"Hell Right" was written by David Garcia, Brett Tyler, and Michael Hardy, the latter of whom also co-wrote Shelton's previous single, "God's Country". The song was written on May 29, 2019, a few months after "God’s Country" was recorded. Shelton heard the song, and recorded and released it within a month and a half. According to Shelton, the song is about "taking things to the max," and that "you can raise hell or you can raise hell right".
Steven Dietz's 1988 play God's Country and the 1988 film Betrayed were based on the incident, as was the film Brotherhood of Murder (1999). Director Oliver Stone's 1988 film adaptation of Eric Bogosian's play Talk Radio also drew inspiration from Berg's death. His murder is mentioned in the 2017 PBS American Experience documentary "Oklahoma City". Berg's life and death were chronicled in the book, Talked to Death: The Life and Murder of Alan Berg by Stephen Singular.

Christian and country artists have experienced significant crossover. Much of Carrie Underwood's work has been overtly Christian, including "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Temporary Home" , "Something in the Water." Other notable Christian-country crossovers have included "Changed" by Rascal Flatts, "A Living Prayer" by Alison Krauss and "Believe" by Brooks & Dunn. For a time in the late 2000s, the God's Country Radio Network specialized in Christian-country crossovers, such was the extent of the body of music that fit into both genera.

Most of the Rodgers and Hart songs from the stage musical were cut, except for the title tune, "The Lady Is a Tramp" - used as background music during a dinner scene, and "Where or When". Freed and Nacio Herb Brown wrote a new song for the film, "Good Morning", later to be a musical number in Singin' in the Rain. "God's Country", from Hooray for What! by Harold Arlen and E. Y. Harburg - composer and lyricist for The Wizard of Oz - was used for the finale.

In 1989, a DDial-like clone, Synergy Teleconferencing System AKA STS was developed for the IBM PC, but by this time it was outpaced by alternatives like GEnie. By the mid-1990s, DDials had been bypassed by the Internet and IRC, although Chicago's God's Country, kept an incredibly loyal following between 1985–87 and 1989-1998. Many of its users are still close to this day. Many client software programs existed for BBS connections back then, but one in particular for C64 or Commodore64 was optimized just for DDial, call Eagleterm 6a.

On several occasions, air staff were stranded at the studio/transmitter facility due to heavy snow accumulation and ice storms. In 1989, Stevens purchased a defunct drive-in theater south of St Marys, and consolidated both the studios and offices there. As the station grew, Stevens determined that the station would reach a significantly larger audience if the transmitter site was relocated to the west. Much of the original signal coverage area fell on a largely unpopulated area of north- central Pennsylvania known as "God's Country", and was spotty in several better-populated communities to the west.

