The They are dark reddish brown on the upper part of the head and body, shading to paler pink on the underparts, they are marked with lighter spots and blotches across their body and there are darker margins to the fins. This species has a maximum published total length of , although they a more commonly found at lengths around , and a maximum published weight of .
In these fishes the dorsal fin contains 11 spines and 15 to 18 soft rays while the anal fin contains 3 spines and 10 to 13 soft rays, the central rays being longer than the others. The caudal fin may be truncate, emarginate or concave in shape and has 8 branched fin rays and 9 to 12 rays in its lower part which are placed further towards the margin. The scales along the flanks around the lateral line are ctenoid.
Sabrang says its purpose is "to provide information on, analyse and expose the machinations of communal politics in India, on the subcontinent and abroad and to publicise the attempt of secular individuals, groups and organisations engaged in fighting them". Sabrang also aimed to create new books on Indian history as an alternative to official accounts that distort or truncate reality. Part of the objective would be to destroy traditional stereotypes. Another project begun in 1996 was named "Aman", which means "Olive Branch".
Measuring in length and in width, the leathery green leaves are oblong to obovate (egg-shaped) or truncate with a recessed midvein and mildly recurved margins, which are entire at the base and serrate towards the ends of the leaves. These vanish on the body whorl, which is entirely covered by dense, microscopic spirals so crossed by radials as to give the effect of fine punctures over the whole surface. The basal funicle is massive, coiled on the body whorl like a subsidiary whorl, far extended anteriorly, its truncate extremity excavate. A small perforation occurs below the subcircular aperture in the base of the funicle.
The brown meagre is between 30 and 40 cm in length but can grow to 60 cm. It has a flat belly and its strongly arched back which give it an easily recognisable shape, the body is laterally compressed and the large, horizontal mouth reaches the level of the eye and contains villiform teeth. Badb Linea is the third rift zone and consists of closely spaced, linear grabens trending in a north-south direction. However, unlike the other rifts, Badb Linea has structures which both truncate and cross-cut the Irnini flows, signifying that its rifting occurred before and after the Irnini flows. The abundance of tectonic structures (e.g. wrinkle ridges, graben, and tessera) in proximity to Irnini Mons provides indications for the regional stress orientation of the shallow crust, as well as local timelines.
Macroscopic observation of Xerocomellus chrysenteron is not sufficient to determine this species with certainty, as many intermediate forms occur between it and other taxa; in particular, some forms of B. pruinatus and Hortiboletus rubellus are hardly distinguishable from B. chrysenteron without the aid of microscopic characters. B. porosporus is also similar to this species, but it is easily separated on account of the whitish under layer and truncate (chopped off) spores. Also this species is easily confused with B. declivitatum.

The apex of the marginal cell of the wing is truncate, and the trochanteral scopa is reduced. Panurgines also frequently have yellow markings in locations other than on the face, a feature not seen in any other subfamilies of Andrenidae. Most members of this subfamily are oligolectic, with highly specialized floral associations, especially in desert species.
Ekrixanthera ehecatli is a species of extinct plant first described from fossilised flowers from Mexican amber. Its flowers lack pedicels and are pentamerous and staminate; they have a pistillode with reduced pilosity; glabrous heteromorphic tepals with truncate tips. Differentiating it from Ekrixanthera hispaniolae are the presence or absence of a pedicel, the heterotrophic tepals, and the presence or absence of pilosity of its pistillode and tepals. Additionally, the latter characters added to the pentamerous flowers separate the two fossil species from extant genera.
War memorial, 2009 The Goondiwindi War Memorial is located at the western end of Goondiwindi's main street, in the south-eastern corner of the Goondiwindi Memorial Park. The memorial consists of a Digger monument (WWI) and memorial gates (WWII). The monument rises to approximately six metres and is centrally placed within a generous square enclosure whose boundaries are defined by poplar trees, hedges, silky oaks and figs. The monument is axially aligned with the memorial gates, which truncate the street corner.

