She took a shine to him straight away and so the pug was cast as Willy. Willy and Roly the poodle shared a dressing room at Elstree Studios. In the original rehearsal script Willy was named Phillip.

In 1994 Willy Willy left the group and replaced by Tjenne Berghmans. In 1996 the group was disbanded. They started touring again in 2007. Three of the members are dead; Sijmons died on 18 July 2013 from lung cancer and Korsakov's syndrome, Bergen died of emphysema on 7 February 2016, and Willy died from cancer at the age of 59 on 13 February 2019.

Mary River is a river in the Kimberley of Western Australia. The headwaters of the river rise south of Mount Angelo, approximately 25 km south of Halls Creek. The river then flows in a westerly direction through Oollumarra Soak and discharges into Margaret River of which it is a tributary. Mary River has nine tributaries including Laura River, Willy Willy Creek, Garden Creek, Hangman Creek and Janet Creek.

Ethel's famous lines being either, "Where's my Willy?" or, in a double entendre, "Has anyone seen my Willy?" Willy can often be quite mischievous. When Ethel is preparing the food in The Queen Victoria public house one day, Willy and Roly eat all the expensive steak for the steak and kidney pies when her back is turned. Ethel replaces the meat with a less costly cut and everyone comments that the pies were not up to standard.

So, Willy flies to Amy and discovers through her that Red is angry at Willy because he believes Willy is the one who woke up Blackie. So Willy follows Amy into an indoor roof nest where they will be safe from a storm. The next day, Willy and Amy were flying back to the park to find their friends, who were all waiting for them, only to see Red feeling angry at Willy. Flirting Around tracked Bay Express for three and a half furlongs before accelerating into the lead and drawing away to win by five lengths from Hot Spark, Auction Ring and Willy Willy. Timeform described the colt's win as "one of the most impressive we have seen in a weight-for-age sprint".

At the age of four, Lasoen started as a majorette dancer with the fanfare orchestra Nut en Vermaak in Maldegem. After secondary school she studied jazz at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent. She is the drummer in bands like Daan, Saint-Marteau, The Happy (new project with among others Reinhard Vanbergen from Das Pop), Isolde et Les Bens (old French and English songs), Briskey and The Whodads. She also works or worked as freelancer with Guido Belcanto, Willy Willy, Flip Kowlier, Raymond van het Groenewoud, Nic Balthazar, Novastar, Jack Van Poll, Lady Linn, Kapotski and others.

Vaya Con Dios was founded in 1986 by Dirk Schoufs, Dani Klein (Danielle Schoovaerts) and Willy Lambregt (known as Willy Willy). Schoufs (1962; double bass) and Lambregt (1959; guitars) were close friends, who had frequently worked as an acoustic duo. Klein (1953; lead singer, lyricist) and Lambregt had previously worked in electronic band Arbeid Adelt !, which lost momentum when band leader Marcel Vanthilt left to become an MTV Europe VJ. After enjoying a one off performance as a trio, they decided to form Vaya Con Dios, based on shared interests in gypsy music, jazz and opera – genres they felt were underappreciated in Brussels.

He led for most of the way and looked likely to win before stumbling fifty yards from the finish and finished third, half a length and a short head by Auction Ring and Hot Spark. At York in August, Bay Express started at odds of 100/30 for the Nunthorpe Stakes in which his opponents included Hot Spark, Auction Ring and Roman Warrior, and in which he was ridden for the first time by the Scottish jockey Willie Carson. Carson sent him into the lead from the start and he was never looked in any danger of defeat, winning by a length and a half from the Irish filly Willy Willy, with Polly Peachum third and Roman Warrior fourth. On his final appearance, Bay Express was sent to France for the Prix de l'Abbaye over 1000 metres at Longchamp Racecourse on 5 October.
