View through a peephole Door viewer in the gate of Vaxholm Fortress A peephole, peekhole, spyhole, doorhole, magic mirror or door viewer, is a small opening through a door allowing the viewer to look from the inside to the outside. In a door, usually for apartments or hotel rooms, a peephole enables to see outside without opening the door. Notable roles have included Alice Munro in Michael Mann's The Last of the Mohicans, Lea Papin in Sister My Sister, Lady Sarah Lennox in Aristocrats, Florence Banner in Tipping the Velvet, Anne Boleyn in the first adaptation of The Other Boleyn Girl, and Sabina Spielrein in the play The Talking Cure. In 2002, May wrote and directed a short film called Spyhole. In August 2005, May appeared in Blackbird by David Harrower alongside Roger Allam at the Edinburgh Festival in a production by German director Peter Stein. The play transferred to the Albery Theatre, London in February 2006 and won a best new play award.

They were stacked in bungs in such a way so the most delicate wares were protected. A bung of saggars would be 12 or 13 high, on the top of the bung would be unfired newly moulded green saggars. In the centre of the bottle oven is the well-hole, over it, saggars with no bottoms would be placed in the pipe-bung: this formed a chimney to draw the fires. When the kiln was full, the clammins were bricked up leaving one brick short to form a spyhole so the firemen could watch the buller's rings to judge the temperature of the firing.

Many believe that Booth had bored a spyhole into the door of the presidential box earlier that day, so that he could observe the box's occupants and verify that the President had made it to the play. Conversely, an April 1962 letter from Frank Ford, son of the theatre manager Harry Clay Ford, to George Olszewski, a National Park Service historian, includes: "Booth did not bore the hole in the door leading to the box [...]. The hole was bored by my father ... [to] allow the guard ... to look into the box". After spending time at the saloon during intermission, Booth entered Ford's Theater one last time at 10:10 pm.

Tina shows new girl Tammy around the school, but after the rebellious Tammy eggs her on, Tina shows her a spyhole into the boys locker room, but they get caught and sent to detention. The now- rebellious Tina starts to become upset with her parents, and when they leave her to babysit Gene and Louise while they see Cake (a show presenting patty- cake in the style of Stomp), she invites Tammy, Zeke and Jimmy Jr. to her house and Tammy convinces them to get drunk on margarita mix, until Jimmy Jr. accidentally breaks one of her porcelain toys and Tina tells them to leave. Tammy, however, steals Tina's notebook full of potentially embarrassing "erotic friend fiction" and blackmails her with it, while Gene and Louise force her to do their chores so they don't reveal the margarita party to their parents. While trying to sneak out with margarita mix for Tammy, Tina gets caught and is grounded, and an upset Tammy warns her that she'll read her friend fiction out at lunch the following day.
