Gillington "Gil" Webber (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in Volumes One and Two, Evan Smith in later seasons, the CGI specials and Fright On!) is the son of two freshwater-river monsters and is Lagoona Blue's boyfriend. He was first introduced in the webisode "Blue Lagoona" and has made recurring appearances since. Gil is one of the top members on the swim team alongside Lagoona. When on land, Gil has to wear a water-filled helmet over his head in order to breathe, though "Hatch Me if You Can" and the Gloom Beach arc shows that he can be on land for a short period of time without it.

Farmed and Dangerous is a four-part webisode comedy series from Chipotle Mexican Grill. This series is a satire of "Big Ag" and "Big Food" practices, featuring the fictional megacorporation Animoil feeding cows petropellets, which are made from petroleum directly rather than indirectly, from the corn and soybean that require so much petroleum products to grow (nitrogen fertilizer is made from the nitrogen present in the air and hydrogen present in natural gas from fracking). The series is part of an unconventional Chipotle marketing campaign to make people think about the origins of their food. Some agricultural groups have criticized the series as unrealistic.

The television series Unsolved Mysteries released their Jessica Heeringa story on the two-year anniversary of her disappearance in April 2015. Along with co-creator and director Kai Soremekun, in 2007 she produced a series of twenty-two webisodes—dramas about a minute in length—that introduce The Timer Game five years before the book opens. After the deaths, forensic expert Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne) is called in to inspect the murder scene. The police assume the victims have been shot, and claim to have apprehended the shooter (played by David Hewlett in the first webisode, but was played by another actor in this episode), who was fleeing the scene. Will sees no evidence of a gun being used and quickly deduces that all is not as it seems at the apartment, but his theories are ridiculed by Detective Joe Kavanagh (Kavan Smith). As he leaves, Will spots the boy and chases him down a back alley, where he narrowly avoids being struck by a young woman on a motorcycle who is also evidently pursuing the boy.

Lewis had finished recording his country music solo EP and had started a nonprofit organization to reopen his daughter's elementary school in Worthington, Massachusetts. Guitarist Mike Mushok stated in a Q&A; session with fans that the band was looking to make a heavy record, but still "explore some of the things we did on the last record and take them somewhere new for us". Stegosaurus is the largest and most famous member of the Stegosaurid family, growing up to in length and more than capable of defending itself from predators with the four spikes on the end of its tail. A row of plates along its back, its most recognisable feature, may have been used as a cooling system in hot weather or to flash colour that could be used to entice mates or threaten enemies and predators. Series 4 webisode 1 includes CCTV footage of a Stegosaurus causing havoc in the House of Commons during the time between Series 3 and 4. However this was not a real Stegosaurus, the CG model was that of the Embolotherium, re-used with close up footage.

All the Way Back to Liverpool is a 2012 German–British documentary film directed by Chandra Fleig which has been released as a music webisode in 2014. It features the work of award-winning music producer Mike Crossey, singer- songwriter Lucy Styles, Paul Crowe and Ian McMillan both former members of the band The Aeroplanes. The documentary shows a group of musicians and friends as they write, rehearse and record new material and shows the creative process of music production and songwriting from the initial idea to the final product. The film was made by German filmmaker and musician Chandra Fleig who lived in Liverpool at the end of the 90s and studied at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.

Ashley is quite close to her mother and provides a counterbalance to Helen's desire to protect Abnormals, as she normally doesn't hesitate in terminating hostile ones and using whatever methods necessary to capture targets. She is on good terms with Sylvio (known as Ernie in the Web series) and his men, though Helen thinks otherwise. In "The Five", she learns that Druitt is her father (she was made aware of it in the fourth Webisode), and eventually comes to accept it. In the Season 1 finale "Revelations", Ashley and Henry Foss break into a Cabal weapons facility to retrieve the files relating to "Lazarus", the weapon used to turn Abnormals on Humans, but are captured by the Cabal, who drug her and turn her into an Abnormal, inheriting her father's teleportation abilities.

Uncle Dons later appeared in his own show called The Dons Show which premiered with a webisode called Jesus is back & black - an episode that was inspired by a true story that made the headlines about a man from Kwa-Zulu-Natal who claimed to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.

The episode began with one of the most extended recaps in the series, as the producers wanted to bring the audience up to date from the events from "Lay Down Your Burdens", which covered "quite a bit of ground" because of the large story development behind the finale. The scene where the Cylons meet in Colonial One became very tedious for the crew because several versions of the same Cylon model were used in the same shot, and the crew disliked filming on the set. Moore elaborated; The crew had to film different versions of the prayer scene before Duck commits the suicide attack. In making the photograph of him and his late wife, the actress who played Nora in the webisode series The Resistance was not available, so the producers digitally inserted her face onto the photograph.

The story featured receptionist Noel Garcia (Marshall) deciding to pursue his dream of being a radio DJ while "hoping to boost the atmosphere of the ED" as he takes over the hospital's radio station. The webisodes were created by the show's junior editorial team with Ross Southard leading the idea. Summer Stories (also known as Christmas Crackers) is a webisode series broadcast during the 2016 Christmas period. It fills the gap between the show's 2 December finale and the start of the new season on 9 January 2017. The episodes are around one to two minutes in length and were released on Tenplay and the Neighbours UK Facebook page. The series follows five storylines, which focus on Ben Kirk (Felix Mallard) and Xanthe Canning's (Lily Van der Meer) relationship problems after her mother scammed his grandfather, Amy Williams's (Zoe Cramond) attempts at dating, Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) receiving help from Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) to cook the Christmas dinner, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) and Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns) keeping their relationship a secret, while planning to be together on New Year's Eve, and finally Toadfish Rebecchi's (Ryan Moloney) reaction after learning that his wife Dee Bliss (Madeleine West) could be alive following her presumed death thirteen years ago.

Among House of Cards' nine nominations, "Chapter 1" received four nominations for the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards and 65th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards becoming the first webisode (online-only episode) of a television series to receive a major Primetime Emmy Award nomination: Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for David Fincher. This episode also received several Creative Arts Emmy Award nominations, including Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series, and Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic). Although Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series is not a category that formally recognizes an episode, Spacey submitted "Chapter 1" for consideration to earn his nomination.

After travelling to Australia and discovering that Schoolies wasn't as untamed as Spring Break he opted to create a real life drama of what happens after school stating, > The show for me was a diary of a girl and her friends as she stumbles > through[...] the most important time of her life, right after school and in > between real life[...] it's real life decisions with alcohol and bikinis. The programme was produced by production company, Freehand, and was broadcast online via the shows official website and social networking site Facebook. The show first aired on the official website on 2 March 2010 with each episode running for eight-ten minutes. On 25 October 2010 it was announced by MTV Australia that they had picked up the series with Rebecca Batties from the network stating "After seeing a webisode[..] the MTV team and I instantly loved it. We knew intrinsically that if we added MTV’s trademark production values, we could take it to a wider Australian youth audience[...]" There are no plans for a second season of this series.
