In 2015, Hollitzer started to publish Belles-lettres. Its first publication in this field was dedicated to the Serbian-Sephardic novelist Gordana Kuić and her Scent of Rain in the Balkans, thitherto not published in German language. This book was followed by the bright drama Don Juan turns sixty by well-known Austrian littérateur Robert Schindel. Both titles were presented at the Leipzig Book Fair and with readings in Vienna.

In 1624, a thitherto obscure Cambridge scholar, Richard Montagu, obtained royal permission to publish A New Gagg for an Old Goose. The book was framed as a rebuttal of a Catholic critique of the Church of England. In response, Montagu argued that the Calvinist positions objected to were held only by a small, Puritan minority in the Church of England, and that the majority of clergy in the Church of England rejected high Calvinism.

Raymond was dead by 1267, when his son is first recorded as "of Béziers", the family name. Throughout his life and career after his surrender in 1210, Raymond always called himself simply "Trencavel" in his own charters, a practice not thitherto common in his family. In the late 1190s, Constantine II of Logudoro and his son Comita III, allies of Genoa, warred with Peter, who was under the protection of William I of Cagliari. Comita eventually sued for peace with Pisa and abandoned his claims over Arborea in exchange for the castle of Goceano, held thitherto by William.

In 1296, the Venetian admiral Ruggero Morosini razed Phocaea. In 1302, Zaccaria was named admiral by Philip of France, in which capacity he conquered the island of Chios (1304), which had thitherto been in the hands of Moslem corsairs. At first, he gave the government of the isle over to his nephew Tedisio. In 1304, he also occupied Samos and Cos, which were almost completely depopulated, and the emperor conceded him sovereignty over those islands and Chios for two years, under Byzantine suzerainty.

When Lethuc died and was replaced by Aldihoc, the Lombards took a step towards institutional stability. Under the Lethings, too, the Lombards, who had thitherto wandered around northern Europe, migrated south to the Danube and Pannonia. In 510, the reigning Lething, Tato, was displaced by his nephew, Wacho, and thereafter until 546 a cadet branch of the original house ruled. Under the last dynasts, the Lombards became a power in terms of their threat to the Byzantine Empire on par with the Ostrogoths and Franks.

The LFM was the product of intense research into the archives of the Crown in support of its claims.Bisson 1985, 26. From 1171 to 1177 a review of the comital archives was found necessary for asserting the Alfonso's rights in the County of Carcassonne, which may have inspired archival reform. In 1178, 144 comital charters that had thitherto been in the hands of Ramon de Gironella, the count's vicar in Girona, were handed over to Guillem de Bassa; many of these later appeared in the LFM.

Immediately after he left, Lambert and Nominoe defeated the garrisons and captured the new Count of Nantes, Amalric. On 7 March 851, Nominoe died near Vendôme while ravaging the Nantais and Anjou; he was buried at Redon Abbey. By his wife Argentaela, Nominoe left a son named Erispoe, who succeeded him. Nominoe was thus the founder of a political tradition in Brittany which had not thitherto existed; though his charters did not mimic Carolingian ones, his successors would imitate the legitimising Carolingian language in theirs.

He sabotaged the rebels' boats in an attempt to drown them in the Rhone, but Guntram Boso reached Avignon, where Mummolus was staying, and besieged it. At the siege of Avignon, Mummolus displayed great tactical knowledge, diverting water from the river to a moat and digging holes in the bed of the moat to make it impossible to cross for the besieging force. Guntram's nephew, Childebert II, sent down an army which relieved Avignon and rescued Mummolus. Gregory of Tours accused Mummolus of subjecting many Franks who had thitherto been free to taxation.

Practically, the colonisation of French Indochina, Dutch East Indies, British Malaya and Burma brought pressure from the colonisers for fixed boundaries to their possessions. When Tikhon died in 1925, the Soviet authorities forbade patriarchal elections to be held. Patriarchal Locum Tenens (acting Patriarch) Metropolitan Sergius (Stragorodsky, 1887–1944), going against the opinion of a part of the Church's parishes, in 1927 issued an Appeal to the faithful, widely known as The Declaration of Metropolitan Sergius, which proclaimed loyalty towards the Soviet state and condemned political dissent within the Church. The Appeal made it clear that its purpose was "legalisation" of the Patriarchal Church's structures, namely The Temporary Patriarchal Synod. The legalisation had been granted by the authorities shortly thitherto.

