Ciaramella obtained the Laurea in Electronic Engineering and the Post-Laurea in 1969 at La Sapienza University in Rome with prof. Antonio Ruberti as supervisor of his thesis. Then, he joined CSELT as a research engineer. In 1975 he patented at CSELT one of the first architecture-independent bootstrap devices that allowed the Gruppi Speciali (the first electronic Italian telephone switch and the most advanced project in Italian in the seventiesLuigi Bonavoglia, CSELT: Trent'anni, 1994 Ed. STET) to start up by pushing a single button from a ROM memory in case of failure.

Stet struggles to fit in, because the other pupils are privileged children, and he cannot read music. Stet’s behaviour is also problematic for some of the staff. However, he works hard, learning music theory and practicing his vocal technique, and becomes one of the best singers, which allows him to join on the choir’s tours. Stet's father’s family receives tickets, anonymously sent by the academy, for an important performance of the choir. Stet’s father does not want to go, for fear of revealing his secret son, but the family attend.

The structured editing facilities of STET are based on the concept that each file is represented as a collection of named blocks of lines. A block is created from an (anonymous) marked group of lines by the command (for example) '`form commands`'. This command creates the block with name 'COMMANDS' and replaces the group of lines with a single line with a reference to COMMANDS, identified by its first non-blank character being some special character, by default '`)`'. Stet (2006), Chapman's most ambitious book to date, takes the form of a bitter "Russian novel" about an ecstatic and weirdly oblivious Soviet filmmaker and painter, who ends up in prison camp as punishment for his private and antisocial tendencies. How is This Going to Continue? (2007), a shorter work in the form of an oratorio libretto, seems to carry the artist-figure, a composer this time, further into private grief and alienation. The subject of this "libretto" is the death of the composer's wife, followed by the composer's own death.

Holmes in Finland in 2014 In 2010, he joined Where Angels Suffer with Randy Piper on guitar, Steve Unger (Metal Church) on bass, Rich Lewis (Animal), on vocals, and Stet Howland on drums (Blackfoot, Lita Ford, Killing Machine, Belladonna, Impellitteri, Sister and W.A.S.P.). Ira Black has since replaced Piper. The band toured Europe for the first time in 2011. On November 26, 2012, Chris Holmes released his first solo album Nothing to Lose and decided to produce, manage and distribute it himself along with his wife Catherine Holmes.

From 1994 to 1997 Di Vignano was general manager of Telecom Italia, responsible for the International, Business Customer and Residential Customer Divisions. In 1997, as CEO of STET - Società Finanziaria Telefonica, he successfully completed the merge of the company with Telecom Italia. In 1997 he was appointed CEO of Telecom Italia and guided the process of complete privatization of the Group. From 1999 to 2002 he held the post of Managing Director of the multiutility ACEGAS SpA in Trieste, and managed the process of privatization of that company, up through its placement on the stock market.

In June 2008, Ford re-emerged with a new band with Stet Howland (WASP) on drums, playing several warm-up gigs under the moniker Kiss Me Deadly prior to Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma. In June 2009, she toured the United States and Europe with a new line-up on her last 14 shows consisting of former Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron 'Bumblefoot' Thal, drummer Dennis Leeflang, and Deepfield bassist PJ Farley. After a long recording hiatus, Ford released the new album Wicked Wonderland on 6 October 2009, on the JLRG Entertainment label. In an interview with ExclusiveMagazine.

Originally, the band was known as The Stetson Brothers, after Stetson hats. There were three MCs, Wise the Human Mix Machine, and Prince Paul. The Stetson Brothers changed its name and style to Stetsasonic the Hip-Hop Band and clinched a deal with Tommy Boy Records when DBC came up with and played the funky bassline for its debut single "If You Can't Say It All Just Say STET", live for Tom Silverman, owner of Tommy Boy Records. After a few months of the single being in regular rotation on radio stations, the band released its first album On Fire (1986).

