In trying to determine the impact of new media on political campaigning and electioneering, the existing research has tried to examine whether new media supplants conventional media. Television is still the dominant news source, but new media's reach is growing. What is known is that new media has had a significant impact on elections and what began in the 2008 presidential campaign established new standards for how campaigns would be run. Since then, campaigns also have their outreach methods by developing targeted messages for specific audiences that can be reached via different social media platforms.

Essential Oils is a two-disc compilation album by Australian rock band Midnight Oil released in November 2012. The compilation covers Midnight Oil's entire career, starting with their 1978 self-titled album, and includes tracks from all their studio albums and EPs. Given its comprehensive track list, the two-disc Essential Oils effectively supplants Midnight Oil's previous greatest-hits compilation, 1997's one-disc album 20,000 Watt R.S.L. There is only one track on 20,000 Watt R.S.L. ("What Goes On") that is not included on Essential Oils. L'Annalistique romaine is a three-volume collection of scholarly editions of fragmentary Roman historical texts edited by Martine Chassignet, a professor of history and specialist in historiography at Nancy 2 University. Begun in 1996, the series was completed in 2004. The Pennine Way crosses Fountains Fell about a third of a mile north of the summit. For the northbound walker this is from the start of the way at Edale, and is the first point where the way climbs higher than Kinder Scout's which was reached soon after the start. It is along the Pennine Way from Malham village to the summit of Fountains Fell, the route climbing up beside the dramatic cliffs of Malham Cove and passing Malham Tarn before climbing up the east side of the fell. The route continues down the western slopes of the fell and ascends the southern ridge of Pen-y-ghent, reached after : this summit of then supplants Fountains Fell as the highest point yet reached on the Pennine Way.

Hythlodaeus asserts that a man who refuses to believe in a god or an afterlife could never be trusted, because he would not acknowledge any authority or principle outside himself.

Edcel Lagman filed in the Supreme Court separate petitions for certiorari and prohibition assailing the constitutionality of E.O. 1 based on their belief that the creation of the PTC constitutes usurpation of the legislative power to create public office, threatens the independence of the Office of the Ombudsman, and violates the equal protection clause of the Philippine Constitution for specifically targeting certain officials of the Arroyo administration.