Abathomphalus is a genus of foraminifera included in the Globotruncanid family. Abathomphalus was described and recorded in 1957 by Bolli, Loeblich, and Tappan and distinguished from related general by the "extra-umbilical position of the primary aperture and in the radial sutures on the umbilical side." The test forms a low to flat umbilicate trochospiral, with four to five petaloid chambers per whorl. Sutures are curved and oblique, the periphery angular to truncate, bearing two variously spaced keels bordered by an imperforate band.
Dry-season brood, male at Hodal in Faridabad district of Haryana, India The female is similar with the upper forewing having the orange patch on the black apical area narrower, posteriorly truncate and not extending so far down. There is also an outer transverse series of four black spots on the orange parch in interspaces 2 to 5. The underside is similar to that of the male but the markings are slightly larger. The antennae, head, thorax and abdomen are also similar.
It has been noted that Pelteobagrus may not be monophyletic if species placed in Pseudobagrus and Coreobagrus were excluded. The taxonomy of this genus is unclear and many authorities treat it as a junior synonym of Tachysurus. Pseudobagrus species are small- to mid-sized bagrid catfishes. These fish all have an inferior mouth; narial openings widely separated; four pairs of barbels; top of head covered by skin in most species; two dorsal fin spines; pelvic fin small; and caudal fin emarginate, truncate or round.
The outer lip is thin, flatly arched, with a deep broad sinus which lies up at the very suture, and with no shelf at the insertion. Below the sinus the edge of the lip sweeps forward in a great wing-like curve. There is a mere thin glaze on the body of the inner lip. Its line is barely convex on the body, subangulatedly concave at its junction with the columella, which is longish, oblique to the left, and slightly truncate at the point.
Leaflets obovate-oblong to oblong-cuneate, thinly coriaceous, coarsely serrate-dentate. Flowers usually unisexual; inflorescences are compound umbels with 8-20 primary branchlets up to 10 cm long, 15-20 secondary rays, umbellules with 10-15 flowers in each. Calyx truncate or obscurely 5-toothed; flowers 5mm in diameter, sweet-scented; petals 5, white to pink flushed, ovate to triangular, acute; stamens 5; ovary 2-loculed, each containing 1(-2) ovules; style branches 2, spreading. Fruit fleshy, very dark purple, laterally compressed, 5–8 mm diam.
It is an erect, succulent annual herb which grows to up about 60 cm high, and has triangular to ovate leaves which are truncate or cordate at the base and about 5–10 cm long, with entire margins. The stipules form an almost complete sheath around the stem which disintegrates. The flowers are green with a red tinge, and have six perianth segments with the inner three becoming enlarged and papery when fruiting. The hard, red and reticulately veined fruit persist, giving rise to spectacular displays.
The sharp lip is continuous all around, raised up and with the edge slightly everted in the umbilical region, so as to partially conceal the umbilicus, which is rather large and deep, nearly circular within. The thin operculum is horny, pale yellow, round-ovate, spiral, with two to three rapidly enlarging whorls, the nucleus excentric. The head of the animal is large, short, thick, rounded or truncate. It has two short, flat, obtuse, anterior tentacles, wide apart, but connected together by a transverse fold.
The spores are hyaline (translucent), smooth, and ellipsoid with the ends truncate. They have dimensions of 11.5–20 by 5–9 μm, and usually contain two large oil drops. The paraphyses (sterile, filamentous cells interspersed among the asci, or spore- producing cells) are 5–8 μm wide at the tip, branched, septate (with partitions that divide the cells into compartments), and constricted at the septa. The fault seems to have been partly reactivated during the Neogene in the section between the Albertine and Gregory rifts, and along its southern extension towards the Indian Ocean. The reactivated section of the Aswa lineament connects the eastern and western branches of the East African rift system. It seems also to truncate the Nyanza rift, which extends ENE from Lake Victoria. The section of the Aswa Dislocation between the two rifts forms part of the boundary between the Somali Plate and the African Plate.

The Germans underestimated that 1,500 to 2,000 had dropped; they recorded 901 paratroops captured and killed in the first 24 hours. Thereafter, they largely ignored the Soviet paratroopers, to counterattack and truncate the Dnieper bridgeheads. Poa pratensis is a herbaceous perennial plant tall. The leaves have boat-shaped tips, narrowly linear, up to long and broad, smooth or slightly roughened, with a rounded to truncate ligule long. The conical panicle is long, with 3 to 5 branches in the basal whorls; the oval spikelets are long with 2 to 5 florets, and are purplish-green or grey. They are in flower from May to July, compared to annual meadowgrass (Poa annua) which is in flower for eight months of the year.

Males have black forewings, with a large triangular area from the hindmargin forwards to R3, penetrating into the cell, truncate-sinuate costally, not extending to the base. There are three white spots beyond the apex of the cell from the costal margin to R3, more or less confluent, the first the smallest and two white subapical spots. The hindwings are mostly white with a somewhat irregular black distal margin band, tapering behind.
On September 10, 2020 as part of its FY2022 proposed budget, WMATA proposed to truncate route 16C service from Downtown DC to Pentagon station, in order to reduce costs and low federal funds. These fish are aptly named; their rounded, compressed bodies are completely covered (with the exception of the caudal peduncle) with very large, strong, platelike scales called scutes, which are fortified with prominent ridges. The first dorsal fin is composed of four to seven strong, disunited spines which vary in length; the second dorsal fin and anal fin are small, spineless and rounded, situated far back of the convex head. The pectoral fins are somewhat elongate and the caudal fin is truncate. Coloration is typically a yellow to orange, with the scales dramatically outlined in black.

