The following month, Jackson took part in a major independent show in Woodbridge, Virginia on December 8, 1996, teaming with Sean Powers and Darkside (Glen Osbourne and Rockin' Rebel) in an 8-man tag team match Axl Rotten, Chris Stephenson and The Headbangers (Mosh & Thrasher). The event, "The Night the Business Was Exposed", ended with Stevie Richards and The Blue Meanie exposing kayfabe.
McGillicutty then revealed that Tommy Dreamer was the father, with Dreamer storming the ring and beating down Raven, Richards and The Blue Meanie. On February 3, 1996, at Big Apple Blizzard Blast, Richards announced that he was suing Missy Hyatt - who had aligned herself with The Sandman - for sexual harassment (a reference to Hyatt's lawsuit against her former employer, World Championship Wrestling). The angle concluded at Natural Born Killaz on August 24, 1996, when Richards offered to drop the lawsuit if Hyatt would insult The Sandman. After Hyatt complied, The Sandman caned her, breaking their alliance.
He also had a dotted line "tattoo" on his right arm (parodying Goldberg's tribal tattoo) and would use the catchphrase "Who's First?" in reference not only to Goldberg's catchphrase "Who's Next?", but also to the fact that Gill would lose to each and every one of his opponents. Gill made his Royal Rumble debut in 1999, but was immediately eliminated by Edge. Gill's only victory as Gillberg came on the February 8, 1999, edition of Raw when he defeated Goldust with help from former J.O.B. Squad member The Blue Meanie, who was feuding with Goldust at the time.
In November 1998, Al Snow, Bob Holly and Scorpio united and formed The J.O.B. Squad. During that same month on an edition of Raw, they helped Mankind defeat Ken Shamrock and The Big Boss Man in a triple threat match. In February 1999, Scorpio was released by the WWF while Gillberg was later phased out of storylines and The Blue Meanie allied with Goldust. After dwindling down to only two members, Snow wrestled against himself on an edition of Raw before Holly came down to the ring to prevent Snow from hurting himself, which led to the formal breakup of the J.O.B. Squad.
Some special edition Meanies were given away as unique collectibles at arena events, such as basketball games. They were animal versions of players for the home team, which was either the New Jersey Nets or the Philadelphia 76ers. Other special edition Meanies were mail-away offers, where collectors could send in tags or proofs of purchase to get a free mystery Meanie in the mail. This was done first with "Fangaroo the Kangaroo" in Series 1, then with "Chubby the Bear" (a parody of Clubby from Beanie Babies) in Series 2 and finally with "Tiger Shark" as a special promotion through various Cap'n Crunch cereals.

Big Meanie (also called Hawthorn Pot and Nostril Pot) is another entrance into the system situated about due west of Death's Head Hole, in a shakehole by a kink in the wall. To the east the passage divides, with one branch heading towards Eyeholes before becoming too tight, and the other passing through a dug-out constriction into a muddy crawl that finishes on a ledge above the floor of the Death's Head Main Chamber, opposite East Passage.

BJR got their first start in AUSCAR in the 3rd annual Goodyear AUSCAR 200 at the Calder Park Thunderdome in 1988 in a Holden VL Commodore dubbed the "Green Meanie". Brad Jones qualified 5th and a strong run inside the top 10 saw him established as one of the front-runners. Initially BJR raced only in AUSCAR, the second-tier series behind NASCAR where they quickly grew to become the dominant team in the series, winning five consecutive titles from 1990 to 1994.

Even though Riviera and Jett would fall short in their bid to defeat Demolition, their match earned the three of them placement on the cover of the TWA's DVD release for this show. Hicks also managed former Combat Zone Wrestling champions "The Best Around" Bruce Maxwell and TJ Cannon helping them defeat former ECW star The Blue Meanie and his tag team partner Kid America.

On August 8, 2010, Heffron was slated to appear at the TNA PPV Hardcore Justice; however, he could not attend the event and was replaced by a fake Blue Meanie named The Blue Tilly.
