Tony 'The Tiger' Scullion (born 6 February 1962) is a former Irish dual player who played Gaelic football and hurling with Derry in the 1980s and 1990s. The Horn, Polkemmet Country Park "The Horn" is a high sculpture, located at the north-east corner of the country park, beside the M8 motorway. The stainless steel sculpture was commissioned by West Lothian Council, and was designed by artists Matthew Dalziel and Louise Scullion. In 1999, Hall of Famer Mike Gartner, friends of one of the founding members, suggested the tournament be turned into a Pro-am where amateur players could play alongside NHL Alumni and Olympians, forming the structure of the current day tournaments. The tournament has received media exposure from numerous outlets, including Hockey Night in Canada.

Stewart McNab Adam Scullion (born 18 April 1946) is a Scottish former footballer, who played as a winger. Born in Bo'ness, Scotland, he started his professional career in the Football League, helping Watford to the Third Division title, and then spending three seasons at Sheffield United. After a second spell at Watford, he joined Tampa Bay Rowdies in the North American Soccer League. He was their second highest goalscorer in his first season, and in both years was named in the league's second All-star team.

The Fulham Irish Hurling Team defeated Granuaille in the London Intermediate Championship Final in 2012 to gain promotion to the top tier of London Hurling. The team completed a remarkable journey for the Club by joining the Senior ranks of the London Hurling fraternity in only their 2nd year of existence. Managed by Dublin Man, Anthony Scullion, they won the London Intermediate Championship at the second time of asking. They had lost the final by the narrowest of margins in their first year in 2011.

Regarded as one of the best Derry minor players of all time, McCusker was called up at age 17 to the Derry's senior team during the 1988 National Football League by then manager Tom Scullion. As a condition of consent associated with the development of the neighbouring Randwick Plaza, Sandgate was transferred to Randwick Council in 1982. During the 1980s the building was restored and in September 1987 the then mayor of Randwick, Ald. She was a co- founder in 1985 of Woman of Hope, which provides permanent residences and support services for homeless mentally ill women. Born in Cobh, County Cork, Ireland into a musical family, by the age of thirteen White was playing in school bands and by seventeen playing professionally. He went to London in 1970 – where he stayed for about two years – to busk and perfect his unique style of singing and guitar accompaniment. Together with Philip King and Sonny Condell in 1974 he formed a popular folk rock/jazz fusion group that started out as an occasional band called The Sunday Night Band. The following year, after White had left the band, it morphed into Scullion.

At Villa, he was part of the 2002 FA Youth Cup winning side, but was unable to break into the first team. David returned home and joined home town club Glenavon, before moving to Dungannon Swifts in 2003. Under Joe McAree, Scullion was a key member of the Dungannon Swifts team and played a huge role in guiding the club to a 4th-place finish in the Carling Premier league (Now the Danske Bank NIFL Premiership) in the 2005/06 campaign and with that success brought Dungannon Swifts Setanta cup football and the season after the club's first ever European outing against Icelandic Opposition. David was also a key member of Roy Millar's Northern Ireland Under 21 squad for the 2005/06 season and retained his place for the European qualifiers at the start of the new domestic season. Scullion is an attacking midfielder and finished his last season with the Swifts with 13 goals. He joined Glentoran on 16 June 2007 for a fee believed to be around the £10,000 mark and scored 15 goals in 64 appearances in his time with the club.

Robbie Brennan (born 1947, Dublin, Ireland - died 12 April 2016, Nenagh County Tipperary) was an Irish drummer and a former member of Phil Lynott's band Grand Slam. Brennan also played with a variety of Irish musicians such as Christy Moore, Skid Row, Auto Da Fé, Paul Brady and Clannad. For several years in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Brennan was the drummer of the Dublin rock band Stepaside, named after the Dublin suburb of the same name, along with ex- Miami Showband member Paul Ashford. He was also a member of Scullion recording Spin in 1985.

