The match featured several "extreme" elements including the use of thumbtacks. During the match Koslov bled profusely, which was the first time in his career a match had drawn blood from him. Koslov tried to get the victory with a low blow, a tactic that had earned him a victory against Extreme Tiger at the 2009 Verano de Escandalo, but this time failed as Extreme Tiger wore a protective cup.
Tiger won the match when he pinned Koslov in the middle of a pile of thumbtacks scattered all over the ring. The stipulation of the sixth match was that if Pimpinella Escarlata's team won he would get a spot in Los Wagnermaniacos, if his team lost he had to stop trying to join. Escarlata had hired the help of Los Hermandad 187 (Nicho el Millonario and Joe Líder) in his match against Dr. Wagner Jr., Silver King and Último Gladiador. La Hermandad pinned Último Gladiador, earning an ecstatic Pimpinella Escarlata a spot in Los Wagnermaniacos.
Ray and Devon then sprayed the table with lighter fluid. Devine lit the table on fire before Ray and Devon slammed Abyss through the flaming table off of the stage. The match ended when Team 3D forced Hernandez through a table covered in thumbtacks with their signature 3D tag team maneuver, before Storm spat beer in Devon's eyes and Roode covered Hernandez for the pinfall to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship. The sixth match was a Three Way War between A.J. Styles, Booker T, and Christian Cage that lasted 13 minutes and 5 seconds.
Abyss and Anderson dominated the match early, but eventually Extreme Tiger was able to get away from Abyss and escape the cage. In a two–on–one advantage the TNA team was even more dominant and after more double–teaming, Mr. Anderson eventually climbed out of the cage. Left in the cage with Abyss, Evans managed to dodge his attack, use his speed to take him down and hit him with a 450° splash. Evans attempted to escape the cage, but Abyss stopped him, opened the bag he had entered the cage with and emptied its contents, thumbtacks, on the mat.
While TNA's Sonjay Dutt, Monty Brown and Christian Cage were billed as the main attractions, the match between McDevitt and Flash was considered the highlight of the show with all "the blood & violence that wrestling in Fort Meade Pavilion can provide". Their match include the use of a miniature beer keg as well as thumbtacks, barbed wire and a flaming table. The MEWF Beavyweight Championship was also on the line, however, outside interference from DJ Hyde & JD Michaels would cause him to lose the match. On September 10, McDevitt wrestled Hyde and Michaels in a grudge match at MCW's "Tribute to the Legends".
Educational circuits on blocks of wood TRF radio manufactured by Signal was constructed on a wooden breadboard. QST Magazine August 1922 In the early days of radio, amateurs nailed bare copper wires or terminal strips to a wooden board (often literally a board to slice bread on) and soldered electronic components to them.Description of the term breadboard Sometimes a paper schematic diagram was first glued to the board as a guide to placing terminals, then components and wires were installed over their symbols on the schematic. Using thumbtacks or small nails as mounting posts was also common.
They then look in front of the drainpipe the mouse has hidden in, who ties both cats' tails together and then provokes a chase. The alley cat moves first and drags Tom across the ground, and both cats end up tangled around a tree. Jerry continues running and sets out thumbtacks for the cats to step on; at their speed, they can not avoid the tacks, but manage to survive the podiatric assault and catch Jerry. After a brief fight, a tree stump with an ax on it catches their eyes and they agree to cut Jerry in half.
During the event, Shuten-dōji (Kudo, Yukio Sakaguchi and Masahiro Takanashi) retained the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championship by defeating the team of Ryuichi Sekine, Ryota Nakatsu and Fuminori Abe from Pro-Wrestling Basara, a sub-brand of DDT. In the next match, Yuko Miyamoto defended the DDT Extreme Division Championship against Shunma Katsumatahad in a hardcore match dubbed "Hardcore + α". In this match, various weapons were placed around the ring and each competitor could choose an extra weapon to bring. Miyamoto chose a baseball bat coated in barbed wire, while Katsumata chose a box of thumbtacks.
The Haters were also given masks and costumes that they are forced to wear during all of their matches. At Bloodymania IV, the Haters lost the JCW Tag Team Championship to The Kings of Wrestling in a four way Tag Team match that also featured the Briscoe Brothers and Ring Rydas. At Flashlight Hysteria, the Haters won their third JCW Tag Team Championship in an 8 tag team battle royal. The team lost the championship to Mad Man Pondo and Necro Butcher in a hardcore Barbed Wire, Thumbtacks, and Ladders match at the following event, Hardcore Hell.