When that manuscript was sent by Pocket Books for approval by Paramount Studios, the pages with the slash fiction were marked to be edited out of the eventual novel. It was returned, but at the time Pocket Books were between editors as Mimi Panich had just left, and her replacement Karen Haas had not yet arrived. At some point, someone went through the manuscript and marked the pages which Paramount had asked to be removed with the letters "STET", which is a Latin term used by proofreaders to tell the printer to disregard earlier changes. Pocket Books published 250,000 copies of Killing Time in the first print run.

Centro Studi e Laboratori Telecomunicazioni (CSELT) was an Italian research center for telecommunication based in Torino, the biggest in Italy and one of the most important in Europe. It played a major role internationally especially in the standardization of protocols and technologies in telecommunication: perhaps the most widely well known is the standardization of mp3. It was active from 1964 to 2001, initially as a part of the Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale-STET – Società Finanziaria Telefonica group, the major conglomerate of Italian public Industries in the 1960s and 1970s; it later became part of Telecom Italia Group. In 2001 was renamed TILAB as part of Telecom Italia Group.

In 1995, STET initiated a joint venture with Siemens for the control of Italtel through a newly funded company called "Telsi". In this process, Siemens Telecomunicazioni was merged into Italtel. In the late 1990s, Italtel ceded to Siemens all its radio and mobile-related activities, and in turn Siemens sold its 50% share of Telsi to Telecom Italia, which thus ended up owning, either directly or indirectly, 100% if Italtel.

At the end of the Thirty Years' War much of the surrounding area was devastated and the forest spread again. Esaote was founded in Genoa in 1982 as a division of Biomedical Electronics Ansaldo Ansaldo SpA. In 1984, its activities with those of Elsag SpA converge in Esacontrol. In 1986 STET acquires Tuscan Officine Elettromeccaniche Biomedica - OTE Biomedica Elettronica SpA and in 1988 moved to the Finmeccanica which shall merge it with the biomedical sector Esacontrol, giving rise to Esaote Biomedica SpA, created by Elsag, Selenia and Ansaldo (hence the ' acronym ESA). Privatized by the state in 1994, it changed its name to Esaote SpA and two years later was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, which was released in 2003 following a takeover bid for 100% of the share capital sponsored by Bracco SpA, already the majority shareholder since 1998 through Bracco Holding NV. At SFLC, he assisted Eben Moglen, Richard Stallman, and Richard Fontana in the drafting of the GPLv3, and managed the production of the software system for the GPLv3 Comment Process, called stet. Prodi with Minister Luigi Granelli in 1985 In 1982–1989 Prime Minister Giovanni Spadolini appointed Prodi President of the influential state-owned industrial holding company Institute for Industrial Reconstruction (IRI). He was the first economist to lead the IRI. During his presidency Prodi approved the sale of twenty-nine companies in the group (the largest one was Alfa Romeo, which was privatized in 1986), the reduction of the number of employees, the liquidation of Finsider, Italsider and Italstat companies, extraordinary operations in important companies like STET and Finmeccanica and the attempted sale of Southern Electricity Company (SME) to the CIR group of Carlo De Benedetti; however this operation was heavily hindered by the government of Bettino Craxi. A group of entrepreneurs, including Silvio Berlusconi, made an alternative bid to block the sale; the offer was not honored for financial shortcomings, but the sale of SME blocked.

Stet was the first software system known to be released under the GNU AGPL, on November 21, 2007, and is the only known program to be used mainly for the production of its own license. The SSPL has been rejected by the Open Source Initiative and banned by both Debian and the Fedora Project, citing that the license's intent is to discriminate against cloud computing providers offering services based on the software without purchasing its commercial license.

D'Anda went on to tour with George Lynch as part of Lynch Mob and opening up for Dio around the states during 2001. In 2009 D'Anda played drums for former Warrant singer Jani Lane doing shows in California, New Mexico and Nevada.