Holton was then controversially sold to Northampton Town in 1961 where he scored a club record 36 goals in 1961–62, thus achieving the rare feat of holding the all-time goals in a season record at two different clubs. In summer 2015, the exterior of the stadium was adorned with a display of printed banners which will remain permanently. Fifteen green-coloured sections at either end of the stadium – each 21 metres high – form a display which reads 'Paradise' and depicts images of noted players from throughout the club's history (58 players in total, with a different set shown on each stand). Computer and Video Games writer Chris Scullion described Wisps in Lost World as "familiar power-ups that emulate mechanics in Mario's Wii adventures" as part of a larger, ambivalent point about the game being derivative of Super Mario Galaxy. However, control and pacing aspects of the Wisps in general, as well as of individual types, have been criticized: for example, Turi opined that "for almost every useful ability there is a complete dud" and bemoaned the Wii controls. Justin Speer from GameTrailers thought similarly and added that the Wisps "don't really feel like they belong". Hardcore Gamer Magazines review of Lost World stated that none of the Wisps make satisfying use of the Wii U's gamepad.

He was the leader of the National Party in the Senate from 10 April 1990 to 3 December 2007 and held many positions in the Coalition shadow ministry including Shadow Minister for Regional Development and External Territories (from September 1988 to April 1990), Shadow Minister for Northern Australia and External Territories (April 1993 to May 1994) and Shadow Minister for Consumer Affairs (May 1994 to December 1994). Boswell was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Transport and Regional Services in July 1999 but left the position in October 2003. After he was succeeded as leader of the Nationals in the Senate by Nigel Scullion following the 2007 election, Boswell became Scullion's deputy. He was succeeded in that position by Fiona Nash in 2008.

The destruction of Sepulchrave's library is entirely masterminded by Steerpike, the ruthlessly Machiavellian scullion, to further his personal interests, although he pretends that he is doing it in order to advance Sepulchrave's idiot sisters, Cora and Clarice, who are monomaniacs obsessed with power. Steerpike engineers a daring rescue from the flames of several characters including Sepulchrave, Titus, Gertrude, Fuchsia, Flay, Doctor Alfred Prunesquallor and Irma Prunesquallor. The Master of Ritual Sourdust, however, perishes of asphyxiation and is consumed. The Holocaust drives Sepulchrave insane; he at first seeks solace by playing with pine-cones with Fuchsia, pretending that they are his lost books, before undergoing a psychological transformation into the character of the Death Owl: He howls and hoots, perches on the mantelpiece, eats mice and has to be frequently sedated by Doctor Prunesquallor.

Despite this praise, some critics raised complaints over increased difficulty and the game's similarity to the original Super Mario Galaxy. Chris Scullion from Official Nintendo Magazine called it the "new best game on Wii", but said it lacked the original's impact (though they admitted the extreme difficulty of this, due to the quality of the original). Aliscans continues the story, telling how Guillaume obtained reinforcements from Laon, and how, with the help of the comic hero, the scullion Rainouart or Rennewart, he avenged the defeat of Aliscans and his nephew's death. Rainouart turns out to be the brother of Guillaume's wife Guibourc, who was before her marriage the Saracen princess and enchantress Orable.

Federal leader Mark Vaile stated the Nationals will not merge with the Liberal Party at a federal level. The plan was opposed by key Queensland Senators Ron Boswell and Barnaby Joyce, and was scuttled in 2006. After suffering defeat in the 2006 Queensland poll, Lawrence Springborg was replaced by Jeff Seeney, who indicated he was not interested in merging with the Liberal Party until the issue is seriously raised at a Federal level. In September 2008, Joyce replaced CLP Senator and Nationals deputy leader Nigel Scullion as leader of the Nationals in the Senate, and stated that his party in the upper house would no longer necessarily vote with their Liberal counterparts in the upper house, which opened up another possible avenue for the Rudd Labor Government to get legislation through.

Joe Francis, then Minister for Corrective Services, opposed any plans to end jailing people for unpaid fines; earlier that year he had called for even harsher penalties for fine defaulters, including longer prison sentences. Marc Newhouse, chairman of the DICWC WA, said Francis' proposal made government promises to reduce the incarceration rate for Aboriginals "look like a lie", and University of Western Australia criminologist Dr Hilde Tubex said such a proposal would negatively impact on indigenous people, women and those affected by poverty. In May 2016, a report by Neil Morgan, Inspector of Custodial Services, recommended that WA stop jailing people for unpaid fines. His report mentioned the Dhu case. In October 2016 Nigel Scullion, the federal Minister for Indigenous Affairs, offered to fund the first three years of implementation for any state that legislated a CNS.