The protrusions are arranged in a two dimensional lattice structure, and can be visualized as thumbtacks protruding from the surface. Because the protrusions are fractionally smaller than the operating wavelength, the structure can be described using an effective medium model, and the electromagnetic properties can be described using lumped-circuit elements (capacitors and inductors). They behave as a network of parallel resonant LC circuits, which act as a two- dimensional electric filter to block the flow of currents along the sheet. This structure can then serve as an artificial magnetic conductor (AMC), because of its high surface impedance within a certain frequency range.
The tape is affixed to the trunk at this point via several thumbtacks at this point and allowed to hang freely down the trunk. The exact position of the tack relative to the top of the tree is noted. If the top of the tree was not safely reachable a pole or stick is used to assist in measuring the remaining distance to the high point of the tree. Tree Top Measurement The climber pulls up an extendable pole and uses it to reach to the top of the tree from the point at the upper end of the tape.
In the main event, The Lucha Bros (Fénix and Pentagón Jr.) defended the Impact World Tag Team Championship against The Latin American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) (accompanied by Konnan) in a Full Metal Mayhem match. In the end, Santana stabbed Pentagón Jr. in the head with a fork as both stood on a ladder, with Ortiz following that by powerbombing Pentagón Jr. into a table covered by thumbtacks to win the championship for the fourth time. After the match, both teams hugged, as the Impact's roster came to the ring to celebrate with The Latin American Xchange.
The match ended after Abyss pushed the interfering Daffney off the top rope through a barbed-wire board (giving her a legit concussion), Black Hole Slammed the enraged Dr. Stevie onto a pile of thumbtacks and slammed Foley onto the barbed wire board. He covered Foley, pulled an unconscious Dr. Stevie over, and used his hand to count the pinfall. Two weeks later, Stevie assaulted Abyss after losing a match to him; Foley turned on him and saved Abyss. The next week, Foley explained he had manipulated Dr. Stevie all along and had challenged Abyss to test how tough he really was.
The song was first recorded by Jim Lowe, whose version reached number one on the US pop chart. The lyrics describe the allure of a mysterious private club with a green door, behind which "a happy crowd" play piano, smoke and "laugh a lot", and inside which the singer is not allowed. "Green Door" was backed by the orchestra of songwriter Davie, with Davie also playing piano, and by the vocal group the High Fives. The track was arranged by Davie, who added thumbtacks to the hammers of his piano and sped up the tape to give a honky- tonk sound.
Styles pinned Abyss after Tomko had slammed him onto a pile of thumbtacks and broken glass. The following week Abyss and Sting defeated Cage and Styles in a ladder match, after an assist from the debuting Andrew Martin. By winning the match, Abyss could make a match against Cage, picking a Doomsday Chamber of Blood match at Hard Justice with Abyss teaming with Sting and Martin to face Cage, Tomko, and Styles. At Hard Justice, Abyss' team would win the match when Abyss pinned Styles, thus earning Abyss the number one contendership to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
He later performed a chokeslam on Mankind through the roof of the cell into the ring which legitimately knocked Mankind unconscious. Mankind also used thumbtacks in the match and was hit by a back body drop and another chokeslam onto them before Undertaker won the match with the Tombstone Piledriver. At Fully Loaded: In Your House, The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kane and Mankind to win the WWF World Tag Team Championship. The Undertaker and Austin's reign as tag team champions lasted for only two weeks, as Kane and Mankind regained the titles on the August 10 episode of Raw.
Its largest industries were shipbuilding, porcelain and pottery, and glassworks, but the area had other industrial concerns such as brass and iron foundries; breweries; drug plants; book, furniture, box, and boiler makers; sugar refineries; and machine shops. The Eberhard Faber factory itself manufactured other items, which according to The New York Times included "eyebrow pencils, eyeliners, fountain pens, thumbtacks and pencil cases". Eberhard Faber died in 1879, soon after the company's move to Brooklyn. The company would become one of the world's largest pencil makers and would continue to operate the Brooklyn factory during this time, though it also opened factories in other locations such as Argentina, Canada, and Germany.
After that, Joey Janela, Darby Allin, and Jimmy Havoc competed in a three-way hardcore match sponsored by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, dubbed the Cracker Barrel Clash. Early in the match, Janela and Allin duct-taped Havoc to a chair, put thumbtacks in his mouth and taped it shut. Later, Allin attempted a suicide fall with the sponsor's barrel positioned on top of Havoc, who was laying on steel steps, but Havoc moved, causing Allin to crush through the barrel on top of the steel steps. In the end, Havoc performed an Acid Rainmaker through a barrel on Janela to win the match.
