An alien ship approaches the Earth and launches a probe which enters the atmosphere and then splashes into the Pacific, where it is devoured by a great white shark. The shark convulses and in a few moments is transformed by the probe into a red-lined robotic simulacrum of the ocean predator. An American nuclear submarine in the area detects the robotic shark's movements and, considering it an unknown hostile entity, the captain decides to destroy it. Instead, the submarine's hull is breached by the shark's newly enhanced teeth and all hands are lost.

The final interview is of an old woman who shakes and sometimes convulses on camera while going in and out of speaking in tongues.

Troy (as Abed) tells the group the pair cannot switch back unless they recreate the exact scene from yesterday, but the DVD has gone missing. Jeff asks Dean Pelton to give the Freaky Friday DVD to Troy and Abed to convince them it's the original DVD and so they don't suspect that Jeff has bought a new copy instead. When the Dean asks Jeff about how Troy and Abed switched bodies, he grabs onto the DVD and convulses while the same technician turns the lights on and off again, also citing a routine light switch check. The Dean starts acting like Jeff.