"Nobody but You" is a song recorded by American singers Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani for the former's fifth compilation album, Fully Loaded: God's Country (2019). It was produced by Scott Hendricks and written by Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne, and Tommy Lee James. Following "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" (2016) and "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" (2017), "Nobody but You" marks Shelton and Stefani's third collaboration together. The song was first revealed in October 2019, although Stefani's contributions remained a secret until a week prior to the song's release in December of the same year.
Malle documented a sense of frustration and apprehension from the same participants he had befriended in better times half a decade earlier. The film is occasionally shown on Turner Classic Movies, and is available on DVD from the Criterion Collection. The name of the film comes from the widespread belief in American folklore that the United States of America has an exceptional status in the world as "God's country" or "the promised land" because, metaphorically, early European settlers such as the Puritans of Massachusetts Bay believed they were founding at God's behest a shining city upon a hill.
Their wedding plans are thrown off course when her father reveals that he was bankrupt due to bad deals and investments gone wrong, meaning that she would have to rely on her own finances. It is also implied that while Platt is financially independent, she has long relied on her family's money as back-up and now has to scale back her lifestyle due to her meager salary. They eventually marry in an intimate ceremony at Molly's in the Chicago Fire episode "On the Warpath" and had their honeymoon in 'God's Country', the Wisconsin Dells. In "All Cylinders Firing", Trudy has dinner with her father at his house.
Other acts to reach the top of the chart for the first time during the year were Cody Johnson with Ain't Nothin' to It, Tyler Childers with Country Squire, the Highwomen with their self-titled debut album, Midland with Let It Roll, and the band Whiskey Myers with its eponymous album. In contrast, Honky Tonk Time Machine was the 27th number one for veteran country star George Strait, a record number of chart-toppers for a single artist. The year's final number one was Fully Loaded: God's Country, a compilation album by Blake Shelton, which topped the chart in the issue of Billboard dated December 28.
Bono has stated that he originally didn't know whether the song was about Ireland or the United States, but eventually dedicated it to the Statue of Liberty. The song characterises the United States as a "desert rose" and a siren whose dress is torn in "ribbons and bows," a depiction both "sad and seductive". The lyric speaks of a lack of political ideas in the West which Bono later contrasted to the revolution in Nicaragua where he had travelled during the recording of The Joshua Tree. Along with "Where the Streets Have No Name," the lyrics and sound of "In God's Country" reference the desert in accordance with the band's wish for The Joshua Tree to have a "cinematic" sense of location.
After several years of playing in various bands, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he was signed to a songwriting contract, and subsequently a record deal with Columbia Records, which released his debut album All in Good Time in 1995 and produced a No. 73 single on the Hot Country Songs charts in "God's Country." Hummon has also released several studio albums on his own label, Velvet Armadillo. In 2006, his composition "Bless the Broken Road", co- written with Jeff Hanna and Bobby Boyd in 1994, won a Grammy Award for Best Country Song. It was first recorded by Hanna's Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, followed by Hummon, Melodie Crittenden, the Grammy-winning version by Rascal Flatts, and Selah in a duet with Melodie Crittenden.
Due to the song's success and encouragment from record producer Joey Moi, Hardy was signed to Big Loud Records in 2018. In October 2018, he released an EP titled This Ole Boy, which he supported by joining Wallen's If I Know Me Tour. This was followed in 2019 by the single "Rednecker", and a second EP titled Where to Find Me. To support the EP, Hardy joined Florida Georgia Line on their Can't Say I Ain't Country Tour. Hardy also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line's singles "Simple" and "Talk You Out of It", Blake Shelton's singles "God's Country" and "Hell Right", "Drop" by Dallas Smith, Chris Lane's single "I Don't Know About You", and Jameson Rodgers' debut single "Some Girls".
"The Git Up" spent twelve weeks in total at number one but non-consecutively, being interrupted for a single week by "God's Country" by Blake Shelton. The seven-week run at number one on Country Airplay achieved by "Beautiful Crazy" was the year's longest unbroken run atop that listing; no other song spent more than three consecutive weeks in the peak position. Combs achieved two further airplay chart-toppers with "Beer Never Broke My Heart" in August and "Even Though I'm Leaving" in November. When the former song reached number one, Combs achieved the feat of topping Billboards radio-based country chart with his first six singles, a feat no other act had achieved since the magazine began publishing a chart using that methodology in 1990.
In December 2019, Shelton and Stefani released their collaboration "Nobody but You", a newly recorded track for Shelton's third compilation album, Fully Loaded: God's Country (2019). The song was later released as a single from the project in January 2020, and achieved significant commercial success in the United States, where it topped Billboards Country Airplay and Digital Songs charts and became Stefani's highest-charting effort on the Billboard Hot 100 since 2007. Following the impact of his previous collaboration with Stefani, Shelton commented: "Even though Gwen and I just had a single out, we decided that, under the circumstances, this year ... man, there's never been a better time for 'Happy Anywhere'." Shelton first teased the release on July 20, 2020 in an official press release.
For Star in the Dust (1956), one of the scenes featured co-star Coleen Gray and Stuart fighting for possession of incriminating letters hidden in a suitcase. The seasoned actresses invited their husbands to watch the filming of the action scene, which lasted over 50 seconds of screen time and included both women punching and wrestling each other. At the conclusion of the choreographed scene, Gray recalled in a later interview, the women simply dusted themselves off, but the two husbands "were pale and clammy and weak in the knees" having watched their wives engage in a lengthy fistfight. After 1957's Incredible Shrinking Man, she was cast as Nancy Dawson in the 1958 western film, Man from God's Country, starring George Montgomery.
P.18 The song's success and its resulting political strength brought supporters to the pacifist movement whose main priority was other issues. Unreconstructed Southerners appealed to popular distaste for the war in Europe in order to argue that the Civil War had been no more justified, and suffragists joined the peace movement because of its political potential and leverage in the campaign for women's right to vote. As with the later 1930s hit "God's Country", it shows that American popular music "generally reflects the isolationist tendencies of the public" and that pro-war songwriters were rarely successful. "I Didn't Raise My Boy to Be a Soldier" was praised especially by Anti-Britain groups in the United States: Irish, German, and Church ministers of many denominations.
They were KLTX (1390 AM) in Long Beach/Los Angeles, KEZY (1240 AM) in Riverside/San Bernardino, and KSDO (1130 AM) in San Diego, all property of Hi-Favor Broadcasting, LLC. All three stations had been owned by major corporations: KLTX and KEZY by Salem Communications and KSDO by Chase Media with a joint sales agreement with Clear Channel Communications. Unlike the majority of Nueva Vida's stations, which are licensed as non-commercial educational, the new stations were commercial licenses, held by a for-profit arm of the organization, which allowed them to accept advertisements in order to help pay the cost of operation. After Educational Media Foundation (EMF) discontinued its affiliation with God's Country Radio Network in November 2010, EMF switched most of those stations to Radio Nueva Vida.

