She was killed while filming a motorcycle stunt, doubling as "Domino" on the set of Deadpool 2, when the bike she was riding crashed near the Shaw Tower.

A stunt towards the end of the episode was used where Weir gets thrown after the beam grazes the tower. The stunt was not originally approved by the producers. A stuntwoman doubled Higginson as Weir during the sequence.

She was so terrified of the lion that she refused to do the scene. Charlie Chaplin, whom she had recently met in Hollywood and who was visiting the set, supposedly donned her costume and did the scene with the lion. Davies' longtime assistant, however, claimed the scene was more likely done by a stuntwoman. The scene is not in the surviving print, but there are production stills showing Davies in a circus setting.
Jacqueline Balmer (1957 – 17 June 2011), known professionally as Jacquie de Creed, was an English stuntwoman and presenter, and holder of the Long Distance Car Ramp Jump Record. During the 1980s she became famous in the United Kingdom for staging a series of spectacular car stunts. Along with her husband, de Creed was killed in an air crash while flying through dense fog en route from Italy to the French town of Troyes.
Stuntwoman Ann Miles performed the spider-walk scene in November 1972. Friedkin deleted this scene against Blatty's objection just prior to the premiere, as he judged the scene as appearing too early in the film's plot. In the book, the spider-walk is more muted, consisting of Regan following Sharon around near the floor and flicking a snakelike tongue at her ankles. A take of this version of the scene was filmed but went unused.

"Moroccan Christmas" was written by Justin Spitzer and directed by Paul Feig. Kate Flannery said shooting this episode was "maybe the most fun I have ever had working in front of a camera". Although Flannery has done her own stunts in previous episodes, including when she was struck by a car in the fourth season premiere "Fun Run", a stuntwoman was used for the scenes in which her hair catches fire in "Moroccan Christmas".
The performance of Kuiil was done by actress and stuntwoman Misty Rosas. Before scenes involving Kuiil were filmed, the cast and crew of The Mandalorian held private rehearsals with actress Misty Rosas in which she did not wear the costume. Jon Favreau, creator and showrunner of the series, attended these rehearsals, in which they would attempt to determine the rhythm and timing of each scene. Rosas called the rehearsals "the most nerve-wracking for me".

Written by Faizal Akhtar and Shrabani Deodhar, the film is based on India's first stuntwoman, Reshma Pathan. Bidita Bag portrays Pathan's role while Chandan Roy Sanyal, Prince Rodde and Aditya Lakhia appear in supporting roles. The title refers to Sholay, in which Pathan worked as a stunt double for Hema Malini.

Sophia Crawford (born 19 May 1966 at Hammersmith, London, United Kingdom), known as Liza Kruskry in the Philippines, is an actress, stuntwoman and martial artist. She was Sarah Michelle Gellar's stunt double on the first four seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She's also married 'Buffy' stunt Co- ordinator, Jeff Pruitt in 1998. She is also known for her role as "Chameleon", one of the fighters on WMAC Masters and performing on the TV series Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.
Special effect rigging was installed on the house to allow the bug creature to scale the wall. The elaborate sequence in which the insect creature crawls across a ceiling was made by erecting an upside-down house set on a soundstage. The stuntwoman portraying the bug then crawled across the set and the footage was flipped in post-production. The scenes featuring an armored car smashing through the wall of VinylRight were also filmed on a specially constructed soundstage.
Spiral's real name is Rita Wayword, better known as 'Ricochet Rita'. She was a professional stuntwoman who befriended Longshot when he first appeared on Earth. Rita was attacked by her evil, future self which led to her meeting Longshot and falling in love with him. When Longshot sought to return to his home dimension, the Mojoverse, the lovestruck Rita went with him, only to watch Longshot fail and be captured by the dimension's evil overlord, Mojo.
The brothers' electric chairs were miniatures composited into footage of the seated, costumed actors. Distortion effects such as the ghosts being squeezed were created using completed effect shots that were rephotographed through mylar material that could be warped to affect the underlying image. For the scene in which Nunzio carries the prosecutor upside-down from the courtroom, a stuntwoman was hung upside down on a rail. Reitman wanted her to pass through the doorway while seeing above it.
Harris was on her first shoot as a stuntwoman, performing for Deadpool 2, in 2017. On August 14, 2017, during filming, Harris was riding without a helmet in downtown Vancouver when she lost control of her bike, hit a curb, and was thrown into the Shaw Tower. She had been doubling for actress Zazie Beetz, playing Domino in Deadpool 2, and died on the scene. This marked the second death of a stunt performer of North America in 2017.
While the older and heavier Kay is physically stronger and has considerable endurance for her age, she proves to be no match for Laurie's stuntwoman training. Wanting to fly, but with little demand after the war, pilots purchased the planes and went from town to town offering rides. Creating attractions to bring in crowds, these daredevils performed stunts, loops and began wing walking to attract more customers. The aerialists and pilots formed flying circuses sending promoters ahead of them to hang posters promoting their dangerous feats. In 1920, Phoebe Fairgrave, later Omlie, at the age of eighteen determined to make her aviation career as a stuntwoman. By 1921, she had set a world women's parachute drop record of 15,200 feet and worked as a wing walker for the Fox Moving Picture Company's The Perils of Pauline series. By 1927, Omlie earned the first transport pilots license and airplane mechanics license issued to a woman. Another stuntwoman, Ethel Dare had perfected walking from one plane to another by 1920, the first woman to perform the feat.
A scripted fight on an episode of Kojak led to Bry's working for a while as a stuntwoman in New York. Bry also appeared as medical student Jean Hallinan in three episodes of the television series Dallas (Season Four, 1981) and as photographer Julie Masters on the 1978 CBS series The Amazing Spider-Man. Few of Midge's interests are mentioned in the comics. However, she is known to have athletic skills, and plays on the Riverdale softball team in addition to being a cheerleader. Midge and her girlfriends enjoy activities together, such as shopping at the Riverdale Mall. In an episode of Archie's Weird Mysteries, Midge revealed that she wants to be a stuntwoman; in the TV movie Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again, she became a chiropractor, and shares a practice with Moose.
Count Olaf, disguised as Mattathias, later stole her position to take control of the hospital and hinted that he pushed her off the roof of the hospital as he said she had "decided to pursue a career as a stuntwoman' and had 'started jumping off buildings immediately." This means that Olaf probably pushed her off a roof or forced her to jump off one. Either way, Babs was killed. In the TV series, Babs is portrayed by Kerri Kenney-Silver.
It was Elias's work on Black Cat, a stuntwoman turned crimefighter, for Harvey Comics, that stood out in this period. The series was praised by comics historian Trina Robbins for its "logical" and "straightforward" approach, in contrast to more fantasy-oriented titles like Wonder Woman. Note: Even though she earned a place in the Las Vegas finals, 5-time ANW finalist Jessie Graff could not compete because of her shooting schedule while filming Wonder Woman 1984 (Wonder Woman sequel) as a stuntwoman. Jessie is seen on the Stage 1 finals Day 2 episode in Canary Islands, Spain telling the viewers about it and wishing her fellow competitors "good luck".
In 2012, founding members were honored with the NAACP President's Award. In 2014, members of the organisation became angry when Warner Bros studio cast a white stuntwoman for its Fox show Gotham, to be a double for a black guest actress. The stunt woman had already been made up and had her hair and skin done to pass as the black actress. After Warner Bros were approached by a reporter from Deadline Hollywood, they didn't progress any further with using the white stunt woman.
Gentiane Lupi (born 26 October 1975, Wellington, New Zealand) is a New Zealand professional boxer, kickboxer, MMA and Muay Thai fighter. Lupi is also the former Women's International Boxing Association World super bantamweight champion and also the third New Zealand born person to have held a world boxing title. Lupi currently holds the WBA Oceania Super Featherweight Title. Lupi an actor/stuntwoman, has starred in such films such as Eagle vs Shark, Kombi Nation, Second Hand Wedding and Krampus as well as the TV series Nothing Trivial.

