leeds Festival and Reading Festival in August. Among the crowd at the Reading Festival was producer Jake Gosling who approached the band after their set and asked would they like to work with him.
There are three glaciers on the slopes of the mountain: the oldest, Aneto glacier on the north side; the Barrancos, alongside the Las Tempestades on the north-east side; and the Coronas or Coronado glacier on the south side. The rest cannot truly be defined as glaciers without contention, as they have lost all mobility and do not behave as such. Among these are the Cregüella, Alba and Salenques glaciers, which are in a major state of decline. However, even considering them as snowfields, their past glacier state has kept them to date and they are expected to maintain their icy heart for decades.
A sub-surface flare could conduct heat to the atmosphere, allowing electric currents to flow and produce an X-ray flare, like a stroke of lightning. The absence of X-rays from LP 944-20 during the non-flaring period is also a significant result. It sets the lowest observational limit on steady X-ray power produced by a brown dwarf, and shows that coronas cease to exist as the surface temperature of a brown dwarf cools below about 2800K and becomes electrically neutral. Using NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory, scientists have detected X-rays from a low-mass brown dwarf in a multiple star system.

Its remarkable interior has some interesting spaces, like the Golden Gallery, made in Baroque style, and the Crown Hall. Initially the Palace was designed as a civil Gothic style urban castle and was ultimately transformed into a comfortable fortified palace. The main entrance to the Palacio Ducal is a robust door with a rounded arch, which together with the hallways are the oldest elements of the Gothic palace. You enter from this area and there is an imposing central parade ground with an impressive exterior staircase by which you ascend to the halls, among which the Baroque style Salón de Coronas and Galeria Dorada are notable.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced Armed Forces' placement of quarantine tents at the country's borders intended for Bosnian citizens returning home. Every Bosnian citizen arriving to the country is obligated to self-quarantine for 14 days starting from the day of arrival. Tents will be set up on the northern border with Croatia. Map of the Maladeta range, and the valleys and mountains surrounding it Maladeta rises to above sea level in the heart of the Pyrenees along the border between France and Spain. The summit is located northeast of the Province of Huesca and occupies the centre of the Montes Malditos. It is connected to Aneto to the east by a row of peaks called the Cresta del Medio (Pico Maldito, Pico del Medio, Pico de Coronas), which, along with the crest of the Portillones, give the appearance of being solid. The snow from its slopes feeds the headwaters of the Ésera and Ballibierna rivers, both on the south side.
The "fin de siecle" detailing and wall paintings present a material document of the 19th-century European immigration to Puerto Rico and the way of life of the landed bourgeois Criollo (Creole) class. In the architecture of Ponce of the period, elements of the Puerto Rican folk dwelling are integrated to Spanish and French-influenced classical detailing, thus resulting in a Ponce- Creole Architecture, of which the Zaldo de Nebot Residence at Calle Marina #27 is a prime example.Mariano G. Green Head with Inlay 1, 2007Bickerton continues to develop work within his established themes and iconography of tropical surrealism, green-headed characters, and assemblages. His work in 2006 and 2007 has taken the form of large-format digital prints and paintings with thick wooden frame constructions with various inlays. These elements can be seen in "Made's Warung" 2006 and "Green Head with Inlay 1" (2007). 2014 marked the start of a new series of Silver Ladies, which are manifested in a double portrait of two identical subjects, beautiful young Balinese women, nude except for a floral sash around their hips and coronas of tropical flowers.

Although White champions Irish indie music, he has been known to be harder on pop acts coming out of the country resulting in a controversial rant about Irish act Kodaline in which he likened them to "vanilla ice-cream". This has continued to earn the Last Mixed Tape a controversial reputation within the Irish music scene with White's reviews of The Coronas album 'Trust The Wire' and The Strypes album 'Spitting Image' being seen as unfair.. The Last Mixed Tape continued to earn a negative reputation following a review of the Script’s Freedom Child album, which was described as "toxic" and left "a bad taste".
