Most of the Mizos and their clans had completely migrated to their present location by the third decade of the 18th century. The United States mirrored the global trend with a sharp increase in syphilis during the 1990s up till the present. The United States saw a big decrease in the number of cases in the 1950s, with only around 6500 cases were reported per year, which was statistically about what other countries were seeing at the time. The origins of the Doulab Catholic Cemetery go back to the middle of the 19th century. In 1855, the young Dr. Louis André Ernest Cloquet, personal physician to Nasser al-Din Shah, died and was buried in a field situated in the Tehran district of Doulab, close to the Armenian cemetery. This patch of land was to become the burial site for all Catholics of Tehran, foreigners and locals. Dr. Cloquet’s tomb, bearing a small brick cupola, can be seen up till the present day. From the time of their arrival in Tehran in 1862, the Lazarists, being the only Catholic priests in town, took charge of the cemetery.

Maharajkumar Indrajitsinhji's two sons are Indra Vikram Singh and Indra Vadan Singh. Indra Vikram Singh is a well-known writer and publisher, and has authored ten books, nine of them on the game of cricket, and one entitled 'A Maharaja's Turf' on the triumph of his grandfather Maharaja Vijaysinhji in the Epsom Derby of 1934. Among his other books are several on the cricket World Cup, and 'Don's Century' which is a biography of the legendary Sir Donald Bradman and also a panorama of batting from the 1860s till the present times. Indra Vadan Singh has inherited his father's artistic talents, and runs his own tea blending, marketing and export business.

After a brief 1-year ministry between 1981–1982, Udayakumar again became a Pastor from 1985 onwards pastoring Churches of the South Andhra Lutheran Church established by the Hermannsburg Mission in the districts of Chittoor and Nellore. In 1987, Udaykumar was Exchange Pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran Mission in Lower Saxony from 1987 to 1992Hugald Grafe, Kirche unter Dalits, Adivasi und Kastenleuten in Südindien, LIT Verlag, Berlin, 2013, p.129. and then joined the Gurukul Lutheran Theological College to take up a teaching assignment. In 2011, Udayakumar was made Principal of the College, a position which he has been occupying till the present times.

At the same time the oldest streets evolved and they established the development base for the town till the present day. In the 19th century, the old Renaissance and Baroque housing and buildings associated with trade were replaced by the now historical architecture and the new town centre acquired its present appearance. In 1863, the main part of the future town park was planted, and the removal of the old fortification together with the construction of the railway determined the regional development of the town. Railway connections enabled the development of industry and further established Koprivnica as a leading centre of the Podravina region.

Headstones in the Jewish Cemetery The Jewish cemetery, one of the oldest in Serbia, has been the burial place since the arrival of Jews in the Austrian Zemun (1739) till the present time. The stone memorials have characteristic shapes, from votive plates to modern and representative, such as the tombstone to businessman Gabriel Polgar (1915). They bear family names such as: Brandajs, Levi, Salamon, Koen, Goldštajn, Hiršl, Hajm, Šer, Veksler, etc. Оtо Bihali-Merin, a writer and a publicist was buried there in 1993, his brother Pavle in 1941, an industrialist Маavro Binder in 1927, Моses Albahari in 1897 and a medical doctor Isac Isarah in 1912.

The clock tower of the Applied Science University building Quranic schools were the only source of education in Bahrain prior to the 20th century; such schools were primarily dedicated to the study of the Qur'an. The first modern school to open in the country was a missionary elementary school set up in 1892 (according to one account) in Manama by the Reformed Church in America, with the school's syllabus comprising English, Mathematics and the study of Christianity. Leading merchants in the country sent their children to the school until it was closed down in 1933 due to financial difficulties. The school reopened some years later under the name of Al Raja School where it operates till the present day.

However, the community in Putti, to the present day, did not go along with the rest of the Abayudaya and is holding out till the present day in the hope to receive orthodox-accepted conversion. An interesting latest development occurred in 2012 with the possible recognition of the Putti Abayudaya by Israel and the Orthodox Jewish world, thanks to the efforts of Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, founding Chief Rabbi of Efrat and Chancellor of the Ohr Torah Stone institute, in coordination with PVAO (Putti Village Assistance Organization). A new mikveh (ritual bath) has been built and fundraising efforts are in process to finish a new synagogue. The community is governed by an elected board, currently chaired by Tarphon Kamya.