In filming for a 1979 episode of Wonder Woman, O'Neil was hired to perform a stunt of high difficulty for Jeannie Epper, Lynda Carter's usual stunt double. In the process, she set a women's high-fall record of at the 12-story Valley Hilton in Sherman Oaks, California.
Brandy Johnson-Scharpf (born April 30, 1973, Tallahassee, Florida) is a retired American gymnast, gymnastics judge, stuntwoman and gymnastics coach. She owns Brandy Johnson's Global Gymnastics in Clermont, Florida. A member of Brown's Gymnastics club in Orlando, Florida, Johnson made an impressive debut in high-level competition, winning the all-around, vault, floor exercise and balance beam titles at the 1986 Junior Olympics National Championships. The following year, in her first US National Championships, Johnson won the all- around gold medal in the junior division.
A full-scale replica of the Ruskin Dam bridge was created for the episode. "The Red and the Black" was a technically demanding episode, which Carter later described, along with "Patient X", as "the most challenging and logically complex [project] of the season."Meisler, p. 196 The scene where Cassandra Spender is elevated into a colonist craft was shot by having a stuntwoman sit in a wheelchair, which was then lifted upward via a crane; the crane was then removed during post- production editing.
Marny Eng (sometimes credited as Marney Eng, Marnie Eng or Marni Eng) is a Canadian stuntwoman and stunt coordinator who has performed stunts in well over 100 films since the early 1990s. She has been the stunt double for numerous famous actresses such as Lucy Liu, Christina Ricci, Kristin Kreuk, Rachael Leigh Cook and Reese Witherspoon. As an actress, she is most famous for portraying Tabitha, the Samara Morgan parody from Scary Movie 3. In 2015, she received the UBCP/ACTRA Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award.
However, Longshot disagreed with the rules and led a rebellion (most likely motivated by the death of Jackson, a fellow stuntman). He was captured and had his memories removed, but managed to escape to Earth, followed by bounty hunters. He received national fame after assisting in a mid- air rescue of stuntwoman Rosalie Gordon, who had become caught on Pangborn's landing gear while demonstrating a parachute jump, in Houston, Texas. During his time in the Flying Circus Pangborn flew more than 12,500 miles and carried thousands of passengers. It was during this time that he also met Hugh Herndon, who later became his co-pilot in the trans-Pacific flight. Many who would later be major figures in aviation took their first flights with Pangborn.

She doubled for many leading actresses of the 1930s and 1940s, but is best known for having doubled for Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. During the filming of the skywriting scene, a pipe attached to the Witch's broomstick exploded, landing Danko in the hospital with a serious leg wound. Her career was cut short by a non-stunt accident in the late 1950s when she was struck by a car while waiting for a bus. She resided in a Hollywood bungalow for 50 years with her widowed mother.