When they decide to use the whistle t activated a stampede, Scrappy, anticipating the uncomfortable trance, covers his ears along with Scooby. He carries all three others out when the house begins to collapse, and at the end of the episode, after Randarr is unmasked, he calls the true villain, who was poaching animals, a meanie. Scooby-Doo and Cyclops Too The gang, including Scrappy, is on vacation to a place called Paradise Island, and a man at the gas station tells them that the hotel's owners are turning people into zombies. When Shaggy accidentally lets slip what Barney says and tries to backspace by asking the rest of the group if he said zombies, Scrappy misses the deeper meaning and blithely mentions Barney.
The Squad would score another upset later on in the night as they defeated The New Age Outlaws after interference from Shamrock, Boss Man, Mankind and other J.O.B. Squad members. Gill was later renamed Gillberg, and he began parodying the mannerisms and ring entrance style of then WCW World Heavyweight Champion Goldberg. On the November 29 episode of Sunday Night Heat, Gillberg faced Christian in a rematch for the Light Heavyweight Championship, but the match ended in a double disqualification after the debuting Blue Meanie, a new member of The J.O.B. Squad, interfered. On the following episode of Raw Is War, Gillberg scored another upset when he defeated Marc Mero, who had to (in storyline) retire from wrestling if he lost.

These vignettes were sponsored by the fictional group, "Evangelists Against Television, Movies and Entertainment", the acronym for which reads "EATME" – a thinly veiled joke on the WWF's part. Runnels declared himself a born again Christian, alluding to "his" return, and walking through the crowd with signs reading "he's coming back!". While the return of Christ was clearly implied, Runnels was in fact referencing the return of the Goldust gimmick, which he reprised in October 1998 against Val Venis and then in November 1998, he began feuding with Jeff Jarrett over the attention of his manager, Debra. In early 1999, Goldust feuded with Al Snow, upon stealing Head, Snow's mascot, and The Blue Meanie, who had recently renamed himself "Bluedust" and adopted many of Goldust's mannerisms.
Max is often the victim of his abuse, being punched, shot or stomped on by a "Butterfly Stomper". He also has another Meanie carry around a stool so that he can sit down whenever he likes; presumably, were he to fall on the ground it would be at the stool-carrier's peril. He also states (until the very end, when he starts warming to the Beatles) that "we Meanies only take 'no' for an answer", and gets extremely angry at the sound of the word "yes", even when being answered in the affirmative. Sometimes his own aggression gets the better of him and he needs to be revived with "nasty medicine", which makes him even more eccentric than he already is.
Afterwards, she once again offers her services to Chanel; she eventually disappears after the murder of one of the Chanels, which she seems to have previously known about or anticipated. After the three Green Meanies reveal themselves as Dr. Cascade, Nurse Hoffel, and her father Wes Gardner, Hester calls a Green Meanie summit to determine who killed who and who will kill who next. Meanwhile, Dr. Brock Holt confides in her over his urges to kill, as she was a Red Devil. She convinces him to become a killer, and after the Green Meanies are all defeated, the two of them take Dean Munsch's money and flee to Blood Island to kill tourists in the style of a hunting game.
After Chad's death she lets Hester free to go to the Halloween party only so after she will reveal who the killer is but Hester escapes and after finding Chanel #5 stabbed, the Green Meanie throws punch on her and then electrocutes her with a defibrillator, incapacitating her, later her body would be sent into a cryogenic chamber after Dean Munsch reveals Denise still has a slight heartbeat and hopes to bring her back to life. In the finale, Nurse Hoffel turns off her machine to use the power to plant the bombs in the hospital and Denise wakes up just in time to defuse the bomb to save everyone and helps chases Nurse Hoffel into the swamp where they all agree to leave her to die in quicksand.
He and Don E. Allen also lost to Dances with Dudley & Dudley Dudley at Gangsta's Paradise '95 on August 16. Slivenski also defeated Raven for the MEWF Mid-Atlantic Championship on October 1, 1995. On April 1, 1996, Slivenski was involved in a real-life "shoot" with New Jack when he took part in a tag team "double tables" match with The Blue Meanie against The Gangstas at an April Fool's Day television taping for ECW Hardcore TV. Slivenski had replaced Meanie's original partner, Stevie Richards, who had suffered a cracked orbital bone during an alterication with Tommy Dreamer and Shane Douglas.

