Steve 'N' Seagulls live at Wacken Open Air 2015 Steve 'n' Seagulls is a Finnish country band, playing bluegrass versions of well-known hard rock and metal songs. The band became known in the summer of 2014 with the publication of videos on YouTube. Especially popular was the band's version of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, which received over 100 million views on YouTube. The band's debut album Farm Machine was released through Spinefarm Records on May 8, 2015.

Duncan created a new style of idiosyncratic bagpipe music. He also incorporated the bagpipes into a rendition of AC/DC's Thunderstruck. His work was heard at T in the Park, Celtic Connections, Celtic Colours in Canada, the Lorient festival in Brittany, where he was the two-time winner of the MacAllan Trophy and the Fleadh Cheoil in Ireland. He worked as a refuse collector and was known to scribble compositions on cigarette packets whilst at work.

Curry started out in small roles in film, including The Castle and The Wog Boy. He then went to have leading roles in film, such as The Nugget, Take Away and Thunderstruck. Although financed and controlled by Supersoft, run by Peter Calver and Pearl Wellard, a minority stake was held by Martin Maynard. At this time the company employed Darryl Still, who produced a number of successful releases for the BBC Micro, such as Psycastria and Thunderstruck, written by former members of the Icon Software team in North East England. Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (formerly known as Stoopid Monkey), is an American production company and animation studio, formed by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich, John Harvatine IV, and Eric Towner. It was established in 2011 following the partnership of Stoopid Monkey and Buddy Systems Studios. It is one of the producers of the Adult Swim animated television series Robot Chicken and Hot Streets as well as SuperMansion on the Sony streaming service Sony Crackle and Buddy Thunderstruck on Netflix. The company was founded in 2005 as Stoopid Monkey and relaunched under its current name in 2011.

The Melbourne Storm have a number of club songs that are either played over the PA system or exclusively sung by the players at each game. The main song, which was written by Jon Mol and Phil Wall, is called "We Are the Storm" and is played over the public address system following each home victory. In addition, AC/DC song "Thunderstruck" is also played at every home game as the team enter the stadium. Lastly, after each victory, the Storm players also sing "We are the mighty Melbourne Storm" in the dressing rooms.

Pre- planning for the set-up began six months before the event, while the construction structures and equipment inside the stadium began two weeks before the event. It is estimated that 100 trucks were used to deliver equipment, in comparison to the 12 semi-trucks used in a regular WWE show. The official theme songs for the event were "I Made It" by Kevin Rudolf, "Be Yourself" by Audioslave, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, and "The Show" by Since October. "Ain't No Grave (Gonna Hold This Body Down)" by Johnny Cash was also used to promote the Undertaker-Michaels match.

Tribute bands that featured were:- Pearl - The Janis Joplin Show, Shed Zepplin, The Australian Queen Tribute Show, Absolutely Live! The Doors Show, Thunderstruck, Appetite For Destruction & Kisstroyer. The Motor City Music Festival will again be on during the labour day weekend in 2015 and The Tribute Show is part of the show again with the added bonus of host, Bobby Miller hosting the day from not only the main stage but on 2 stages and with more tribute acts. Another move towards marketing the show has been an approved Australian Trademark for "The Tribute Show" which was officially granted in 2014.

By 2009 Glastonbudget included a total of five stages and over the three day event the Main Stage, the Campsite Stage, the new Acts Stage, the Charnie Arny and the Bus Stage. New tribute acts included the Kins of Leon and Blurb. The festival also featured "The Scrap Metal Tour" composed of Ireland Maiden, Metallitia, Rubber Plants, ThunderStruck and User Illusion playing until midnight on the Saturday. Also in 2009 the festival featured Chesney Hawkes who had a number one single in the UK and a top ten hit in the US with the One and Only.

The Development Band is led by Pipe Major Robyn McKay and Drum Seargant Callum Edwards. In 2010 they recorded the official soundtrack for the handover of the Commonwealth Games from Delhi to Glasgow. In 2012 they performed for Queen Elizabeth on her receipt of the keys to the city of Perth In 2017, the band made pipe band history by being the first full pipe band ensemble to perform the infamous "Thunderstruck" suite by Gordon Duncan, at their concert of the same name. Former members of the band include BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year finalist Pipe Major Ross Miller.

The group has generated controversy for profanity in cover art, song titles and lyrics; for the behaviour of members, on and off stage. In July 2004, radio 2Day FM hosts Jackie O and Kyle Sandilands (themselves no strangers to controversy) threatened the band with "black-listing" from the Austereo network after a festival performance in Darwin, Australia in a tit for tat. The band had played AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" over the top of Jackie O's effort to explain her late appearance to the audience as the delay caused a further cut into the band's set time.

In 2003, Novakovic played Randa in the ABC mini-series Marking Time, a role which won her an AFI Award for "Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Television Drama or Comedy". As an actress, Novakovic's film credits in Australia include Blackrock (1996), Strange Fits of Passion (1998), The Monkey's Mask (1999), Thunderstruck (2004), Solo (2005) and the Serbian films Optimisti (2005) and Skinning (2010). From 2007 to 2009, she played Tippi in TV series Satisfaction for Showtime Australia. She also appeared in Drag Me to Hell (2009), Edge of Darkness (2009), Devil (2010), Burning Man (2011), and Generation Um... (2012).