Old Kilcullen may have related to the reputed site of a palace or ceremonial place of the Kings of Leinster at Dun Ailinne, on an adjacent hill. Local groups have constructed an interpretative site for Dun Ailinne at Nicholastown, about a kilometre from the modern town centre, and featuring a sculpture by local sculptor and art teacher (at Kilcullen's Cross and Passion College) Noel Scullion. The site was informally launched at the Spring Equinox, and formally in summer, 2008.

The third arrangement of the Second Turnbull Ministry was sworn in by the Governor-General, Sir Peter Cosgrove, on 27 October 2017 following the High Court ruling that Barnaby Joyce and Fiona Nash were invalidly elected due to holding dual citizenship. The same ruling found that Canavan was eligible, allowing him to return to the role of Minister for Resources and Northern Australia that had been held by Joyce in his absence. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull took on Joyce's portfolio of Agriculture and Water Resources, and Nigel Scullion took over as the parliamentary leader of the National Party, while the position of Deputy Prime Minister remained vacant with Julie Bishop serving as acting Prime Minister when necessary. Nash's roles were split between Darren Chester (Regional Development, Territories and Local Government) and Mitch Fifield (Regional Communications) as acting ministers.

Following the final break up of the band Mick Roberts and Sean McElhone were briefly re-united in the mid-1990s in a local Leeds band "Home" who played a handful of gigs in the city. Original bass player Simon Scot became a successful DJ. Chris Walton and Andy Stocks provided the brass for The Ukrainians track "Polityka" on the album "Kultura" (Cooking Vinyl, 1994), Carl A. Finlow returned to producing dance music initially in partnership with DJ Ralph Lawson. Alaric Neville continued as a sound engineer and producer working principally with The Ukrainians, Oysterband, and Chumbawamba, Keith Manasseh Jackson joined Stomp (dance troupe), Chris Harrop became the guitarist in Black Star Liner. In 2005, prompted by the wave of successful reformations among their contemporaries including The Happy Mondays, three original members, Mick Roberts, Sean McElhone and Glenn Scullion, got back together to play some dates.

Prior to the implementation of the parliamentary Citizenship Register, several other MPs and Senators who were born outside Australia or are known to have at least one foreign-born parent have made statements clarifying that they were not dual citizens at the time of nominating as a candidate. This ballad of 1612 already contains the tradition that the hero made an attempt to flee his service as a scullion and headed towards "his country", but was persuaded to abort his flight when the London bells beckoned him back, seeming to tell him "Whittington, back return" and pronouncing the omen that he would eventually become Lord Mayor.

His family was wealthy, but bankrupted in the Greco-Turkish War (1919–22) and Lountemis had to work hard in his adolescence as a scullion, shoeblack, cantor, and teacher in villages of Almopia, and even as a foreman at the then under construction Gallikos river infrastructure works. In the 10th grade – of the six-grade secondary school of that time – he left school due to political reasons and he was expelled from all secondary schools of his country. (His engagement in left-wing politics and his political activities from inside the lines of the Communist Party of Greece cost him his expulsion from the entire school system.) Through an odyssey of successive resettlements, from Edessa to state boarding house in Kozani and then to Volos, following a wandering group of that time, he finally reached Athens and became a close connection of Kostas Varnalis, Angelos Sikelianos and Miltiadis Malakassis. The latter helped him to be appointed to the "Athenian Club" as a librarian in 1938 and financially recover.

The September 1991 Circa Theatre season, Hens’ Teeth squawk this way: a season of women comedians included Lee Hatherly, Rose Beauchamp, Bub Bridger, Sue Dunlop, Madeline McNamara, Prue Langbein, Helen Moulder, Lorae Parry, and Dame Kate Harcourt. A group of performers may also have appeared on the night including Beryl Te Wiata, Sally Rodwell, Jane Waddell, and more. The March 1996 Circa Theatre season, Hen's Teeth: Raw eggs and old boilers, featured Lee Hatherly, with Rose Beauchamp, Bub Bridger, Kate Harcourt, Lorae Parry, Madeline McNamara, Lindy Hatherly (Lee Hatherly's daughter, performing a fire-eating act), Sally Rodwell, Prue Langbein, Sue Dunlop, Marg Layton, Cathie Sheat, Pinky Agnew, April Mardle, Carmel McGlone, Ann Pacey, and Dorothy McKegg.

