Rarely seen, he registers here as a smoothie, glib and ultra sophisticated, handy with the correct word on the correct occasion.

Susan Alexander Kane (Dorothy Comingore) was Kane's second wife. She was twenty-one when they first met in the mid-1910s (Kane would have been at least fifty); she is evidently low class and is in charge of the sheet music at a shop.