The caudal fin is truncate. This species shows a variable coloration and patterning and can change the colour and pattern on its body in relation to its environment as a means of camouflage. The typical colour is that the head and body are pale blue-grey, to pinkish brown with 8 narrow, vertical blue-grey bars on the upper body, the most forward just to the rear of the eye and the last one on the base of the caudal fin. Where they are underneath the dorsal fin they extend on to it.
The forewings are light greyish ochreous, irrorated (srinkled) with whitish and with a few scattered fuscous and blackish scales, as well as a short black dash beneath the costa near the base. There is a triangular blackish patch occupying the median third of the costa. The apex is truncate, reaching more than half across the wing and there is a very small dark fuscous spot on costa at three-fourths, and a black dot or dash beneath it. There are also indications of blackish dots round the posterior part of the costa and termen.
There is a perceptible hump in the back beginning just behind the eye; it is topped by a conspicuous, crest-shaped spinous dorsal fin containing 7-10 spines which descend in height towards the posterior. In adults of some species, the dorsal spines are adorned with long, streamer-like filaments. A second, much lower dorsal fin (with 22-37 soft rays) extends down the rest of the back, in a slight retrorse direction due to the body's curvature. The caudal peduncle is thin and the caudal fin is small and truncate (brush- shaped).
Maxillary lobe of the second pair of feet very long, nearly straight from the base, not attenuated, directed mesad nearly horizontally, and united on the ventro-meson to the lobe from the opposite side without forming a sensible angle; the two together lightly arched on the cephalic border, and forming an even curve. Sternal piece large, slightly contracted between the fourth pair of coxae, gradually enlarging and obtusely truncate cephalad. The feet are very long and slender; tibia of the second pair with a few false articulations. Palpal claw denticulate.
The pubescence is located on the main vein on the bottom of the leave. The leaf shape can vary from oval to elliptic and present coriaceous leaves; leaf base and apex are rounded. Solitary flowers located at the end of the branches, colored from yellowish green to beige, with 3 to 5 deciduous floral bracts; 3 obovate thick fresh sepals; 6 to 7 obovate and fleshy petals with truncate base and acute apex. Woody fruit, elliptic, measuring from 6,9 to 8,5 cm long and 3,3 to 4,5 cm broad; the carpels split open irregularly.
Selaginella sibirica, the Siberian spikemoss, is a species of spikemoss that can be found in dry or exposed rocks and ridges from Alaska to the northwestern region of the district of Mackenzie as well as in northern Russia. The linear leaves are grooved on the back, 2.5-3 millimeters long, including the seta, and usually truncate near the top. Sporophylls are ovate to triangular, and are shorter than the leaves. It looks similar to S. densa, though it can be distinguished by its white setae, compared to the yellow setae of S. densa.
The spores of G. pectinatum are brown and opaque. They have a roughly spherical shape and are ornamented with transparent (hyaline), truncate warts; the diameter is 4–4.5 µm, or 5.5–6.5 if the lengths of the warts is included. In 2013, WMATA proposed two options to the 10A and the 10E, following a major change planned for the route. The first option was to truncate the 10E to Pentagon station, with the 10A being extended to Rosslyn station. The 10A would be renamed as the 10R, and will no longer operate via Pentagon station and will continue towards Rosslyn via Jefferson Davis Highway (now Richmond Highway). The current route of SR-138 was formed in 1965, when SR-2 was moved to the north to reflect the future alignment of then under-construction I-80. The state legislature wanted to keep the old alignment of looping down to Grantsville in the state highway system, so it was re-designated as SR-138. This designation has remained the same since that action. In the May 2018 meeting of the Utah Transportation Commission, a motion passed to truncate the east end SR-138 to the future Tooele Midvalley Highway (SR-179).