While other churches of Anglican faith have since combined characteristics of both styles, the Holy Trinity Church appears to represent the clearest convergence, resulting in hybrid forms and elements rather than Spanish applique on a Gothic church. In addition, the church is a good example of construction in a period of cultural and architectural transition in Puerto Rico, using concrete as a main building material, but keeping with the centuries-old tradition of exposed wooden rafters and Spanish-tile roofing.Mariano G. The Toyota Carina line of large family cars was introduced in Japan in 1970. It was introduced in Europe in 1971, with A40 and A60 series subsequently appearing soon after their introductions in Japan. In 1984, the A60 series Carina was replaced in the European market by the "Carina II" - essentially a rebranding of the T150 series Toyota Corona launched the previous year in Japan, with some minor alterations to suit the European markets. This trend of Coronas rebadged as Carinas produced for the European market continued for two more generations, with the second Carina II in 1988 and the Carina E in 1992.

The central government and the entire Judiciary were ruled substantially by the judge. The king did not have possession of the land nor was he the repository of sovereignty since this was formally held by the Corona de Logu, a council of elders (representatives of the administrative districts - Curadorias) and high priests. They appointed the ruler and attributed the supreme power to him, while maintaining the power to ratify acts and agreements related to the entire kingdom. During su Collectu (coronation ceremony) in the capital, a representative of each curadoria, members of the high clergy, the castle lords, two representatives of the capital elected by delegates from jurados Coronas de curatoria, came together.
On August 2, 1941, Corona and Blanche Taff, a Jewish-American labor organizer he met during the a United Auto Workers drive to organize Los Angeles aviation workers, eloped to Yuma, Arizona. According to Corona, their cultural differences were an issue, but their union was a natural one given the circumstances: The couple moved into a house in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. When, during World War II, their neighbors supported the Japanese American internment, the Coronas moved to an apartment in the Mid-Wilshire district. They again found trouble when their new landlord complained about their inviting African American union members for visits, accusing them of attempting to integrate the neighborhood.
Salazar-Candal Residence (by Blas Silva) at Calle Isabel 53 The Salazar-Candal Residence located at Calle Isabel 53, but today occupied by the Museo de la Historia de Ponce is one of a group of stylistically eclectic houses built in Ponce between 1900 and 1915. Designed by architect Blas C. Silva in 1911, the building reflects an emerging tendency to incorporate freely disparate and competing architectural motifs. The facade is distinctly rendered in rococo and Moorish detailing to emphasize its bi-functional character as a home and an office respectively.Mariano G. With the establishment of the Commonwealth of the Philippines, the DANR was reorganized into the Department of Agriculture and Commerce. For nearly 45 years, the Weather Bureau remained active and famous in international expositions and scientific expeditions, and continued to be well known for its accurate typhoon forecasts and scientific works in the field of meteorology, geomagnetism, and astronomy. The first weather map in Far East (released in 1908 by Fr. Coronas) became an important tool in tropical cyclone forecasting thereon. The Bureau's published works on meteorology, terrestrial magnetism, and astronomy were well known and had later proven to be of great value to the American forces in the liberation of the Philippines from the Japanese during the Second World War.
Consider the non- convex polygon P shown in the figure to the right, which is formed from a regular hexagon by adding projections on two of its sides and matching indentations on three sides. The figure shows a tessellation consisting of 61 copies of P, one large infinite region, and four small diamond-shaped polygons within the fourth layer. The first through fourth coronas of the central polygon consist entirely of congruent copies of P, so its Heesch number is at least four. One cannot rearrange the copies of the polygon in this figure to avoid creating the small diamond-shaped polygons, because the 61 copies of P have too many indentations relative to the number of projections that could fill them.
The peak of Coronas, with Medio and Maldito, with Maladeta to the far right, taken from the summit of Aneto While not the highest peak in the local group of mountains, Maladeta was named for the entire group, which is also called Montes Malditos. It attracted the most interest from climbers, especially in the early nineteenth century, as its summit appears in the foreground from the natural entrance to the valley via the port of Benasque or when arriving from France. From this vantage point, the Cresta Portillones hides the true height of its eastern neighbour Aneto, which is taller and has more extensive glaciers. The first attempts to reach the peak were by Ramond in 1787, Ferrieres in 1801, and Louis Cordier in 1802.

