He was convicted of the 1974 capital murder of John Henry, a Houston used-car salesman, and sentenced to death. Rosa Washington was born in 1901 near Red Oak in Brown County, Ohio, one of several children of Robert and Julie (Holliday) Washington and a grand-daughter of George and Phoeba Washington. Jordan Hudson and guitarist Zak Riles moved to San Francisco in the late 1990s from their home state of Florida. There, they met bassist Victwa and played one live show together before moving to Portland, Oregon. The 21-year-old Hudson composed the songs that would make up the album Warmer from his Portland home. Bunso is making the rounds of international film festival. It had sold-out screenings at the HotDocs Canadian International Film Festival in Toronto in April and at the DokFest International Documentary Film Festival in Munich, Germany in May.

Karthik Subramani (Siddharth) is a short- film maker and aspires to make a feature film. He participates in a talent search program (like Naalaya Iyakkunar) and is in the semifinal round. The show's two judges include a highbrow film director Mukil (Nassar), who trashes Karthik's attempt at filmmaking, and a profit-oriented producer Sundar (Aadukalam Naren) who riles against Mukil, and declares that Karthik made the best film among the contestants. Though Mukil eliminates Karthik from the contest, Sundar offers to produce a film with Karthik as the director, and both the judges storm out of the show.

Center Joint Unified School District (CJUSD) is a school district, located at the northern edge of Sacramento County, California, in the town of Antelope. There are two high schools (Center High School and McClellan High School), one middle school (Wilson Riles Middle School), and four elementary schools (Dudley Elementary, North Country Elementary, Oak Hill Elementary, and Spinelli Elementary),. Center High, the primary high school for the district (McClellan is designated as an alternative school, intended to help at-risk students graduate) was recently ranked the third-best public school in the state. On trial for murder, Cyril is represented by Katherine McClain who claims that she will do everything she can for Cyril but does not seem to be the best lawyer for this case. In a meeting with other family members to raise money for a better lawyer, Ryan, their Aunt Brenda, Suzanne, and abusive father Seamus decide that Cyril is better off dying than staying the rest of his life in Oz or a mental institution. A new inmate, Father Daniel Meehan, offers to help and riles up Sister Pete and some anti-death penalty activists to protest that sentencing a man in Cyril's mental state to death is cruel and unusual.

For Arnie, this sparks an obsession with finding the truth about AirZone, and during his next weather report, he takes a tangent to reveal to viewers that AirZone's pollution-filtering plants are in fact increasing the pollution in the atmosphere. But she is frustrated when Arnie interrupts the former in order to give Stanwick face- time with the minister, an act that riles MacNamara (Cummings), a mysterious figure who works on behalf of Archer. At the press conference, attended by industry representatives from across Britain, Archer unveils AirZone's optimistic plan to reduce pollution, but her sermon is cut short by Arnie (who has been sneaked in by the now-convinced Ellie) brandishing a gun, who demands Archer reveal the truth about why people living near the plants have been dying and disappearing.