It is not unlikely, however, that he desired to usurp the imperial title which the kings of León had thitherto carried. Adnams Brewery Although once home to a number of different industries, Southwold's economy nowadays is mainly based on services, particularly hotels, holiday accommodation, catering and tourism. With the surrounding areas largely given over to agriculture, the town is an important commercial centre for the area, with a number of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, and a market on Mondays and Thursdays. However, there has been a marked trend in recent years for retailing chains, including food and beverages, clothing and stationery shops, to take over thitherto independent retail premises. Adnams Brewery is located in Southwold, and is the town's largest single employer.

In mid-January 1213, William led the forces of Massa, Pistoia, the anti-Visconti faction in Pisa, and his father-in-law's militia to victory near Massa over the forces of Lucca supported by the Visconti under Ubaldo I, and by the deposed Pisan podestà Goffredo Musto. It was the greatest military accomplishment of William's career and is recounted in the Ritmo lucchese. He assumed control of Massa, which thitherto been in the hands of relatives, and forced Pisa to accept four rectors, one of which was a Visconti. Late 1213 or early 1214, William died.

Oral traditions and recorded history portray the Kula people to be very old and well established for a long time in their present domain. Felix Mendelssohn painted by Friedrich Wilhelm Schadow in 1834 Alan Sanders reviewed the album in Gramophone in October 1994, comparing it with what he considered to be the best recording of the work to have appeared thitherto, a Teldec disc conducted by Kurt Masur.Mendelssohn, Felix: A Midsummer Night's Dream, cond. Kurt Masur, Teldec CD, 2292-46323-2 Kathleen Battle, Frederica von Stade and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus had all sung "with great distinction", he wrote. As Praecentor of the college he directed the chapel choir. He died on 14 September 1993 near his home in Curdridge near Botley in Hampshire. Amongst other activities at Caius, Tranchell became the patron, at the request of, predominantly, members of the college choir, of a dining society at Caius named the Titus Oates Society as a sort of antidote to other college clubs. He was asked by those wishing to form another dining club for a suitable name and suggested, with his frequent cheekiness, that of the most reprehensible member of Caius thitherto: Titus Oates.

The creation of a duchy of Alsace corresponded with the creation of counties in the region. Thitherto counties had not been found in most of Austrasia, but by the eighth century they were common in the south. The counts of Alsace were known in contemporary Latin texts by the title (plural ), which may have indicated a slightly different office from that of the traditional (plural ), which was used in the more Romanised parts of Gaul. Alsace about 1000, divided into Nordgau and Sundgau Under Gundoin's successors, the famous Etichonids, the counties -- Alsace was already generally divided into a Nordgau and Sundgau -- were brought under direct ducal control.

The Irish Council Bill (or Irish Councils Bill; long title A Bill to provide for the Establishment and functions of an Administrative Council in Ireland and for other purposes connected therewith) was a bill introduced and withdrawn from the UK Parliament in 1907 by the Campbell-Bannerman administration. It proposed the devolution of power, without Home Rule, to Ireland within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. A partly elected Irish Council would take control of many of the departments thitherto administered by the Dublin Castle administration, and have limited tax-raising powers. The bill was introduced by Augustine Birrell, the newly appointed Chief Secretary for Ireland, on 7 May 1907.

At the beginning of the story, protagonist 'Jon' is an 'Enforcer' (a soldier of the Conglomerate) disgraced by a genocide permitted by himself, assigned as bodyguard to 'Samantha', a Conglomerate official's stepdaughter, who leads an expedition to Anomaly in hope of peaceful first contact, only to be foiled when a native bacterium destroys most of her followers' machinery. The expedition are thence captured by Muties and recaptured by the People. When ordered either to challenge the warlord 'Caderyn', or swear loyalty thereto, Jon challenges and later vanquishes him. He is then informed by prophetess 'Dagda' that the Muties, under their new leader 'Erebos', intend annihilation of their neighbors, and requests Jon himself to unite the native species, thitherto constantly at war, against them.

By 900, these districts had become de facto independent states, their ruling kings still titled as iudices or ' ("judges"') after their imperial civil servant predecessors. The first capital city for the Giudicato of Logudoro was ancient Torres (now Porto Torres), but it was exposed to Arab attacks, and so the seat of the judgeship was transferred first to Ardara, and finally to Sassari. Basilica di Sant'Antioco di Bisarcio, figured capital with a portrait of Judge Barisone II of Torres Logudoro only began to emerge from the fog of history during the reign of Barisone I from about 1038 to 1073. He brought Western monasticism to the island by requesting monks from Abbot Desiderius of Montecassino and in this he was supported by both Pope Alexander II and Godfrey the Bearded, Margrave of Tuscany, though the archdiocese of Pisa, thitherto chief religious influence on the island, opposed it.