Abyss won the match for La Sociedad by pinning Líder after Black Hole Slamming him onto a pile of thumbtacks and afterwards also slammed Tiger onto them. This led to a Monster's Ball match on July 31 at Verano de Escándalo, where Chessman defeated Abyss, Líder and Tiger. On September 11, La Sociedad co-leader Konnan announced that on October 9 at Héroes Inmortales, Abyss and Chessman would challenge Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans for the AAA World Tag Team Championship. At the pay-per-view, Abyss and Chessman defeated Tiger and Evans in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to become the new AAA World Tag Team Champions.

The reign was short lived, however, as Summers signed a contract with Ring of Honor, forcing Pondo to team with several partners before losing the title at a live event in Cleveland, Ohio on January 26, 2008. Summers returned to Juggalo Championship Wrestling at Big Ballas X-Mas Party 2009 where he teamed with Pondo to face The Thomaselli Brothers. Abyss was pulled under the ring and Sting was slammed into broken glass by Tomko, before Abyss emerged bleeding badly and was slammed into the broken glass and thumbtacks. The following week, Sting and Abyss got revenge by defeating Christian Cage and A.J. Styles in a ladder match, in the process earning a contract that allowed them to pick the type of match between Abyss and Christian at Hard Justice. Sting's team won in a "Doomsday Chamber of Blood" match, with Abyss pinning A.J. Styles to become the number one contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. After that, Sting started a feud with the TNA World Champion Kurt Angle.
The match began on the outside as Styles performed a front-flip onto Abyss, who was standing in the doorway of the cage. Later, as Styles was about to enter the cage, Abyss slammed the door twice into Styles, while the second door slam the second hit him in the face and caused him to crash to the floor and to bleed from the forehead. During the contest, Abyss used a steel chain as a weapon to help open up Styles' wound more. The python tells Candy and Tristam to treat her as a human nanny, ironically consenting to the children's behaviour and removing any fear they had of snakes. They burned her tail in boiling water, tied her up and dunked her head in the toilet, made her slither over thumbtacks, and left her in the garden for birds to peck at her. When their parents arrived home at 6 pm, the python slithered out of the house as fast as she could, but when the parents confront the children, Tristram claims that the python tried to strangle him. The next morning, Mrs Frightfully-Busy telephones a complaint to Animal Magic, who promises to send a better nanny.
Hall attacked Robinson from behind, then placed him on the top turnbuckle and performed a super back suplex. He then attempted to hit his signature Razor's Edge by placing Robinson's head between his thighs, but Robinson countered with a forearm to the groin. After another attack to the groin and an eye poke, Robinson locked in a Cobra clutch and hooked his foot behind Hall's leg before throwing himself backwards, forcing Hall backwards into the tray of thumbtacks for the win. The final main event was a Six Man Tag Team match between Insane Clown Posse and Sabu and the team of Trent Acid and The Young Alter Boys, who were accompanied by Annie Social the Nun.
The game's plot concerns a diminutive prince on a mission to rebuild the stars, constellations, and Moon, which were inadvertently destroyed by his father, the King of All Cosmos. This is achieved by rolling a magical, highly adhesive ball called a katamari around various locations, collecting increasingly larger objects, ranging from thumbtacks to people to mountains until the ball has grown great enough to become a star. Katamari Damacy story, characters, and settings are bizarre and heavily stylized, rarely attempting any semblance of realism, though the brands and items used are based on those current in Japan during the game's production. Overall, Katamari Damacy was well received in Japan and North America.
Professional wrestling in the U.S. entered a boom period during the The Attitude Era, where wrestling became increasingly focused on adult-oriented content, including an increase in the level of depicted violence on-screen. Meanwhile, the independent promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling became well-known for their violent "Hardcore matches" which featured items such as thumbtacks, barbed wire, and other improvised weapons used as foreign objects. Wrestlers such as Mankind became popular for their high-risk stunts, which exerted a strong influence on the wrestling fan base. This rise in violence was not without controversy, and WWE began airing advertisements stressing the dangers and seeking to deter fans from duplicating the actions seen in their ring.