Many had also actually served during World War II. His first film role was playing a sheriff (uncredited) in God's Country (1946), followed by a co-starring role alongside Monogram's singing cowboy Jimmy Wakely in the 1948 film Silver Trails, both of which gave him experience in front of the camera. The next year Whip Wilson starred in his own series of films, the first being Crashin Thru, followed by Haunted Trails, Range Land and Riders of the Dusk. He first was given a horse named "Silver Bullet", whose name was later shortened to "Bullet", then changed to "Rocket" due to Roy Rogers having a dog named "Bullet" in his films. Wilson may have come along too late to establish himself as a major star; studios were already phasing out low-budget westerns.

From an early age, Khemir was fascinated by classical Arabic culture and by storytelling. He has cited the One Thousand and One Nights as a particular influence, saying, "I am a child of these stories." However, in spite of this interest and a similar, lasting passion for film, Khemir initially planned a career as a painter and sculptor - a path he has, throughout his life, continued to pursue; his art has been exhibited at, among other institutions, the Centre Pompidou and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris. In 1966, at the age of eighteen, he was awarded a UNESCO fellowship to study film in Paris. In 1975, he completed his first film, L’Histoire du pays du Bon Dieu (The History of God's Country), shot in his hometown of Korba and featuring the desert setting and spiritual overtones that would figure prominently in his later work.
Eskimo (also known as Mala the Magnificent and Eskimo Wife-Traders) is a 1933 American Pre-Code drama film directed by W. S. Van Dyke and released by Metro- Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). The film stars Ray Mala as Mala, Lulu Wong Wing as Mala's first wife Aba, Lotus Long as Mala's second wife Iva, Peter Freuchen as the Ship Captain, W. S. Van Dyke as Inspector White, and Joseph Sauers as Sergeant Hunt. In 1982, Ozark, Alabama, architect H. Jack Mizell purchased WRES and changed the station back to a country format with WIGC (We're In God's Country), as the call sign. Mizell succeeded in having the transmitter site changed from a 400-foot tower in Troy to share tower space with the nearly 2000-foot tall WSFA-TV tower in the Grady community, located about halfway between Troy and Montgomery. Not only did this give the 105.7 signal strong coverage well into the immediate Montgomery region, but it could also be heard from Birmingham to the north, the Northwest Florida Beaches to the south, the central Mississippi/Alabama border to the west and well into Georgia to the east. In December 1984, WRJM "Classic 105.7" was born with a soft adult contemporary format except for Saturday nights, when the popular oldies program "Hubcap Classics" was heard.
The deal was approved by the FCC on November 19, 2002, and the transaction was consummated on January 6, 2003. The station's callsign was changed to KLHV on February 28, 2003, to better fit the "K-Love" branding. In August 2003, Colorado Christian University reached an agreement to transfer this station and its construction permit to the Educational Media Foundation. The deal was approved by the FCC on October 2, 2003, and the transaction was consummated on November 25, 2003. The station received its broadcast license from the FCC on June 7, 2005.