Eight of 10 Merkel cell carcinoma tumors initially tested were found to be infected with MCV. In these tumors, the virus has integrated into the cancer cell genome and can no longer freely replicate. Recent studies from other laboratories have reproduced these findings: in one study 30 of 39 (77%) of Merkel cell tumors were MCV positive; in another study, 45 of 53 (85%) Merkel cell tumors were positive. Sequencing of the virus from Merkel cell cancers reveals that it generally has tumor-specific mutations that truncate the MCV T antigen.
To prevent preimage attacks, the cryptographic hash function used for a fingerprint should possess the property of second preimage resistance. If collision attacks are a threat, the hash function should also possess the property of collision-resistance. While it is acceptable to truncate hash function output for the sake of shorter, more usable fingerprints, the truncated fingerprints must be long enough to preserve the relevant properties of the hash function against brute-force search attacks. The first paved road across this portion of Nevada was the Victory Highway, designated in Nevada as State Route 1. The Panama hake is a relatively small species which does not normally grow to a greater length than 30 cm, although specimens have been described up to 40 cm. It has a relatively long head and long pectoral fins which reach at least to the origin of the anal fin. The anterior dorsal fin has a single spine and 9-12 fin rays, while the posterior dorsal fin has 36-40 rays. The caudal fin can be truncate or emarginated and it has 121-134 scales along the lateral line.
This species differs from the Panama hake in that in juveniles the caudal fin has a central lobe and is truncate in adults, whereas the caudal fin is emarginate in the Panama hake, its pectoral fin projects well beyond the anus in but does not do so in the Panama hake. The inside of the mouth and the tongue are usually blackish and there is a black marking on the submandibular fold. They grow to a maximum length of 80 cm, although fish of 16-42cm are commonest.

These tubercles are one of the easiest ways of identifying this species. In the shade, the leaves become elongated; while in sunnier conditions they remain short and compact. The plant produces offsets from the base, forming clumps, and also grows from broken leaves which root and develop shoots.

The same year, US 66 was also truncated in the east from Chicago to Joplin, Missouri. Despite California's lack of recognition of US 66 as an active highway, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) recognized the new western terminus of the highway at US 95 in Needles, across the river from Topock. The section of US 66 through Arizona remained unaltered until 1979, when AASHTO approved a request from California and Arizona to truncate US 66 from Needles to a junction with I-40 and US 666 in Sanders.

Martin is only firm about ending the series with the seventh novel "until I decide not to be firm". With his stated goal of telling the story from beginning to end, he will not truncate the story to fit into an arbitrary number of volumes. There was a proposal underway to re-extend this line back down to Worth Street in early 2017. In this proposal, every other bus would go to Worth Street via Bowery and Third Avenue, returning uptown via Centre Street and Lafayette Street. The M1 was extended back down to Grand Street on September 3, 2017, though downtown buses run on Broadway. Service will eventually be re-extended to Worth Street, after which the downtown buses running below 8th Street will be rerouted onto Bowery. In April 2018, it was proposed to permanently truncate the M4's southern terminal to 41st Street.
Cayenne keyhole limpets, Diodora cayenensis (Lamarck) This shell of this species varies from 15 mm to 50 mm in size and is shaped like a low cone with a small, subcentral keyhole-like opening or orifice on the top of the shell. The shell has an external sculpture of many radiating ribs. Internally, the keyhole opening is outlined by a truncate callus, which has a deep pit on its posterior edge. The external coloration of the shell varies from white to pinkish gray or brown sometimes with faint rays, and the interior of the shell is white to gray.
Acrochordonichthys is characterized by a highly rugose skin with tubercles arranged in longitudinal rows along the side of the body, the presence of a long, low adipose fin, and a truncate caudal fin. The tubercles on Acrochordonichthys may become either greatly hypertrophied or greatly reduced at different stages of the moulting cycle; moulting is known to occur in the related genus Breitensteinia. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Route 361 was originally an alignment of Route 4 from Route 41 (and formerly U.S. Route 7) to the state line, where it continued as New York State Route 361 to the village of Millerton and U.S. Route 44. In 1966, the Connecticut Department of Transportation decided to truncate Route 4 from the state line back to Sharon, and renumbered the stretch as Route 361 to match up at the state line. Xenohyla is a genus of tree frogs in the family Hylidae that is endemic to xeric habitats of coastal Brazil, with Xenohyla eugenioi native to the State of Bahia and the State of Sergipe, and Xenohyla truncata native to the State of Rio de Janeiro. This genus is characterized by a robust body, wide flat head, short snout, short forelimbs with muscular forearms, and a truncate- shaped body when viewed from above. They are associated with bromeliads, where they hide during the day and eat the insects that also inhabit the plant. They breed in temporary pools that are formed by rainwater.

