Terminal City Ricochet is well known in cult film circles, but it has only been shown at film festivals, and a few times on pay-TV.

Its purpose is to collect money for nutrition and food for the poor countries in Horn of Africa (Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Somalia). The materials of which both the target and bullets are constructed should be chosen to cause the bullets to pulverize on impact, and therefore hardened steel targets and regular lead core bullets or copper jacketed bullets should be used. On December 11, 2012, a shooting occurred at the Clackamas Town Center in unincorporated Clackamas County, outside the city of Portland, Oregon, United States. In 1981 Penone began a series titled Essere Fiume ("Being the River"). For this series, Penone chose a rock from a river bed and then went to the source of the river to extract the same type of stone. The vessel's captain, bio-printed Edwin Herring, sends an SOS to the Red Dwarf crew requesting urgent aid or the ship's nuclear stock will cause a massive explosion capable of reaching even Starbug. In an impulsive decision, Rimmer launches a limpet torpedo to obliterate the ship before it can harm Starbug. However, it miraculously ricochets off a lone asteroid and blasts the ship to safety.

Tanya, who now recognizes Michael Knight as Michael Long, steps from her car and, in rage, tries to kill him point blank by shooting at the driver-side window of KITT. Baffled, Steven decides to recreate the circumstances in which his gem started to glow: the Gems stand in the same positions around the kitchen, and he sings the jingle again. Although he is disappointed when his gemstone doesn't glow, the others reassure him that he is still a valued member of the team. When he takes another bite, his gem glows again and manifests his weapon: a pink shield that ricochets around the room.

Though the armour could not protect against contemporary flintlock musket fire, it could deflect shots fired from long-range, stop ricochets and offer protection from all but very close range pistol fire. More importantly, in an age which saw cavalry used in large numbers, the breastplates (along with the helmets) provided excellent protection against the swords and lances of opposing cavalry and against infantry equipped with bayonets. It also had some psychological effect for the wearer (effectively making the cuirassier more willing to plunge into the thick of fighting) and the enemy (adding intimidation), while it also added weight to a charge, especially in cavalry versus cavalry actions. The Chavistas responded to the Metropolitan Police by moving further up the street and at around 4:35 pm, began firing down from Llagano Bridge onto Baralt Avenue below. Police responded to the Chavista gunfire, with one Chavista who was laying on the bridge being shot in the face, with his body positioning of lying down and facing the Metropolitan Police below possibly resulting in the headshot. Ricochets were also possible from Chavistas ranks firing through the spokes of the railing on the bridge. There is a common misconception that military surplus 7.62 Tokarev ammunition uses copper-coated mild steel bullets, and that this increases the chance of dangerous ricochets when fired at hard targets and can damage bullet traps often used on shooting ranges. While steel-core ammunition in 7.62×25 is available internationally, in the United States the importation of 7.62×25 cartridges loaded with copper-coated steel bullets is illegal; federal law defines these as armor-piercing pistol ammunition. So-called steel bullets sold are generally lead-core bullets with copper-washed steel jackets, and these do not present a significantly greater risk of ricochet than a standard copper-jacketed projectile. In 2018, 7.62×25 ammunition was available for export from Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Russia.

Arsen Sheklian, better known by his stage name Arsen Roulette, (born July 23, 1976) is an American singer, lyricist, guitar player and upright bass player from Fresno, California. Roulette is a prolific songwriter penning more than 100 songs in the Rockabilly Genre, a mixture of Rock and Roll, Blues and American Hillbilly music. In 1996 Arsen discovered Rocabilly music and in 1997 Arsen formed the rockabilly trio "Arsen Roulette and the Ricochets", the bands rotating members were a veritable whose who of neo-rockabilly giants. After several name changes and a successful U.S. tour, the trio grew into a quartet of semi-permanent musicians, mainly European Rock-A-Billy musicians who play full-time in other bands of this genre.

LOTG 13.1 The Laws do not stipulate any rules or procedures for crediting goals to players, and indeed such records are not a compulsory part of the game. In 1997 FIFA issued detailed guidelines for crediting own goals, recognising the increasing commercial importance of statistics such as top scorer awards and fantasy football. The guidelines state that credit for scoring is decided by the referee, or match commissioner if present; and "[a] defender's intervention must be deliberate in order for an own goal to be registered against him". Regarding a shot which deflects or ricochets into the goal off a defender, some sources credit the score to the attacker; others count them as own goals; for others it depends on whether the original shot was off target; others are more nuanced.

In 2011, he became part of Collectif Paris-Africa, a French group and French speaking international artists united by UNICEF. Its purpose is to collect money for nutrition and food for the poor countries in Horn of Africa. As an interim measure, the propeller blades were armored and fitted with metal wedges to protect the pilot from ricochets. Garros' modified monoplane was first flown in March 1915 and he began combat operations soon thereafter. Garros scored three victories in three weeks before he himself was downed on 18 April and his airplane, along with its synchronization gear and propeller was captured by the Germans. Meanwhile, the synchronization gear (called the Stangensteuerung in German, for "pushrod control system") devised by the engineers of Anthony Fokker's firm was the first system to see production contracts, and would make the Fokker Eindecker monoplane a feared name over the Western Front, despite its being an adaptation of an obsolete pre-war French Morane-Saulnier racing airplane, with a mediocre performance and poor flight characteristics. The first victory for the Eindecker came on 1 July 1915, when Leutnant Kurt Wintgens, flying with the Feldflieger Abteilung 6 unit on the Western Front, forced down a Morane-Saulnier Type L two-seat "parasol" monoplane just east of Luneville.

By planting his right elbow against his stomach at the same point each time, he establishes a constant reference point from which the subconscious can easily determine the parallax between the direct line-of-sight of the shooter's eyes and his gun barrel. Also, with his elbow planted in his stomach, the shooter has greater leverage for pulling the trigger of a double- action revolver or automatic controllably. The only real variable that the shooter's subconscious now has to deal with is figuring out how much bend to put in his elbow to get the vertical alignment correct for the offset of the gun barrel and the distance to the target. McDaniel would have the student practice his quick-draw until it was smooth and certain, and consequently fast. When the time came to hip-shoot the handgun, McDaniel would have the student shoot into soft dirt, to observe his hits and misses, at a location that was backstopped by a 20 or 30 foot dirt bank, to stop any ricochets or wild shots.