Ponce High School is one of the five best school buildings built in Puerto Rico at the beginning of the 20th century and one of the most impressive. Between 1900 and 1925 over 3,000 schools were erected on the Island; only four included fully equipped auditoriums (not just assembly rooms) in their design: San Juan's Central High, Luis Muñoz Rivera School in Salinas, Arecibo's own Luis Muñoz Rivera School and Ponce High School. In that sense, these are the most representative examples of school building ideas being developed at the time in the United States by architects of renown, such as Haussander and Perkins of Chicago, Snyder of New York, Cooper of Boston and, especially, William B. Ittner of St. Louis.Mariano G. Coronas Castro, Certifying Official; Jorge Rigau, AIA, Form Preparer, Colacion. Inc.
Map of Aneto and the valleys and massifs that surround it. Aneto rises to above sea level in the centre of the Pyrenees mountain range. It lies entirely in Spain, just south of the main ridge of the Pyrenees and the border between France and Spain.. The peak lies in the north-east of the province of Huesca above the town of Benasque, Aneto occupies the eastern end of the Malditos Massif which primarily consists of a 6km long ridge, running from north-west to south east at over 3000m. The ridge connects Aneto towards the east with the more visible Maladeta peak, further to the west, and includes the Coronas peaks and Pico Maldito, which, together with the crest of the portillons, gives the massif its characteristic image.
On September 2015 it was confirmed that Atresmedia had cancelled Andreu Buenafuente's show on laSexta, En el aire, after two seasons, which meant the host was no longer linked to the media group. Shortly afterward his signing for Movistar+ was announced, as the platform aimed to sign a roster of well-known presenters to launch #0. By December 2015 the first details of Buenafuente's show on Movistar+ were revealed: it would be named Late Motiv and the host would continue to count on former En el aire collaborators Berto Romero, Roberto Enríquez (also known as "Bob Pop") and Javier Coronas, joined by comedian David Broncano and the actor Llimoo. During the second season, the cast was joined by Devon Knight, a fictional character played by Joaquín Reyes, who would do a weekly comedic news recap.

"…in the meanwhile, Sarriá's army continued retreating From Torre de Moncorvo, Mogadouro, Mirandela and Braganza … hastily reaching Zamora [Spain] on 3, 4 and 7 July, toward Ciudad Rodrigo." In Academia Portuguesa da História- Anais, 1986, p. 396.“In this offensive would participate the most distinguished of the Bourbon army, newly reformed; and, as officers, the brightest students graduated from the modern military academies established a few decades ago in Barcelona, Segovia and Madrid, following the dictates of the enlightened science of the time. In 1974, a symbolic year, a movement for the acceptance and usage of the language surfaced once again in Asturias. Based on the ideas of the Asturn association named Conceyu Bable regarding Asturian language and culture, an argument was devised for the acceptance and modernization of the language that led to the development of an official institution for establishing Asturian language norms. In 1980 the Academy of the Asturian Language was created with the approval of the Regional Council of Asturias (the transitory government body of Asturias).
Ornamental wellhead (puteal) (1st century AD) depicting a drunken Hercules as part of a Bacchic revel Votive altar dedicated to the Divine Fontes (plural) Fontus or Fons (plural Fontes, "Font" or "Source") was a god of wells and springs in ancient Roman religion. A religious festival called the Fontinalia was held on October 13 in his honor. Throughout the city, fountains and wellheads were adorned with garlands.Stephen L. Dyson, Rome: A Living Portrait of an Ancient City (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2010), p. 228. Described by Varro, De lingua latina 6.3: "The Fontanalia [is named after] Fontus, because it's his holiday (dies feriae); on account of him then they toss wreaths into fountains and garland puteals" (Fontanalia a Fonte, quod is dies feriae eius; ab eo tum et in fontes coronas iaciunt et puteos coronant).