Salman Khan has collaborated with his father Salim Khan in Patthar Ke Phool and Majhdhaar, and with Javed Akhtar in only one film – Marigold (2007), in his three-decade long career. Javed Akhtar, on the other hand, has worked in all the films produced by his children Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar's Excel Entertainment. Javed Akhtar started writing lyrics for films beginning with Silsila in 1981 and since 1982 has written lyrics for around 80 films and scripts for over 20 films till the present times. Javed and Salim were not even on talking terms after their split till 2012, when their original script Zanjeer was being remade into a 2013 film of the same name by producer Sumeet Mehra.

The history of Odia literature has been mapped by historians along the following stages, Old Odia (900–1300 CE), Early Middle Odia (1300–1500 CE), Middle Odia (1500–1700 CE), Late Middle Odia (1700–1850 CE) and Modern Odia (from 1850 CE till the present). But this crude categorization could not skillfully draw the real picture on account of development and growth of Odia literature. Here, we split the total periods into different stages such as Age of Charya Literature, Age of Sarala Das, Age of Panchasakha, Age of Upendra Bhanja, Age of Radhanath, Age of Satyabadi, Age of Marxism or Pragati yuga, Age of Romanticism or Sabuja Yuga, Post Independent Age. The beginnings of Odia poetry coincide with the development of Charya Sahitya, the literature thus started by Mahayana Buddhist poets.

As with how exploring further narratives helps to give a fuller picture of secret societies in colonial Singapore, likewise to want to know about Singapore's history, in this case the colonial period, not knowing about secret societies which played a significant role in society then is akin to missing out on a big part of the colonial period history. Furthermore, the legacy of secret societies does not end with the colonial period, but carries on till the present day. While secret societies today have changed in many ways, and are far less prominent as during much of the colonial period, their existence has been of a continued permanence. Secret societies are therefore something in which we cannot ignore, and regardless of their reputation, will continue to be part of what constitutes Singapore as we know it.

Just before Wilson's appointment, M K Wong, a graduate of Western Reserve University (USA), commenced limited psychological functions as a "pupil psychologist" for a short period before leaving for further clinical training at the Institute of Psychiatry, London. Upon his engagement, Wilson established the basic framework for the development of a psychological service in four main areas: # to provide psychological and clinical services in the medical, social welfare and educational fields; # to plan a programme of basic psychological research into social and cultural influences; # to organize formal courses in psychology for psychiatric nurses and other professional staff whose work brings them into contact with psychological problems; and # to make available professional advice to Government bodies, for example, on selection and promotion methods. From the outset, Wilson's framework for the establishment of a psychological service, although within the mental health programme, was quite far-reaching, covering medical, social welfare and educational fields as well as providing advisory services to government bodies. These became the platforms upon which psychological services were expanded and delivered to many government bodies and other organizations till the present time.

Regarding his ambition in films and theatre he knew he couldn't afford himself to keep a regular band, so he decided to invite highly skilled and established rock and jazz musicians. A large number of performers took part in the album, but there were three of them that formed the core of the future long term partnership in touring and recording studio albums: Ivan Lechev – the guitar player of the Grammy Awarded band FSB, Stoyan Yankoulov – a jazz, rock and ethno drum player, and Vesselin Vesselinov (Eko) – bass-guitar and double- bass. (Later on, in 1999 Miroslav Ivanov - a young and talented guitarist joined the band to stay till the present.) The music style of the first records was a mixture between alternative rock, new wave and ethno jazz music. But there was an unexpected 'factor' that finally took the lead and cast its mighty shadow over the other songs: a musical joke which Valdobrev created together with friend and colleague Kamen Donev on their way back from a theatre tour in Vienna.

The first documented bishop of Cattaro was Paulus, who participated in the Council of Chalcedon in 451. The next mention of the Diocese of Cattaro was 530, when it is mentioned as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Salona (Solin). The late Antiquity era, relatively the early Christian origin of the bishopric of Cattaro, is testified by an early Christian baptistery from the late 5th or early 6th centuries, discovered in an archeological examination of the Church of Saint Maria of Rijeka (Crkva sv. Marije od Rijeke) following the 1979 earthquake where the probable foundations of the first cathedral in Cattaro was discovered with remains, such as the cathedra and ciborium from the 6th century. John, a bishop of Cattaro, was certainly mentioned in the acts of the Second Council of Nicaea in 787. John was also mentioned in 809 in epigraphical inscriptions found in Cattaro. Bishops of Cattaro were mentioned in Ecclesiastical Assembly of Spalatum in 925 and 928, during the reign of King Tomislav. Only a fragmental list of the bishops before the 11th century were preserved. Afterward, since 1090 till the present day, a complete list has existed, beginning with bishop Grimoald, of Lombard origin.