Several independent stars such as Boo Bradley, Devon Storm, Steve Corino, Jimmy Cicero, Christian York, Quinn Nash, and "Judge" Jeff Jones also made their home in the MEWF. Their success encouraged he and Wipprecht opened their own training facility for the MEWF, the "Brain Buster's Pro Wrestling Academy", which included Bob Starr as an instructor.
The first mention of Son of Frankenstein in trade papers arrived on August 29, 1938 when The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Universal was negotiating a two-picture deal with Boris Karloff to appear in two new horror films, with the first one being a sequel to Frankenstein. By September 2, the magazine reported that Universal had announced the film as After Frankenstein. Bela Lugosi and Basil Rathbone were announced as cast members on October 20, while Universal announced in the Hollywood Reporter on October 24th that plans to have Karloff, Lugosi and Peter Lorre had fallen through as the company could get Lorre from 20th Century Fox. According to the press release, Lorre had turned down the offer as he had left working in horror films to become Mr. Moto and "did not want to risk being "on another meanie.
Douglas (kneeling) wrestling against Raven After quitting from WWF, Douglas made his surprise return to ECW at the House Party event, where he reprised his Dean Douglas character, correcting Buh Buh Ray Dudley's grammar after a match, thus becoming a fan favorite. His televised return aired on the January 9 episode of Hardcore TV, where he confronted Stevie Richards and Blue Meanie, denounced his Dean gimmick and declared "the Franchise is back!". During this time, he had a memorable feud with Cactus Jack as Cactus was getting ready to leave for WWF and cutting promos encouraging Tommy Dreamer to side with him, deriding ECW's hardcore style and promoting clean wrestling. Douglas eventually pinned Jack in a match at CyberSlam after performing a drop toe-hold onto an opened steel chair after Jack's partner Mikey Whipwreck betrayed Jack.
The cave is a solutional cave formed in Visean Great Scar limestone from the Mississippian Series of the Carboniferous period. Its development has been largely determined by the same vertical fault that may be observed in the nearby Death's Head Hole and Big Meanie. The stream flowing through the cave enters Lost Johns' Cave as a tributary, and eventually emerges from the Leck Beck Head spring in Ease Gill. It is thought that the current hydrology is relatively recent, and that some 350,000 years ago Rumbling Hole was a major sink that took water into now-blocked passages at the north end of the shaft, through East Passage and West Passage in Death's Head Hole and the passages associated with Glasfurds Chamber in Gavel Pot, and hence to a resurgence in the Leck Beck valley some above the current resurgence which is now covered with glacial till.
Alegado, Dinero and Doring lost to The Patriot, Rikishi and The Blue Meanie in a Best-Of-Three-Falls Match when Alegado was pinned by Rikishi. That spring, Alegado retained the NCW Heavyweight Championship against Ricky Morton at NCW's "The Hart of Rock And Roll". On May 9, King Kaluha defeated Sweet Daddy Ebony at a NWA 3000 Revolution event in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania. A month later in Maple Shade, New Jersey, at 3K Wrestling's War Before RAW, Alegado and Ricky Landell lost to Kid America and Steve Corino in a match for the vacant PWF Tag Team Championship. On June 22, in a rematch for the NCW title, Kaluha (with Jonathan Luvstruk) beat Ricky Morton by disqualification at a New Elite Wrestling show. He was among the eight wrestlers to compete in 3K Wrestling's Shinya Hashimoto Memorial Tournament one-night tournament at Gold's Gym in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania.
Several cartoon shorts were featured over the course of the series' run, including: A cartoon starring a funnel-capped shape-shifting boy named Tom Terrific was part of the show in the 1950s and 1960s. Tom had a sidekick named Mighty Manfred the Wonder Dog, and a nemesis, Crabby Appleton ("I'm rotten to the core!"). Other cartoons included Lariat Sam, who (aided by his loyal horse Tippytoes), confronted his nemesis Badlands Meanie, which was developed by veteran game show announcer Gene Wood, then a show staffer (who also sang the cartoon's theme song). The British cartoon Simon in the Land of Chalk Drawings appeared in the 1970s, featuring a child with magic chalk who could create all sorts of short-lived creations in short adventures (the original version featured a British narrator, Bernard Cribbins, but Keeshan's voice was dubbed onto the cartoons for their U.S. airing).