The structure commonly known as the "Asilo de Ciegos" (Home of the Blind) was built between 1896 and 1897 to serve as hospital for the city of Ponce's military garrison. The Royal Spanish Engineering Corps constructed this building in the then popular neoclassic style which was common to the old San Juan area, but was not at the time prevalent in Ponce. This building, together with El Castillo (Ponce's Spanish military headquarters), Hospital Tricoche (Ponce's Municipal Hospital), and the Casa Alcaldía are the only remaining buildings representative of the Spanish Crown's interest in other areas of the Island besides San Juan.Mariano G. The designer of the official Tres Coronas logo was Hashim. The first song they made with the official name of the group was "Para El Futuro", composed and performed by Reychesta and P.N.O, produced by Shakim, this song was going to be part of the album "Playero 41: Past, Present & Future (Part 2)", from 1999 (initially performed only by Reychesta), but due to the delay in recording the song, it was finally part of the group's first mixtape. And the first song that the three members of the group recorded together was "El Trato". At the end of 2001 they had their first two concerts in Colombia, the first one that was presented was "Rap al Parque" (where they know the group La Etnnia) and the second one was in the "Coliseo el Campín".
In 2004 Reychesta and P.N.O traveled to Puerto Rico to make an album produced by DJ Playero, unfortunately this project was never completed. Rocca and P.N.O were preparing a new album, after "La Música Es Mi Arma", which was canceled because Rocca and P.N.O decided to pursue solo careers. For that album among the songs that were already recorded there was one with Joell Ortiz (from Brooklyn), which was never named, another with Nach (from Spain) called "Perro No Come Perro" produced by DJ Joaking, from which Nach released a version only in 2016, for the production called "Cazadores De Instantes: La Mixtape". Valles T, twice winner of Red Bull Batalla De Gallos 2016 and 2018, also champion of "Pura Calle" 2019, said he grew up listening to Tres Coronas.
He has also done animation work for MTV Latin America, MTV Japan as well as Nickelodeon Latin America, Fox Latin America, and Once TV. From 1999 to 2002 he edited the Zonaste graphics section of the Zona de Obras magazine, and he did a series of billboards for Nike. However, most of his work is related to music, especially to the rock scene in Mexico City, creating flyers, CD covers and typographs. The main reason for this is his love of music, integrating himself into this world through bands and nightclubs soon after he arrived to Mexico. Musical groups with which he has worked include Los Straitjackets, Los Cavernarios, Los Twangers, Los Coronas, Twin Tones, Los Explosivos and Matorralman, designing about eighty CD covers, and doing all the promotional material for the band Lost Acapulco.

Contact had been made with internationally recognised producers such as Ethan Johns, with the band hoping to work with producers who had worked with acts such as Kings of Leon or Ryan Adams. However, following the collapse of a bank elsewhere, the company pulled out of the deal, putting the debut album of The Chapters in jeopardy. The band were saved by fellow band The Coronas, with contact being made by Turlough Gunawardhana with lead singer Danny O'Reilly prompting a meeting with their record label 3ú Records who signed them immediately. Signed by 3ú Records, the lead single, titled "Videotapes", from their debut album was released on 1 May 2009 and launched at The Academy music venue in Dublin the previous night. The Chapters released their debut album Perfect Stranger on 3ú Records, on 5 June 2009.
Photo of the Maladeta massif with names of its peaks. Although the valley to the north is the source of the Ésera river, which flows west and then south, the northern slopes of Aneto and its glacier drain into a sinkhole in the Plan de Aigualluts and flow underground to the east where they resurface to empty into the Aran Valley and the Garonne river, flowing north into France and the Atlantic Ocean. The waters of the western and southern sides, flow into the Coronas and Llosas lakes respectively before draining separately into the river Ballibierna, which flows into the Esera, then the Cinca before joining the Ebro and flowing to the Mediterranean. Thus although Aneto does not lie on the main ridge of the Pyrenees, it does lie on the watershed between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
The Television Companion Marsh herself said in a 2003 interview for the Loose Cannon telesnap reconstruction that she would "definitely not" have continued in the role past Master Plan, even had it been offered to her. A Production Diary compiled by David J. Howe, Mark Stammers and Stephen James Walker from contemporary memos and correspondence notes that producer John Wiles and story editor Donald Tosh employed Sara Kingdom as a "short-term companion...[to] be killed off at the end of [The Daleks' Master Plan]". She was billed as "'Sara Kingdom" in the episodes "The Traitors" to "Coronas of the Sun", but her surname was dropped from the billing in her final six episodes and thus she was billed as "Sara" from "The Feast of Steven" to "Destruction of Time". Companion Steven Taylor is similarly billed simply as "Steven" throughout The Daleks' Master Plan.

