Even in well ventilated areas, extreme caution must be made when handling tert- butylthiol as it is a highly odorous chemical with an odor threshold of <0.33 ppb. Wax paper Wax paper (also waxed paper or paraffin paper) is paper that has been made moisture-proof through the application of wax. The practice of oiling parchment or paper in order to make it semi-translucent or moisture- proof goes back at least to the Middle Ages. Paper impregnated or coated with purified beeswax was widely used throughout the 19th century to retain or exclude moisture, or to wrap odorous products. Gustave Le Gray introduced the use of waxed paper for photographic negatives in 1851.
Copper sweetening is a petroleum refining process using a slurry of clay and cupric chloride to oxidize mercaptans. Odorrana livida, also known as the green mountain frog, green cascade frog, Tenasserim frog, bright frog, large odorous frog, or large-eared rock frog, is a species of frog in the family Ranidae. It is known with certainty only from its neotype locality at the Dawna Range in Myanmar, near the border to Thailand, but molecular data suggest that it is present in northeastern India and in peninsular Thailand too, while records from China refer to other species. In much of the literature, this species has been confused with other species, including Odorrana graminea.
They are also more agile and vigilant than the other skunks dwelling in North America. In addition to performing a handstand before spraying a potential predator, the skunk also performs foot stamping, which involves the skunk stamping its feet on the ground in order to warn an approaching predator. The stamping can be heard for several meters away and is usually followed by the skunk spraying its odorous solution. When these skunks encounter an egg that they want to eat they will straddle the egg with their front legs and bite the egg open.

Vertical flow type of constructed wetlands (subsurface flow) In subsurface flow constructed wetlands the flow of wastewater occurs between the roots of the plants and there is no water surfacing (it is kept below gravel). As a result, the system is more efficient, does not attract mosquitoes, is less odorous and less sensitive to winter conditions. Also, less area is needed to purify water. A downside to the system are the intakes, which can clog or bioclog easily, although some larger sized gravel will often solve this problem.