The forewings are grey whitish with a dark grey basal patch somewhat mixed with pale ochreous occupying one-fifth of the wing, the edge rather inwards oblique from the costa. There is an elongate grey mark on the costa beyond this and a triangular dark grey blotch somewhat tinged with ochreous on the costa rather beyond the middle reaching more than halfway across the wing, its apex truncate, some slight grey suffusion in the disc preceding this. The stigmata are small and black, the plical suffused with yellowish, rather obliquely before the first discal. There is a small blackish dorsal spot beneath the second discal, and a blackish dot between these.
The basal bulb is characteristic of A. ravenelii. The fruit bodies of A. ravenelii are distinguished from A. chlorinosma by the presence of pale yellow to brownish orange, large, conical to truncate-conical warts on the cap surface and a large basal bulb. The mushroom A. polypyramis is pure white, and lacks the pale yellow to brownish-orange large conical warts typical of A. ravenelii. The idea for the Gremlin began in 1966 when design chief at American Motors, Dick Teague, and stylist Bob Nixon discussed the possibility of a shortened version of AMC's compact car. On an airline flight, Teague's solution, which he said he sketched on an air sickness bag, was to truncate the tail of a Javelin. Bob Nixon joined AMC as a 23-year-old and did the first formal design sketches in 1967 for the car that was to be the Gremlin. Chestnut Street in Carlin was once designated as part State Route 1, one of the first four state highways in Nevada designated in 1917. The route was later designated part of US 40 in the original Bureau of Public Roads plan for the U.S. Highway system in 1926. Later, during the formation of the Interstate Highway System, I-80 would eventually replace SR 1/US 40 through Carlin. In 1974, officials in Utah initiated meetings with officials in Nevada and California to truncate the route of U.S. Route 91. Nevada officials agreed and further suggested that both US 91 and US 40 be truncated.

