Apart from "Atlantic Romantic", which had been a live favourite of the group for a number of years, the songs were freshly composed: their lyrics were difficult to understand, and remain confusing even now. "Atlantic Romantic" was co-produced by Eddie Rayner of Split Enz fame. A promotional music video was released for the mini- album, which combined videos for brief excerpts of each of the tracks (including a crude home-made claymation video for "Germ") with vox pop interviews conducted by the band members in the streets of Melbourne. The Jeff Dahl Band is an American punk rock ensemble, formed in Cave Creek, Arizona, United States in 1976. Jeff Dahl recorded his first single, "Rock N Roll Critic", in 1977 and it was released on the Doodley Squat label. Since then Dahl served time in Vox Pop (who included Germs, 45 Grave and Dream Syndicate members), The Angry Samoans (1985, stepped in for "Metal" Mike Saunders), and Powertrip, as well as playing and recording with Cheetah Chrome and Rikk Agnew. There are approximately 26 albums released by the Jeff Dahl Band (including studio, live, bootlegs, and best of collections), and in the neighborhood of 100 singles.

The interviewees should be of various ages, sexes, classes and communities so that the diverse views and reactions of the general people will be known. Generally, the vox pop question will be asked of different persons in different parts of streets or public places. But as an exception, in any specific topic or situation which is not concerned to general people, the question can be asked only in a specific group to know what the perception/reaction is of that group to the specific topic or issue; e.g., a question can be asked to a group of students about the quality of their education.

In 1981, 45 Grave released their first single, "Black Cross", and contributed several songs to the compilation Hell Comes to Your House. Cancer was also a member of the 45 Grave-related band Vox Pop, and sang backup for Nervous Gender. Cancer dated Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe for a period in the early 1980s, before marrying Cutler while both were members of 45 Grave. The band broke up in 1985, the same year that their song "Partytime" was featured on the soundtrack to the film Return of the Living Dead. Vox Pop was a popular radio program of interviews, quizzes and human interest features, sometimes titled Sidewalk Interviews (1936) and Voice of the People (the name is from the Latin "Vox Populi", meaning "Voice of the People"). It was heard from the early 1930s to the late 1940s. In 2004, VH1 approached the four members of the "classic lineup" to appear on their show Bands Reunited. The show was recorded in August 2004 and broadcast in the U.S. in November 2004. Following the broadcast EMI's American label Capitol re-released the first two Vixen albums, Vixen and Rev It Up. Vixen also won the sixth annual Independent Music Awards Vox Pop vote for Best Hard Rock/Metal Song for "I Try". Praline's defining moment came in two episodes later, when he attempted to return his recently purchased dead parrot to the pet shop from which he had bought it, not half an hour ago at that very boutique. This segment has been called the comedy team's single best-known sketch,Johnson 1999, p. 96.

However, on November 19 the Iraqi Parliament was adjourned for a day after lawmakers loyal to Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr shouted down the second reading of the agreement's text. Alan Seth Chartock (born July 25, 1941) is the president and chief executive officer of WAMC/Northeast Public Radio, a National Public Radio affiliate, a position he has held since 1981. He was professor of political science at SUNY New Paltz and is a professor emeritus of communications at the State University of New York (SUNY), and is executive publisher and project director for the Legislative Gazette, a weekly newspaper staffed by college intern reporters covering New York State government. Chartock serves in a variety of on-air roles at WAMC, including but not limited to hosting the Capitol Connection, Vox Pop, and Conversations with programs, sitting on panels for the Roundtable and Media Show, serving as a political commentator, and filling a central role in the thrice-annual fund drives. He also writes a syndicated column on politics which appears in newspapers throughout New York state.