Many years after RCIADIC, problems persisted, and various criticisms have been made about the Commission. Some blame the lack of commitment by the various governments to properly implement its recommendations; others blame the Commission, saying it was too constrained by its mandate and so could not possibly have achieved the necessary reforms to tackle the marginalisation of Indigenous people. An in- depth analysis of RCIADIC by Elena Marchetti, Senior Lecturer at Griffith Law School, published in 2005, concludes: "Despite its many flaws - including the fact that legalistic perspectives were generally privileged at the expense of the more non-orthodox points of view – the RCIADIC remains the most comprehensive investigation ever undertaken into the deep disadvantage experienced by Indigenous people as a result of colonisation". A 2018 review by Deloitte commissioned in December 2017 by the then Indigenous Affairs Minister, Nigel Scullion, found that only 64% of the recommendations had been fully implemented, and the rate of imprisonment of Indigenous Australians had almost doubled during the 27 years since 1991.

He set off to seek his fortune in London (B, H, C), enticed by the rumour that its streets were paved with gold (C). But he soon found himself cold and hungry,It is winter season according to H. and fell asleep at the gate of the home of a wealthy merchant named Fitzwarren (H, C).The ballad does not name the merchant, but the prose versions supply the name of Fitzwarren, the mercer with whom the historical Richard Whittingon apprenticed. Fitzwarren gave him lodging and hired him to be the scullion in the kitchen (B, H, C). ;Dick and his cat In the prose versions, an account of Dick Whittington's cat subsequently follows, but in the ballad, it is preceded by Dick's flight and church bells episode.

In the second half, Glens defender William Garrett played a poor back pass which Michael Gault ran onto before being taken down by Garrett and Elliot Morris then picked up the back pass and with three officials Ross Dunlop, Raymond Crangle and Richard Storey in clear view of the incident nothing was remarkably given with Crangle latter admitting that he had felt that it was a clear foul and red card and had said that a faulty headset was to blame for the foul not being given although this statement is disputed if it is completely truthful. Linesman Storey had said during the incident "Nothing, Nothing" on his headset and referee Ross Dunlop had said he felt it was a natural coming together. Incredibly, immediately after the incident, Glentoran went up the other way and David Scullion scored to give The Glens the lead, while straight after that, a handball by Calum Birney was missed again by the three officials. Glentoran went on to win the cup final 1–0.

But the banquet was swarmed with rats and mice, whereby the English "factor" (business agent) informed their hosts that they were in possession of a creature which could exterminate these vermin (H, C). Thus Dick Whittington's cat was immediately put to the test, chasing and destroying the rodents. The Moors, even more pleased to learn that the cat was pregnant, paid more (H) (or ten times more (C)) for the cat than the rest of the cargo combined. The ship returned to London and Fitzwarren who was apprised of the success of the venture (at his home on Leadenhall (H)), summoned the besmirched scullion Dick Whittington to the parlour (H) (or compting-room (C)) and sat him in a seat, addressing him in dignified fashion as Master (H) or Mr. Whittington. Dick was upset at first that this was being done in mockery, but Fitzwarren insisted it was all in earnest, explaining that the profits from the ship now made Dick a richer man than himself (C, H). Dick married his former master's daughter Alice Fitzwarren (C, H), and joined his father-in-law in his business (H).

Production of Theirs Is the Glory (1945) Using the original locations of the battle, the film featured veterans who were actual participants in the battle. The film was jointly produced by the J. Arthur Rank Organisation and the Army Film and Photographic Unit (AFPU). Weaving original footage from the battle with re-enactments shot on location at Oosterbeek and Arnhem, the film was shot a year after the battle had ravaged the Dutch streets. As well as veterans, the film also features local people like Father Dyker (a Dutch civilian priest who conducts the service in the film) and Kate ter Horst (who reads a psalm to the wounded men in the cellar) re-enacting their roles and what they did for the airborne troops during the battle. Though no credits appear before or after the film, over 200 veterans appeared as actors including Majors CFH "Freddie" Gough and Richard "Dickie" Lonsdale, Lieutenant Hugh Ashmore, Sergeants Jack Bateman and John Daley, Corporal Pearce and Privates Tommy Scullion, Peter Holt, David Parker, George ‘Titch’ Preston, Frank ‘Butch’ Dixon, Reginald Spray, Looker and Van Rijssel and Albert Wood and war correspondents Stanley Maxted and Alan Wood.