Although not planned, it is possible to truncate SR 17 further to SR 85 due to the segment meeting interstate standards as well as I-880 still terminating at its parent interstate, I-80, in Oakland. This route is part of the California Freeway and Expressway System and is part of the National Highway System, a network of highways that are considered essential to the country's economy, defense, and mobility by the Federal Highway Administration. The freeway, along its entire length, is named the West Valley Freeway. A significant portion of the route is also signed as the Norman Y. Mineta Highway, after the former Mayor of San Jose, Secretary of Commerce and Secretary of Transportation.
On the early electromechanical timers, the motor ran at a constant speed throughout the wash cycle, although it was possible for the user to truncate parts of the program by manually advancing the control dial. However, by the 1950s demand for greater flexibility in the wash cycle led to the introduction of more sophisticated electrical timers to supplement the electromechanical timer. These newer timers enabled greater variation in functions such as the wash time. Route 48 was first allocated to the line between North Balwyn and the City on 11 December 1938 with the opening of the North Balwyn extension. Prior to that point, services on the East Kew line were largely provided by route 40, which ran from East Kew (Bulleen Road) to the City. Trams traditionally would usually terminate in the Lonsdale Street terminus on Spencer Street, but peak hour congestion at the terminus often meant that trams would often run through to La Trobe Street, or would truncate at the corner of Flinders and Spencer Streets. Japanese ichthyologists Shigeru Shirai and Hiroyuki Tachikawa described the blurred lanternshark in a 1993 article in the scientific journal Copeia, as part of a taxonomic revision of the Etmopterus pusillus species group. Ornithogalum species are perennial bulbous geophytes with basal leaves. Sensu lato, the genus has the characteristics of the tribe Ornithogaleae as a whole, since the tribe is monotypic in that sense. Sensu stricto, the genus is characterised by long linear to oblong-lanceolate (lance-shaped) leaves, sometimes with a white longitudinal band on the adaxial (upper) side, an inflorescence that is corymbose or pseudocorymbose, tepals that are white with a longitudinal green band only visible on the abaxial (lower) side, a capsule that is obovate or oblong, and truncate with six noticeable ribs in section and seeds that are globose with a prominently reticulate (net-like pattern) testa. The bulbs are ovoid with free or concrescent scales.
While it is possible to switch the 65C816/65C802 from native mode to emulation mode within an ISR, such is fraught with peril. In addition to forcing the accumulator and index registers to 8 bits (causing a loss of the most significant byte in the index registers), entering emulation mode will truncate the stack pointer to 8 bits and relocate the stack itself to page 1 RAM. The result is the stack that existed at the time of the interrupt will be inaccessible unless it was also in page 1 RAM and no larger than 256 bytes. The upper sides of the costae are green for most of their length. On their underside, they bear multiple rows of linear scales, not more than 0.1 to 0.4 mm wide, loosely overlapping, but not concealing the leaf surface, with a truncate base and without cilia at their edges. First, the dangling bond of the QM system must be capped, this is because it is undesirable to truncate the QM system (treating the bond as if it has been cleaved will yield very unrealistic calculations). The second issue relates to polarisation, more specifically for electrostatic or polarized embedding it is important to ensure that the proximity of the MM charges near the boundary does not cause over-polarisation of the QM density. The final issue is the bonding MM terms must be carefully selected in order to prevent double counting of interactions when looking at bonds across the boundary.
Branches and branchlets are very slender, with small crinkled oblong to broad oval-shaped dark red opposite leaves with wavy margins that sometimes end in a distinct rounded point, are in size, are truncate at their base, are distant, have purplish undersides, and have slender petioles hardly 0.5 mm ( in) in length. Its racemes are long, and are found at the tip of stems, or elsewhere on main branches. Its white flowers, found on slender pedicels up to in length, are distant, with broadly oval sepals about in size (sometimes toothed), similar petals, and 5 ribbed carpels. Like all Coriaria species, the plant is poisonous, especially the seed inside the small black berries.
Plant with developing buds and a previous year's old seed pod While exploring Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) in 1792–3, French botanist Jacques Labillardière collected specimens of what he later formally described as Embothrium truncatum in his 1805 work Novae Hollandiae Plantarum Specimen. The specific epithet is the Latin adjective truncatus, meaning "truncated" or "ending abruptly", referring to the end of the seed wing. This characteristic is not specific to the Tasmanian waratah; all members of the subtribe Embothriinae have truncate seed wings. Embothrium was a wastebasket taxon at the time, and Robert Brown proposed placing the species in a new genus, Telopea, in a talk he gave in 1809, publishing the new name Telopea truncata in 1810.
Merluccius australis has a more slender body compared to other species of Merluccius, with a short head which is makes up around a quarter of its standard length and a protruding lower jaw with some visible teeth. The anterior dorsal fin has a single spine and 9 to 12 fin rays and the posterior dorsal fin has 39 to 45 fin rays. The anal fin has 40 to 46 fin rays and the pectoral fins are long and thin, but they do not reach as far as the origin of anal fin in specimens longer than 50 cm standard length. The caudal fin margin is normally truncate, but in smaller specimens it can be slightly emarginate.
It can be shown that the truncated mean of the middle 24% sample order statistics (i.e., truncate the sample by 38% at each end) produces an estimate for the population location parameter that is more efficient than using either the sample median or the full sample mean. Cell phones also provide responders the opportunity to counsel lost or injured persons to determine their location by downloading USNG apps on the spot. This saves time and effort for responders and patients alike who are not on roads or addressed locations. If a FlexVol contains data, internal space can be decreased no less than used space. Even though LUN size with data on it could be decreased on WAFL file system, ONTAP has no knowledge about upper-level block structure due to SAN architecture so it could truncate data and damage the file system on that LUN, so the host needs to migrate the blocks containing the data into a new LUN boundary to prevent data loss. Each FlexVol can have its own QoS, FlashPool, FlasCache or FabricPool policies. If two FlexVol volumes are created, each on two aggregates and those aggregates owned by two different controllers, and the system administrator needs to use space from these volumes through a NAS protocol.
It is also usually necessary to truncate such scores, particularly if the scores are skewed. An alternative method of calculation requires that the scale developer prepare a table to convert raw scores to sten scores by apportioning percentages according to the distribution shown in the table. However, small windows, such as the Assynt window and the Glen Achall imbricated thrust system, allow geologists to estimate what the geology of Scotland was like before the Caledonian Orogeny. The relationship between the Moine Thrust Belt and other Scandian age structures in Scandinavia and East Greenland remains unclear, due to uncertainties associated with the Great Glen Fault zone. This major sinistral (left-lateral) strike-slip fault was also active during the late stages of the orogeny, but continued to move during the early Devonian and appears to truncate the southern end of the thrust belt. The total late Caledonian displacement on the Great Glen Fault is poorly constrained, making reconstruction of the southern part of the orogenic belt difficult.
The typical and usual segments of the insect leg are divided into the coxa, one trochanter, the femur, the tibia, the tarsus, and the pretarsus. The coxa in its more symmetrical form, has the shape of a short cylinder or truncate cone, though commonly it is ovate and may be almost spherical. The proximal end of the coxa is girdled by a submarginal basicostal suture that forms internally a ridge, or basicosta, and sets off a marginal flange, the coxomarginale, or basicoxite. The basicosta strengthens the base of the coxa and is commonly enlarged on the outer wall to give insertion to muscles; on the mesal half of the coxa, however, it is usually weak and often confluent with the coxal margin.
The brownspotted grouper was first formally described as Serranus chlorostigma in 1828 by the French zoologist Achille Valenciennes (1794-1865) with the type locality given as the Seychelles. E. chlorostigma is a member of a species complex comprising three species which are characterised by having a truncate or emarginate caudal fin, a body covered in dense spotting apart from their underparts, a slightly angular preopercle with slightly enlarged serrations at the angle, a straigt upper edge to the gill cover and a similar count of gill rakers. The three species are E. chlorostigma, E. gabriellae and E. polylepsis. The fish in the Red Sea, northwestern Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Aden are separated by some authorities as the valid species, Epinephelus geoffroyi.