He has written for many brands including the NFL, NBA, Microsoft, M&M;'s, Nascar, Detroit Pistons, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, documentaries including Lincoln's Last Day, The Real Mad Men of Advertising, The Spy in the Hanoi Hilton; and for programs such as Netflix's Buddy Thunderstruck, BBC's Special Forces:Ultimate Hell Week and CBeebies Tinpo. Additional arrangements have featured in The Flash, Sleepy Hollow and Man in the High Castle. He extensively works for APM Music in the United States.

Belle Elmore – wife of Dr. Crippen Hawthorne was a close friend of Cora Henrietta Crippen (née Corrine Turner and stage name Belle Elmore), the estranged wife and murder victim of Hawley Harvey Crippen. She and Elmore were members of the Music Hall Ladies' Guild. Police first heard of Elmore's disappearance from her friend, strongwoman Kate Williams, better known as Vulcana, but began to take the matter more seriously when asked to investigate by Hawthorne and her husband, who were personal friends of Scotland Yard Superintendent Frank Froest.Larson, Erik Thunderstruck – New York: Crown Publishers (2006) pg 347=348 They were able to prove that, despite Crippen's assertion to the contrary, his wife had not died in America.

After the signing, the band came back to the studio to finish the recording. On May 19, 2005, Down Low was released independently in Israel, and then on June 6, 2005, it was released internationally by Roadrunner Records, after which the band toured Europe intensively to promote it. Beginning March 2007, They toured with Sepultura supporting their Dante XXI tour, supporting Lamb of God and Soulfly on their German tours and Chimaira on their UK tour, and through 2007 performed in such events as With Full Force festival in Germany and Planet Music in Austria. They were joined by Sepultura guitarist Andreas Kisser a few times for a performance of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

Scene 1: The restaurant at Ville-d'Avray The lovers are at a little outdoor restaurant near Paris, and still very happy, as they sing together in another duet. There is an artists' dinner at the place, and as the diners arrive there is more lively chorusing and an imitation of a wandering band. By a chance word from Caoudal, Jean learns for the first time that his adored Fanny is none other than Sapho, the notorious model, and he is told something of her past. This lineup played in Montreal on January 10, Ottawa on January 18 and four shows in Scandinavia in April and May 2014, billed together with the band Psyche. In November 2014, Rational Youth paired with Psyche to record and issue a cover of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck", a collaborative single that credited both bands.

In the video, which is reminiscent of the Mallet-directed "Thunderstruck" from 1990, lead guitarist Angus Young is seen playing his Gibson SG on a wrecking ball, which destroys a building. "Cover You in Oil" features a typically licentious lyric ("I see a young girl in the neighbourhood...I must confess I'd like to run my hands up and down her legs...").

Morassi first appeared on the television series Neighbours in 1996. She would later appear in BeastMaster, Stingers and The Secret Life of Us in the early 2000s before making the transition to films in 2002 alongside an all-star cast including Bryan Brown, Toni Collette, Sam Neill, Sam Worthington, and John Goodman in Dirty Deeds which saw her nominated for a Best Supporting Actor award by the Film Critics Circle of Australia. Morassi has also appeared in Darkness Falls, Travelling Light, Strange Bedfellows, Thunderstruck, The Illustrated Family Doctor, and Josh Jarman before getting her international break in the Australian box-office success Wolf Creek, which screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. She played backpacker Kristy Earl, for which she was nominated for an Australian Film Institute award for Best Supporting Actress 2005.

Planet X eventually was licensed and produced for Disney XD by DHX Media in Vancouver and Disney and premiered on July 13, 2013. In January 2012, American Greetings Properties and Exim Licensing Group international licensing agent signed a Holly Hobbie publishing deal with V & R Editoras for most of Latin America and the Caribbean. AG Properties had licensed Lion Forge Comics the Care Bears, Madball and Packages from Planet X for titles under their Roar Comics all-ages imprint for release in late 2014. On October 6, 2015, American Greetings changed the unit's name to American Greetings Entertainment as an indication of a shift in focus to the Care Bears and additional multi- character and entertainment properties like the recently co-created Buddy Thunderstruck stop motion animation show for Netflix.

John Williams attributes his piece Tree Song for Violin and Orchestra in a large part to Hu. The first movement of the piece is entitled "Dr. Hu and the Meta-Sequoia". He described the following experience in his note for the premiere in 2000: > During our stroll we casually paused in front of a large tree that I hadn't > looked at closely enough to recognize immediately. By common agreement, it is the best Christmas pageant the town has ever had.

Taught by Henk Badings, Olivier Messiaen and others, and in his youth influenced by Béla Bartók, De Leeuw was a teacher at the University of Amsterdam and later professor of composition and electronic music at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam from 1959 to 1986, at which institute he served as director from 1971–73. Michael has scored independent films and major motion pictures including composing, arranging, recording, and production work on Bram Stoker's Dracula (Special Edition), The Outsiders : The Complete Novel, the Apocalypse Now Documentary "Heart of Darkness", and The Godfather trilogy FFC restoration special edition for legendary film producer/director Francis Ford Coppola and the award-winning documentary Romeo is Bleeding. He has composed original music and score for TV shows including the Netflix original series Buddy Thunderstruck and Care Bears: Unlock the Magic (Boomerang Network/Cartoon Network).
