That year, the new lineup of the Viletones appeared at the concert The Last Pogo, filmed at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto May 1, 1978, and became a feature film documentary, which was followed by a sequel in 2013. At the Rock Against Radiation concert in Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto, on July 19, 1980, The Viletones shared a bill with DOA, Stark Naked and The Fleshtones, Forgotten Rebels and Joe College and The Rulers. In 1983, The Viletones released their first full-length album, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, recorded live at Larry's Hideaway in Toronto.

The reunion interrupted Way's new band, Stark Naked and the Car Thieves, and since the bass slot for Curved Air needed filling, Way brought along the new band's bassist, Phil Kohn. The reunion tour saw Sonja Kristina play her role as Curved Air's sex symbol far more dramatically than she had before. Between the band's previous breakup and the reunion tour she had worked as a croupier at the London Playboy Club and returned to the stage with Curved Air in see through lace, feathers and beads, highlighting her sexuality. A live album and single were recorded during the lauded three week reunion tour, and they succeeded in paying off the tax bill.

The novel consists of two long letters (which appear as volumes I and II of the original edition) written by Frances 'Fanny' Hill, a rich Englishwoman in her middle age, who leads a life of contentment with her loving husband Charles and their children, to an unnamed acquaintance identified only as 'Madam.' Fanny has been prevailed upon by 'Madam' to recount the 'scandalous stages' of her earlier life, which she proceeds to do with 'stark naked truth' as her governing principle. The first letter begins with a short account of Fanny's impoverished childhood in a Lancashire village. At age 14, she loses her parents to smallpox, arrives in London to look for domestic work, and gets lured into a brothel.

Depicted are two wrestlers – one younger and one older – who are wrestling in the Greek style [stark naked so no grabbing hold of any piece of clothing can take place]. The younger wrestler is identified as having no beard and having a slimmer torso while the older wrestler has a beard, an identifying marker for advanced age in a male, and a thicker upper body. Placed between the two wrestlers are three bowls of different colors, perhaps representing a silver, bronze and copper bowl, that are positioned one top of each other and are most likely the prize for the winner, as described in the Iliad. To the left of the younger wrestler presides the agonothetes, the referee, who watches over the match.

After his death on 20 April 1993, an exhibition was held in Sligo Art Gallery and in Siamsa Tíre, Tralee in 1994.His work is in many private and corporate collections in Ireland, the U.K. and U.S.A.and the Crawford Municipal Art Gallery six of his paintings in its permanent collection. One of these paintings "The Fiddler" has been the inspiration for two musical compositions; Serendipity by Philip Martin, and Colourvision by John Gibson (Commissioned by Tableaux Networks, Cork Institute of Technology), and poem of the same title by Aiden Murphy published in the collection "Stark Naked Blues". In the 1996 James Adam's "Important Irish Art" auction, a special section of the catalogue featured his work describing him as "Cork's finest Twentieth Century painter".

"Stay Ready" and "Strange Things Happen", in much different arrangements, were originally released on Stewart Copeland's alter ego Klark Kent's "Kollected Works", with the latter also appearing on the soundtrack of The Texas Chain Massacre 2. "Zombies in the Mall" derives from a tune Copeland wrote for the soundtrack of Spyro the Dragon called "Louis". A song called "Stark Naked" was performed by Curved Air in 1975, during the time Copeland was part of the band, and released in 1995 on "Live at the BBC" but it bears little to no resemblance to the tune of the same name included in this album. Elio, the frontman of the Italian band Elio e le Storie Tese, in which Cosma is currently a touring member, guest stars as a lead vocalist and lyricist on "Zubatta Cheve".

As expert witness, medical professor and forensic pathologist Philip Beh (Beh Swan-lip) challenged the suggestion that Chan had drowned herself. The scenes where Karl and Hans are driving the fancy sports cars were meant to not only to represent the car culture in Germany but also to give the audience a taste of freedom, a hint of the same experience as Karl. After one particular evening the two are driving down the autobahn stark naked and upon reaching their destination Hans puts on Karl’s clothes instead of his own. The two characters switching clothes is not just done for comedic purposes but also to symbolize the new “role” Karl has assumed during this assignment given to him by his ‘real’ boss back at the insurance company. He is symbolically walking in the shoes of Hans. The conversation between Karl and Stelle where they converse in Spanish in front of Hans, who doesn’t speak Spanish and is unaware of what is happening, is important because it marks the point where the lonely, quiet Karl is finally stepping out of his shell and opening up.

Lau Yin-kai, the man who discovered the body, said that he and his son went fishing on a boat at 10 AM on 22 September 2019 near Devil's Peak, after which they saw the body floating in the water. Marine Police Superintendent Man Wai-cheung, who examined the body after it was airlifted to a marine police base in Sai Wan Ho on 22 September 2019, said that he did not find significant injuries on the body that could have caused death. Police Constable Chan Kwok-wing said that his superior, Man Wai-cheung, ruled the case as suspicious as the body was stark naked, but Man denied that he made such a classification as he could not give a preliminary finding on the circumstances of death due to the body's decomposed state and lack of apparent fatal injuries.