Rotation is one of the primary determinants of the magnetic dynamo, but this point could not be demonstrated by observing the Sun: the Sun's magnetic activity is in fact strongly modulated (due to the 11-year magnetic spot cycle), but this effect is not directly dependent on the rotation period. Solar flares usually follow the solar cycle. CORONAS-F was launched on 31 July 2001 to coincide with the 23rd solar cycle maximum. The solar flare of 29 October 2003 apparently showed a significant degree of linear polarization (> 70% in channels E2 = 40–60 keV and E3 = 60–100 keV, but only about 50% in E1 = 20–40 keV) in hard X-rays, but other observations have generally only set upper limits. This is a false- color, 3-layer composite from the TRACE observatory: the blue, green, and red channels show the 17.1 nm, 19.5 nm, and 28.4 nm, respectively.
Upon returning to Toronto he attended York University to study an aleatory range of interests including music, politics, theology, and architecture; eventually graduating with a degree in English Literature. Sometime around 2003 and at the urging of two of his literary heroes and mentors, Austin Clarke and Barry Callaghan respectively, Brooks returned to music, this time with a Taylor 615 acoustic guitar. In 2005 he released, No Mean City - his first of seven thematic albums noted as much for Brooks’ invented and percussive guitar style as his lyrics’ temerity, dark humour, and obsessive interest in violence, love, paradox and the unity of opposites. Brooks’ songs are universal in theme and particular in Canadian subject matter. His songs are often peopled by morally ambiguous and non-binary souls - in his words, ‘those on the outskirts of approval.’ He writes in a variety of forms including linear ballads, list songs, sonnets, ghazals, cyclical coronas, spoken word, and, at times, a more abstract and non-linear form of storytelling.
The Crowner John Mysteries are a series of novels by Bernard Knight following the fictional life of Sir John de Wolfe, a former Crusading knight appointed to the office of Keeper of the Pleas of the King's Crown (custos placitorum coronas), i.e. the King's Crowner or Coroner, for the county of Devon. Crowners were appointed in 1194, during the reign of Richard the Lionheart, in every county to check on the corruption of sheriffs, but also to raise as much money as possible towards the payment of the loans that covered the huge ransom after the king's capture in Austria on his return from the Third Crusade. As Crowner, Sir John has to investigate all sudden deaths, murders, rapes, assaults, fires, wrecks and catches of royal fish, as well as trying to drive as much custom (through fines and taking of property owned by convicted criminals) as possible into the royal treasury, instead of the old manor and shire courts.
The first floor and main entrance were restored to their original shape. Since then alterations to the structure have been minimal and mostly due to new regulations by the Department of Health or to serve the community better. The main alteration to the structure was the addition of a new emergency entrance on the southern side on the Bertoly Street facade. The addition did not contribute to the value of the property but neither did it hinder the structure's architectural integrity since it was designed and built with a compatible architectural facade. This was also true of the 1928 second floor, which was clearly separated from the 1885 construction by means of visually acceptable wall. Hospital Tricoche served the Ponce community since 1878. "In its 121-year history the hospital gave the best free-of-cost medical attention available to the poor and needy in the city of Ponce."Mariano G. Coronas Castro, Certifying Official; Felix J. del Campo, State Historian; and Jorge Ortiz Colom, State Architect, Puerto Rico Historic Preservation Office. (San Juan, Puerto Rico) April 7, 1987.