A tack piano (also known as a harpsipiano, jangle piano, and junk piano) is an altered version of an ordinary piano, in which objects such as thumbtacks or nails are placed on the felt-padded hammers of the instrument at the point where the hammers hit the strings, giving the instrument a tinny, more percussive sound. It is used to evoke the feeling of a honky-tonk piano (a piano in which one or more strings of each key are slightly detuned). Tack pianos are commonly associated with ragtime pieces, often appearing in Hollywood Western saloon scenes featuring old upright pianos. The instrument was originally used for classical music performances as a substitute for a harpsichord.
Some time after getting up and being attended to again by the aforementioned personnel, TV cameras showed a lingering shot of Foley smiling through his profusely bleeding mouth and lips, with a loose tooth hanging beneath his nose; the tooth having been knocked out due to being struck by the chair which had fallen through the cage and landed on his face, dislocating his jaw.Foley, Have A Nice Day!, p. 657 The match continued for a while longer, ending with Foley being chokeslammed by the Undertaker onto a pile of thumbtacks, which Foley himself had strewn onto the ring canvas, and The Undertaker executing the Tombstone Piledriver to end the match and the feud as planned.
A few weeks later, he entered the 2001 King of Chaos tournament and made it to the finals where Ferraro lost to Ali Mohammed in a four-way match with Jamie Paine and Nemesis. This was the first-ever "hardcore" match held in New England to use a no-rope barbed wire ring, light tubes, fire, a bed of nails, thumbtacks, and foreign objects. On June 23, he also teamed with Short Sleeve Sampson in a losing effort against The One Night Stand at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Methuen, Massachusetts. Ferraro regained the heavyweight title from Fuller in a Lights Out match on the July 13th edition of Friday Night Chaos.
Christopher Daniels won the Ultimate X Challenge match to become the new TNA X Division Champion at Destination X. Abyss fought Jeff Hardy in a Falls Count Anywhere match next, lasting 15 minutes and 48 seconds. Midway through the match, Hardy placed Abyss on two wooden tables, climbed up to the rafters ten feet above, then performed a somersault onto Abyss through both tables. Hardy claimed victory in the contest after slamming Abyss into a ladder by using his signature maneuver the Twist of Fate. After the contest, Abyss attacked Hardy, covered the ring in thumbtacks, and used his signature maneuver the Black Hole Slam to drive Hardy into the tacks back first.
Scruggs style also involves using picks on three digits, each plucking individual strings — downward with the thumb, then upward with the index and middle finger in sequence. When done skillfully and in rapid sequence, the style allows any digit (though usually the thumb) to play a melody, while the other two digits play arpeggios of the melody line. The use of picks gives each note a louder percussive attack, creating an exciting effect, described by The New York Times as "like thumbtacks plinking rhythmically on a tin roof". This departure from traditional playing elevated the banjo to become more of a solo instrument—a promotion from its former role of providing background rhythm or serving as a comedian's prop—and popularized the instrument in several genres of music.
As objects stick to the katamari, the katamari will grow, eventually allowing objects that were once hurdles to be picked up, and creating access to areas that were formerly blocked. In this manner, the player might start the game by picking up thumbtacks and ants, and slowly work up to the point where the katamari is picking up buildings, mountains, and clouds. The typical mission given by the King of All Cosmos is the "Make a Star" mode, where the player needs to grow the katamari to a specific size within a given time frame. Other missions have more specific collecting rules, such as collecting as many items (swans, crabs, pairs) as possible within a given time, or collecting the largest item possible (such as a cow or bear).
He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2013. Foley has wrestled under his real name and various personas. His main persona during his time in WCW and ECW from 1991 to 1996 was Cactus Jack, a bloodthirsty and uncompromisingly physical brawler from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico who wore cowboy boots and often wrestled with sharp and/or solid metallic objects, such as barbed wire, thumbtacks, or metal trashcans. When Foley got to the WWF in 1996, he debuted the persona known as Mankind, a masked, mentally deranged loner who stuffed a smelly gym sock in his opponents' mouths and spent his spare time dwelling in boiler rooms; and later Foley debuted Dude Love, a relaxed, fun-loving, jive-talking, tie-dyed shirt-wearing hippie.
The "Ultimate Jeopardy" Steel Cage matches were held in ECW Ultimate Jeopardy of 1994 between team of Shane Douglas, Mr. Hughes and The Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) and a team of Terry Funk (c), Road Warrior Hawk, Kevin Sullivan and The Tazmaniac for the ECW World Heavyweight Championship and ECW December to Dismember (1995) between the team of The Public Enemy, The Pitbulls and Tommy Dreamer and the team of The Heavenly Bodies, The Eliminators, Raven and Stevie Richards. At 1999 ECW CyberSlam between a team of The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley) and Mr. Mustafa and team of New Jack, Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney inside the single war games-style steel cage filled with weapons such as tables, bucket of thumbtacks, etc.
