She appeared in Terence Rattigan's In Praise of Love in South Africa and again during 1974-1975 for performances at the Theatre Royal, Windsor. She also appeared on television in character roles, including Queen Victoria in The Ravelled Thread (1978), in addition to small parts on popular TV series' including The Bill, House of Cards, Men Behaving Badly and Black Books. She made many TV appearances over the years, notably making a cameo appearance as Queen Victoria in Southern Television's The Ravelled Thread (1980).

Unable to earn a living from music he emigrated to London where he worked as a carpenter.Willie Clancy in Clare People Library Returning to Milltown Malbay in 1957 he recorded some influential 78 rpm recordings for the Gael Linn label - among them the classic reel selection "The Old Bush/The Ravelled Hank of Yarn." The next decades he stayed in Milltown Malbay.

Baba Shah Isfahani (, Bābā Šāh Isfahāni), also known as Baba Shah Araghi (, Bābā Šāh Arāqi), was the most famous Iranian calligrapher in the 16th century and the most prominent calligrapher of Nastaliq script in the era of Tahmasp I. He was titled as Reyis or-Roassa. His calligraphy teacher was Ahmad Mashhadi. In 1588, when he was young, he ravelled to Iraq. He was killed in Baghdad and was buried in this city.

A retrospective of twenty years of her work, entitled The Ravelled Sleeve, was held in 2012 at the McDonald Stewart Art Centre at the University of Guelph (Guelph, Ontario). Morton’s work is in the collections of Cambridge Galleries, Museum London, and the National Gallery of Canada, as well as corporate and private collections. Morton has received funding from the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, and the Canada Council for the Arts. In 2001, she was the recipient of the Paris Studio Award (France) from the latter funding agency.

The STYX is an installation of mental, emotional, and psychological passage. It refers to a sense of exigent myth and allegory, alluding to the famous mythological river as a site of psychical transformation. It is the point of transit and entry to the imagined underworld, and stands for the experience of life as that of journey and passage, a voyaged dream into the ravelled beyond, leading to an awakening that acknowledges the expanded awareness of new realities. From living consciousness to masked unconscious, from life to death, and the imagined world and afterlife, the River Styx is an aqueous symbol of radical change from the mutable aspects of the world to immutable and inevitable certainty of our eventual passage.

Photographs of this ravelled cable were exhibited as a curiosity in the windows of Newall & Co.'s shop in The Strand. By 5 July the whole of the six-wire cable had been recovered and a portion of the three-wire cable, the rest being abandoned as unfit for use, owing to its twisted condition.