US 10 moniker and M-58 was decommissioned as a highway designation. Nine years later, US 10 was moved off Woodward Avenue between Pontiac and Detroit to follow the Lodge Freeway and Telegraph Road. Flowers in a corymb of six to eight together from the apices of short branches among the leaves, on peduncles an inch or more long, which radiate, as it were, from a centre, spreading horizontally or curving downwards. Calyx large, between cylindrical and hemispherical, or deep cup-shaped, coloured red in the upper half, green below, the base intruse for the reception of the peduncle, three- quarters of an inch long and as much wide, the mouth almost truncate but obscurely lobed. Corolla remarkable for the almost unrivalled deep blood-red colour and glossy surface of its flowers, yielding only to R. fulgens, Hook. fil.,-deeper coloured than that of R. arboreum; the tube elongated, often vertically compressed, two inches long; the limb large, much spreading, five- lobed, the lobes emarginate, upper ones spotted.
The forewings are pale ochreous with an irregular blackish patch extending along the dorsum from near the base to near the tornus, widest before the middle of the wing, where it extends halfway across, the edge is sinuate before and beyond this, narrow towards the posterior extremity, the apex truncate and followed by slight whitish suffusion. There is a broad blackish streak along the costa from before the middle to the apex, pointed anteriorly, cut by an oblique whitish strigula at two-thirds and a less oblique grey-whitish strigula at three- fourths, the lower edge between this and the apex semicircularly excavated. There is also an oval silvery-white spot on the middle of the termen containing an elongate black dot. The hindwings are grey, lighter and bluish tinged anteriorly.
This was the first time that US 33 had a section of its routing in Michigan that was not concurrent with another highway. Additional freeway for US 31 was built in the late 1970s into the 1980s. Parker announced that NY 7B would be renumbered to NY 357 effective January 1\. 1970. This new designation would also truncate NY 7B off the overlap with NY 28 to Oneonta and simplify signage for drivers to understand in Oneonta.
M-24 through downtown was renumbered BL I-75 along with a connection along Square Lake Road out to the freeway. The next year, the streets downtown Pontiac were reconfigured and a loop called Wide Track Drive was created to route traffic around the downtown area. The former routing of BL I-75 on Perry Street in the downtown core was replaced by routing the business loops on Wide Track Drive. These mites apparently often are symbiotic with the plant, taking shelter in these structures and eating fungi and herbivorous invertebrates that can damage the leaf. The foveolae (also called domatia) are distinctive for Psychotria viridis and a few related species: They are generally long and wide at the top, conical and tapered to a closed base, open and truncate or variously ornamented at the top, and situated along the sides of the central vein with the opening usually near a secondary vein . These foveolae vary in shape among different plants, and in number on individual leaves, and may not even be present on some leaves. Most often each leaf bears at least one pair of foveolae, which may be close to the apex; the foveolae are often more numerous on leaves from vegetative stems than on those from reproductive stems.
Closely resembles Tirumala limniace, Cramer, but is always sufficiently distinct to be easily recognized, even on the wing. From T. limniace it differs on the upperside in the ground colour being darker and the semihyaline markings narrower, more distinct, and of a bluer tint, In the forewing, in interspace 1 the two streaks are narrower, never coalescent, the upper one forming an oval detached spot; the short streaks above vein 5 are outwardly never truncate, always acute. In the hindwing the two streaks if the discoidal cell united at base are wide apart at their apices, the lower one never formed into a hook. On the underside this species is generally darker, the apex of the forewing and the whole of the ground colour of the hindwing not being of the conspicuous golden brown that they are in T. limniace.
The radiolabelled protein-RNA complexes are then excised from nitrocellulose, and treated with proteinase to release the RNA, leaving one or two amino acids at the crosslink site of the RNA. The RNA is then reverse transcribed, causing cDNAs to often truncate at the crosslink site, which is the key insight and unique feature in the development of iCLIP, as it allows identification of the site of RNA-protein interaction at high resolution. Analogous resolution can be obtained with standard HITS-CLIP methods, using the observation that RT that does read through the cross link site has a high error rate, which can be used to deduce the position of the crosslink ("Crosslink induced mutation site" (CIMS) analysis). The small amount of resulting cDNAs is then PCR amplified and sequenced using a next- generation sequencing platform.
The RTA, re-branded as Sound Transit, selected a preferred route for the light rail line in 1999. The northern terminus was to be located on the east side of 15th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 45th Street, and the line would travel south via a tunnel under Portage Bay towards Downtown Seattle and Rainier Valley, ending at the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. Cost over-runs and withheld funding from the federal government led Sound Transit to truncate its initial light rail line to Downtown in 2001, with the segment north to the University District to be built at a later date. In 2004, Sound Transit selected a route for tunneled light rail extensions through Capitol Hill and the University District and towards Northgate, using the Montlake Cut and including a station in the vicinity of Brooklyn Avenue NE and NE 45th Street.
The station's signal box, located at the station's western end at Stewart Avenue, was replaced in the 1960s with a building recognised as Australia's first television-equipped level crossing. Plans to truncate the Newcastle railway line put the future of the station in doubt in the early 21st century, and despite upgrades to the station in 2007, a newly elected government in 2011 committed to the redevelopment of Newcastle's urban developments and public transport network, including the truncation of the Newcastle line past Stewart Avenue. The station was closed as a result, in December 2014, to make way for a redeveloped Wickham station and transport interchange, along with a new light rail network. The station structure was demolished in May 2017 to make way for the new light rail depot to be situated on the site.