The match started with Tara beating down the champion; once Tara was about to win, Love's associate, Velvet Sky, would use hairspray to blind Tara before Love took her down with a facebuster, called Lights Out, to retain the title. Abyss and Taylor Wilde's Monster's Ball match against Raven and Daffney started with Abyss attacking Daffney before throwing her onto Raven and Dr. Stevie, who was in their corner; this was followed by Wilde diving onto her three adversaries. The women would proceed to brawl their way to the entrance ramp, with Wilde performing another dive onto Daffney, as Abyss would retrieve a bag of thumbtacks, spilling its contents onto the mat. This would lead to the women returning to the ring for Wilde to throw her opponent onto them.
The Tournament of Death is an annual professional wrestling tournament organised by Combat Zone Wrestling since 2002, during which a number of wrestlers compete in various deathmatches in what are mostly single- elimination tournaments similar to World Wrestling Entertainment's King of the Ring tournament. These tournaments include the typical hardcore weapons used in deathmatch wrestling such as barbed wire, nails, thumbtacks, fire, tables, ladders, and light tubes, and are known for all their large amounts of blood loss. Notable entrants in the Tournament of Death have included Jimmy Havoc, Ian Rotten, Corporal Robinson, Nick Mondo, Ruckus, Eddie Kingston, Jon Moxley and Mickie Knuckles (the only female entrant to date). Many of the cards have also included non-tournament matches featuring top independent wrestlers such as Sonjay Dutt, Nick Berk, Trent Acid, The Blackout and B-Boy.
Although his general move-set stayed the same save for one or two moves that were used by each character, Foley would have different motions and even different catchphrases for each character (Cactus Jack: "Bang Bang!", Mankind: "Have a Nice Day!", Dude Love: "Owwww, Have Mercy!"). When developing the Mankind character he would spend whole nights under the wrestling ring or in that week's arena's boiler room. In addition, as he had been in his previous days in different wrestling circuits, Foley, the "Hardcore Legend" was often involved in the Attitude Era's most violent and dangerous matches, including hardcore matches that took place outside the ring and matches that sometimes even involved sharp objects such as barbed wire, thumbtacks, broken glass and also various blunt objects- and most of Foley’s matches included at least one dangerous bump.
Abyss made an appearance at the same tapings, teaming with Chessman and Último Gladiador to face Joe Líder and AAA World Tag Team Champions Extreme Tiger and Jack Evans in a six man tag team match. Abyss won the match by pinning Líder after Black Hole Slamming him onto a pile of thumbtacks and afterwards also slammed Tiger onto them. On July 20, AAA announced that at Verano de Escándalo Abyss, Chessman, Extreme Tiger and Joe Líder would compete in a Monster's Ball match, Abyss' signature match from TNA. Surprisingly, it was announced by not only AAA, but also by Ticketmaster a few days prior to the promotion's official announcement, that the match would be for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship, despite the fact that Abyss was over the cruiserweight weight limit and that, up until the announcement, Jack Evans was the reigning Cruiserweight Champion.
In CZW dubs the Hardcore match as "Ultraviolent Rules" match, the hardcore-style matches that could involve and emphasize ladders, tables, chairs, thumbtacks, barbed wire, light tubes, glass boards, fire, staple guns, and the spirits of Combat Zone Wrestling. In JCW, "Juggalo Rules" match, the Hardcore-style matches that emphasize the spirit of Juggalo Championship Wrestling. Other euphemisms, such as the Good Housekeeping match and Full Metal Mayhem, emphasize the use of certain foreign objects as being legal (the former with kitchen implements and the latter with metallic objects). In a Fans Bring the Weapons match, wrestlers fight with "weapons" that members of the audience bring to the venue (most often brought are standard kitchen household appliances, like frying pans, toasters, or rolling pins, although its not unusual that fans occasionally bring in items that are far more improbable, like an artificial leg or LEGO); this was popularized in the United States by ECW and is now a specialty in Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW).
The Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South King of the Deathmatch is an annual professional wrestling tournament running since 1997 in which a number of wrestlers compete in various deathmatches, in (for the most part) a single- elimination tournament which is similar to World Wrestling Entertainment's King of the Ring tournament. These tournaments include the typical weapons used in hardcore wrestling such as barbed wire, nails, thumbtacks, fire, and light tubes, and are known for their large amount of blood loss. Notable entrants in the King of the Deathmatch tournaments have included Ian Rotten, Axl Rotten, Necro Butcher, Mad Man Pondo, Chris Hero, Balls Mahoney, Nick Mondo, and Mickie Knuckles. Many of the cards have also included non- tournament matches featuring top indy wrestlers such as Nigel McGuinness, Colt Cabana, CM Punk, Tracy Smothers, Homicide, Jerry Lynn, Jimmy Jacobs, Alex Shelley, Sonjay Dutt, B.J. Whitmer, Matt Sydal, Delirious, Arik Cannon, Ray Gordy, Low Ki, Daizee Haze and MsChif.
On the December 27, 1999 episode of Raw, Mick Foley and the Rock had a "Pink Slip on a Pole match", where whoever was first to grab the pink slip first stayed in WWF with the loser having to leave, in which Foley lost. Foley then reverted to his Cactus Jack persona in January 2000 and faced Triple H for the WWF Championship at Royal Rumble in a Street Fight. Cactus used a 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire, and thumbtacks- trademark weapons from his pre-WWF days, but Triple H won the match after delivering two pedigrees, the second slamming Cactus face-first onto a pile of tacks. This feud culminated with a rematch at No Way Out in a Hell in a Cell match, where stipulations held that Cactus Jack could not use foreign metallic objects he used in the Royal Rumble, and if he did not win the title, Foley had to retire from wrestling.
Hardcore wrestling is a subset of professional wrestling in which some or all of the traditional rules do not apply. Most often this simply means there are no-disqualifications, which itself eliminates countouts, sometimes allowing decisions to take place anywhere. Other common euphemisms for hardcore matches are "street fight" (which suggests wrestlers are to dress in normal street clothes), "extreme rules" match, "ultraviolent rules" match (hardcore rules matches exclusively in CZW that usually involve ladders, tables, steel folding chairs, thumbtacks, barbed wire, weed whackers, light tubes, and fire), HardKore X-Treme match (A version of the hardcore match except weapons include flaming tables, flaming chairs, razor wire, sheets of glass and weapons wrapped in barbed wire), no holds barred match, and the "good housekeeping" match (which emphasized the use of kitchen implements as weapons). Some promotions, such as Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, the International Wrestling Association of Japan, International Wrestling Syndicate, Extreme Championship Wrestling, Big Japan Pro Wrestling, and Combat Zone Wrestling, have specialized in hardcore matches, with "standard" non-hardcore matches being the exception.
The show then cut to elsewhere in the Temple, where El Dragon Azteca arrived to rescue Black Lotus, but was interrupted by Dario Cueto, who threatened that El Dragon Azteca must die for violating the treaty on not entering the Temple. Suddenly, Black Lotus turned on El Dragon Azteca (due to thinking he murdered her parents) and seemingly killed him with a palm strike to his spine. Cueto freed Black Lotus to form an alliance, saying that her action had 'started a war', it was 'too dangerous' in the current Temple and they must flee to a new Temple along with Matanza. The next bout was a Cero Miedo match between Vampiro and Pentagon Jr. The match featured Pentagon repeatedly hitting Vampiro with a chair and performing an Attitude Adjustment on the exposed concrete floor, Vampiro being stretchered away but choosing to continue, both men landing back-first onto thumbtacks, both men bleeding heavily after being smashed with light tubes, Vampiro tearing Pentagon's mask, as well as blood-licking.
These eliminations which will occurred in that would happen when a wrestler would hit the arena floor; however, Cage of Death 5 also had rules that the wrestlers who were not tossed out of or off the cage, that they could travel a scaffold hanging above another ring filled with thumbtacks to safety, scoring points for the team. For Cage of Death 6 there were eliminations that would happen when a wrestler would hit the arena floor much like Cage of Death 5 the year before, the difference being that the tag team titles were hanging on a scaffold stretched across the length of the top of the cage overlooking the two rings, plus all weapons littered around double caged ring. Cage of Death 7 just had standard pinfall and submissions after all combatants entered the cage. For 2008's Cage of Death, the large eight-sided cage that surrounds the entire ringside area with a barbwire spidernet setup on one side and glass setup on another side with tables underneath and two scaffold platforms across the ring from each other.