After the 21st Faatemi Imam Maulaana at-Taiyeb went into seclusion in 528 AH/1134 CE from Egypt, his deputy, legatee and vicegerent, who is called the Da'i (a spiritual head or a missionary working on the divine command of Imam in seclusion), started a religious mission in the name of Imam at-Taiyeb for the purpose of self- searching and purity wherever Isma'ili-Taiyebi people were staying. This mission came to be known as "ad-Da'wat ul-Haadiyat ut-Taiyebiyah-الدعوۃ الهادیۃ الطیبیۃ"Rightly Guided Mission of the last Islamic Prophet Mohammad and his progeny till the present Da'i Saiyedna Haatim Zakiyuddin saheb meaning "The Rightly Guided Mission of Imam at-Taiyeb". This religious mission continued in Yemen between 532-974 AH (1138-1567 AD), from the first Da'i Saiyedna Zoeb till the 24th Da'i Saiyedna Yusuf having official language Arabic. During this period, as the time demanded and need arose, many Waali- Mullas (the representatives of Da'i who in his absence is entitled to do all religious activities) were appointed to teach in the Madrasah Taiyebiyah all aspects of the religious and social knowledge to the people.

While most of his novels have a well-defined hard scientific background, Gromov's stated main interest is social science fiction: I still have to tell a couple of words about my works — not about each one, but about all of them. Most of the things I wrote can be considered social science fiction (not in the sense of "capitalism-socialism" — this topic does not interest me). The recipe of it, worked out by H. G. Wells, has not changed till the present day and looks like this: you take a socium (limited number of people is better — easier to work) and do some ugly thing to it, and then you sit and look at the consequences... Two of Gromov's books focus on a theme of power in a social context: his novella Saint Vitus Minuet (Menuet Svyatogo Vitta, 1997), deals with an emerging society; the novel Master of the Void discusses the transition of a peaceful nation in harmony with nature to an aggressive industrial dictatorship. The latter examines the surrounding mechanisms of power in the fictional government as well as the protagonist's rise to leadership.

In April 1838, after twenty-two years of marriage, Harry’s wife approached a lawyer for advice on getting a formal separation and a maintenance settlement as he was withholding housekeeping money, getting drunk and ill-treating her. She advised the shocked lawyer that her husband was not a man, but a woman, and "also stated, that she accidentally made the discovery of the sex of her husband as much as two or three years back; but that she had kept the secret till the present time." Harry Stokes was examined by a police surgeon who "gave a certificate declaring that the individual in question was a woman". The Manchester Guardian stated “This woman-man, who, for probably more than five-and-twenty years, has succeeded in concealing her sex, and in pursuing a trade of more than ordinarily masculine and hazardous description, with a degree of skill and ability which had led to her establishment of a good business in this town”. Although news articles stated that “her real name is believed to be Harriet Stoakes”, there is no evidence that Stokes ever confirmed his name assigned at birth to be Harriet. Harry Stokes’s gender became the subject of gossip and ridicule around Manchester.

In 1994, when Southern Broadcasting Network bought the station DXSS-TV channel 7 from Republic Broadcasting System as its partnership, the channel's affiliation was swapped with ABC, whose former station had been closed due to declaration of Martial Law twenty-two years ago, and GMA thus acquired the channel 5 frequency resulting to a callsign change to DXMJ-TV, which has been used till the present. Since the consumation of the purchase, GMA Channel 5 Davao became an owned-and-operated station under the ownership of Republic Broadcasting System, which later formally changed its corporate name to GMA Network Incorporated on May 20, 1996, with GMA now standing for Global Media Arts. In 1999, GMA Channel 5 Davao was re-upgraded into an originating station with the producing its local newscast Testigo: GMA Super Balita for Davao City and several other provinces in southern Mindanao. In the same year, they opened their studios at the 4th floor of Amesco Building, Magsaysay Street, Davao City from the old Facility at J.P. Laurel Avenue Davao City, joining their radio counterparts who have been staying there since 1996. In 2005, "Testigo" and "Singgit Davao" were re-launched and were taken under the wing of GMA News & Public Affairs and GMA Entertainment TV Group respectively.