There is an oblique blackish-fuscous fascia from the middle of the costa, edged with pale yellowish, centrally suffused with ground colour in the disc, reaching two-thirds of the way across the wing, its apex obliquely truncate. There is also a slightly incurved pale yellowish streak from three-fourths of the costa to the dorsum before the tornus, edged posteriorly by a blackish- fuscous streak.

In order to standardize t‘ai- chi ch‘üan for wushu tournament judging, and because many tai chi teachers have either moved out of China or had been forced to stop teaching after the Chinese Civil War in 1949, the government sponsored the Chinese Sports Committee, who brought together four of their wushu teachers to truncate the Yang family hand form to 24 postures in 1956. They wanted to retain the look of tai chi, but create a routine that would be less difficult to teach and much less difficult to learn than longer (in general, 88 to 108 posture), classical, solo hand forms. In 1976, they developed a slightly longer form also for the purposes of demonstration that still would not involve the complete memory, balance, and coordination requirements of the traditional forms. This became the "Combined 48 Forms" that were created by three wushu coaches, headed by Men Hui Feng.
These small catfish can be distinguished by their general colouring of yellow markings on a brown background. Fishes of the genus Akysis are diagnosed by having tough leathery skin covered with tubercles which are arranged in longitudinal rows along the sides, the anterior margin of the pectoral spine with a notch visible dorsally, the nasals with expansions beyond the canal-bearing teeth, and no palatal teeth. These fish are distinguished from the members of the genus Pseudobagarius by a number of characteristics: these species have a terminal mouth; the posterior and anterior nostrils being smaller and located further apart with a distance between the base of the nasal barbel and anterior nostril; the anterior nostrils are situated at the tip of a short tube; and the caudal fin is truncate or emarginate rather that forked. The maximum adult size of Akysis species is less than 70 millimetres (2.8 in) SL.
Despite the well-established need to replace `strcat` and `strcpy` with functions that do not allow buffer overflows, no accepted standard has arisen. This is partly due to the mistaken belief by many C programmers that `strncat` and `strncpy` have the desired behavior; however, neither function was designed for this (they were intended to manipulate null-padded fixed-size string buffers, a data format less commonly used in modern software), and the behavior and arguments are non-intuitive and often written incorrectly even by expert programmers. The most popular replacement are the `strlcat` and `strlcpy` functions, which appeared in OpenBSD 2.4 in December, 1998. These functions always write one NUL to the destination buffer, truncating the result if necessary, and return the size of buffer that would be needed, which allows detection of the truncation and provides a size for creating a new buffer that will not truncate.
It has commonly been confused with Euphorbia esula, a species no longer considered a permanent component of the North American flora. Euphorbia esula is restricted to certain parts of Europe and not considered a weedy species, while E. virgata is found throughout the United States and Canada and has caused significant economic and ecological impacts. E. virgata is best distinguished from E. esula by its leaves, which are 6-15 times longer than wide with margins that are (near-)parallel at the middle of the blade, while E. esula leaves are wider toward the tip, usually 3-8 times longer than wide, with margins that are not parallel at the middle of the leaf. In addition, the apex of E. virgata is usually acute and the base is truncate to attenuate, while the apex of E. esula is rounded or subacute and the base is more gradually attenuate or cuneate.

A perfectly matched layer (PML) is an artificial absorbing layer for wave equations, commonly used to truncate computational regions in numerical methods to simulate problems with open boundaries, especially in the FDTD and FE methods.S. G. Johnson, Notes on Perfectly Matched Layers, online MIT course notes (Aug. 2007). The key property of a PML that distinguishes it from an ordinary absorbing material is that it is designed so that waves incident upon the PML from a non-PML medium do not reflect at the interface—this property allows the PML to strongly absorb outgoing waves from the interior of a computational region without reflecting them back into the interior. PML was originally formulated by Berenger in 1994 for use with Maxwell's equations, and since that time there have been several related reformulations of PML for both Maxwell's equations and for other wave-type equations, such as elastodynamics, the linearized Euler equations, Helmholtz equations, and poroelasticity.
