An "In The Style Of" is, as the name implies, a depiction of a game in the style of something else; most often another game. USSBA National Championship Titles, United States Scholastic Band Association (USSBA) press release dated November 14, 2006 During the 2007 season, the Morris Knolls Marching Band won the title of state champions in their group of 3 Open at the USSBA NJ state championships. The band also received the caption awards of Best Percussion, Best Colorguard, Best Effect, and Best Visual at this state competition. The same year, at the USSBA National Championships, Morris Knolls placed second in their group, also winning Best Colorguard and Best Percussion. The MKMB percussion was titled Grand National Champions, receiving the highest score out of all percussion ensembles at the competition, which included over 70 bands.

An alleged former classmate accused Han Jong-youn of making him masturbate in front of his friends, forcing him to fight with his friends, and locking him in the cleaning equipment room. YGKPLUS's Kwon Hyun-bin deleted all of his Instagram posts after they were flooded with negative comments. This was in response to the show's fourth episode, in which Kwon was seen as unmotivated and received harsh criticism from the trainers for a lack of practice, but despite this his team won the live performance battle and he received the highest score out of both teams. During the performance, the trainers commented that the group was "ready to debut".

Kaitlyn Lawes made a game-winning draw to give another point to Team North America, defeating Sebastian Kraupp and Maria Prytz with her mixed doubles partner Jeff Stoughton. The United States' Jeff Isaacson and Debbie McCormick ran into some bad situations during their game and were defeated thoroughly by Christoffer Svae and Satsuki Fujisawa, who stole seven points and won with a twelve-point margin. Team North America were able to even the tournament score out at three points apiece.

Torabi taught himself music by inventing his own form of notation and using it to score out the theme from CHIPS. When he was seven, his family bought a piano and he used it as a compositional tool – already writing songs of his own, he showed little interest in learning those of others. From 1980, he became interested in pop music (initially becoming inspired by Brian Setzer and the Stray Cats) and began teaching himself how to play guitar. Eight years later, aged sixteen, he discovered his main musical touchstone in the form of Cardiacs, although in the interim he had taught himself more about music by sequential obsessions with various other bands and music forms.

The Engineering West Building The College of Engineering is the largest of Cal Poly's six colleges, with 6,091 students (5,829 undergraduate and 262 graduate students), or 28.7%, of the 21,242 enrolled at the university in Fall 2019. The Lauralton Hall Engineering Team earned the highest score out of eight teams for its aircraft stability design presented engineers in the 2018 Sikorsky STEM Challenge, and defended their title in 2019, winning again. (In 2017, the LH Engineering Team was the first all-girl team to participate in - and win - the Sikorsky STEM Challenge.) The LH Swim Team earned 2018 Class M State Championship and placed second in the SCC. The LH Cheerleading Team placed first in the 2017 Class L State Championships and placed second in the SCC. In 2018, the cheer team placed second in the 2018 Class L State Championships and fifth in the 2018 New England Championships.
Chosen competitors are alerted three weeks in advance of their appearance of their dances and competition date (to give all competitors the same amount of time to learn a routine). Whilst the actual show is only a half-hour segment and appears to be live, the creation takes over eight hours and competitors usually have ample time to return home and watch themselves on TV, and as such are made to sign a contract forbidding them from revealing their final position. Scoring is done by three judges, with the score out of 10 (with up to one decimal place) for each dance, with the average of the three being the score. All scores are then added up.
The General Achievement Test (GAT) is a test of general knowledge and skills in written communication, mathematics, science and technology, humanities, the arts and social sciences taken by all Victorian students prior to completing their VCE. Every dance is scored out of 40 by the four Judges (each judge contributing a score out of 10) and these Judge's scores create the official ranking of the contestants for the week. Pre-registered voters cast their vote during the live show for their favorite couple (a maximum of 100 votes on the website platform and 100 votes on the mobile platform; a total of 200 votes per registered voter). The ranking determined by the judges gives each position on the leaderboard assigned points. With 11 contestants the system works as follows; first place is awarded 11 points, second place is awarded 10 points, third place is awarded 9 points and so on until eleventh place which is awarded 1 point.

Alma also claims that Mahler described the three hammer-blows of the finale as 'three blows of fate, the last of which fells [the hero] as a tree is felled'. Deciding that the hero was Mahler himself, and that the symphony was 'prophetic', she then identified these three blows with three later events in her husband's life: his 'forced resignation' from the Vienna State Opera; the death of his eldest daughter; and the diagnosis of a fatal heart condition. In addition, she claims that Mahler eventually deleted the third hammer-blow from the score out of sheer superstition, in an (unsuccessful) attempt to stave off a third disaster in his own life. Again, the story has become canonic; but the difficulties it presents are several.