Professor Morbid Grimsby is an evil genius who has won the prestigious "Meanie" award six years in a row; to guarantee a seventh, he plots to eliminate all laughter by getting rid of the Sunday funnies, with the aid of his henchman Brutus. Popeye is given a job as captain of the Professor's yacht, the SS Hilarious, and all the characters from the humorous comic strips are informed that they have won a free ocean voyage upon this boat. Once out at sea, the boat is pulled to a remote island by the Professor's tractor beam, and in the chaos Popeye's stash of spinach is lost at sea; thus, he and all the passengers are prisoners of the Professor. Being a huge fan of the Sunday funnies, the President of the United States takes action by calling together the heroes of the adventure comics to rescue the prisoners.
" Variety gave Dune a less negative review, stating "Dune is a huge, hollow, imaginative and cold sci-fi epic. Visually unique and teeming with incident, David Lynch's film holds the interest due to its abundant surface attractions but won't, of its own accord, create the sort of fanaticism which has made Frank Herbert's 1965 novel one of the all-time favorites in its genre." They also commented on how "Lynch's adaptation covers the entire span of the novel, but simply setting up the various worlds, characters, intrigues and forces at work requires more than a half-hour of expository screen time." They did enjoy the cast and said that "Francesca Annis and Jürgen Prochnow make an outstandingly attractive royal couple, Siân Phillips has some mesmerizing moments as a powerful witch, Brad Dourif is effectively loony, and best of all is Kenneth McMillan, whose face is covered with grotesque growths and who floats around like the Blue Meanie come to life.
The Mid-Eastern Wrestling Federation was a Mid-Atlantic independent professional wrestling promotion based in Essex, Maryland. Founded by promoter Dennis Wippercht and wrestler Tim "Lucifer" Burke in 1991, the MEWF was one of the leading independent promotions on the East Coast during the 1990s rivaling promotions such as East Coast Wrestling Association, Jersey All Pro Wrestling and Maryland Championship Wrestling. Among its roster included Extreme Championship Wrestling regulars such as Raven, Stevie Richards, The Blue Meanie, Damien Kane, Pit Bull #2, referee "Judge" Jeff Jones, and The Bad Breed (Ian and Axl Rotten) as well as some of the leading independent wrestlers such as Cueball Carmichael, Johnny Gunn, Max Thrasher, Devon Storm, Morgus the Maniac, Boo Bradley, Jimmy Cicero, Hollywood Bob Starr, Ruckus, Dino Casanova, Corporal Punishment, The Bad Crew and Darkside (Glen Osborne and Rockin' Rebel). Former World Wrestling Federation wrestlers such as Barry Horowitz, Road Warrior Hawk, Jim Neidhart, The Honky Tonk Man and The Headbangers as well as World Championship Wrestling veterans "Jumping" Joey Maggs and Disco Inferno also had short stints in the promotion.
The soundproof glass sphere covers the band, making their music inaudible, and in their panic to run away, the natives are fired at by the Blue Meanies' guns, whose missiles both drain their victims' colour on contact and seem to petrify them. The Chief bombards the natives with various weapons and other evil species that vary in their ferocity and eccentricity (as demonstrated when the Beatles' arrival to Pepperland, when a sharp-toothed "snapping turtle-Turk", consumes a young girl's paper windmill) that will reduce Pepperland's colourful hills and plants to bare thorns and grey wasteland, with the only green existing in the form of giant apples that the "Apple Bonkers" pluck from trees to "bonk" on peoples' heads. Later in the film, the Meanies kidnap the Beatles' friend and comrade, Jeremy Hillary Boob, also known as the "Nowhere Man". After the Beatles finally arrive in Pepperland, the Chief Blue Meanie is incensed when he sees the hills and trees returning to their proper colours at the sound of their music; he sends his fiercest weapon, "The Dreadful Flying Glove" after the heroes.
