Enraged, Mandible tries to lunge at Cutter, but Z pushes Cutter out of the way to save him and is accidentally tackled into the flooded colony with Mandible, who lands upon a root, dying on impact. Cutter orders the soldiers to help the workers and the Queen Ant up to the surface while he himself goes after Z. Although Z has seemingly drowned, Bala resuscitates him. Z is praised for his heroism and marries Bala and Weaver marries Azteca. Together they rebuild the colony, transforming it from a military state into a community that values all of its members.

He also painted a Convito d'Epulone (depicting an event in the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus) Parabola di Lazzaro e del ricco epulone from the Gospel of St Luke. for the church of San Lazzaro Alberoni, attached to Collegio Alberoni in Piacenza. He painted a Sant'Alberto resuscitates a youth for the fifth chapel at right of Carmine in Parma; a St Martino and St James Apostle for the church of Santa Maria Bianca; and a Multiplication of the Loaves for the church of Sant'Andrea. He was named the professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Parma, and in 1777 was made academic of honor for the Clementine Academy in Bologna.

Santissima Annunziata, in which Amadio resuscitates a drowned boy One of the Amidei was called Bartholomeus Amadeus of the Amidei and was one of the seven saint founders of a religious congregation, that spread worldwide, especially in Germany, the Servites. He moved from Florence to Mount Senarius (18 km away from the city), with his six friends, in order to be left alone and to concentrate on his devotion to God. He died on 12 February 1266, and according to the legend, the other Father Founders saw a flame rising to the sky as a symbol of his love for God. In 1888 he, along with the six saints, was sanctified by Pope Leo XIII.

Between 1631 and 1655, the interior of the church was renovated to convert the three aisles to an open hall. A crypt was added and the interior was redesigned to include a choir. The annexed diocesan museum houses a panel with a Madonna by Giotto. Meanwhile, Smythe, having been fired from Oscorp for his actions, discovers Spider-Man's secret identity and kidnaps Connors from the apartment, challenging Spider-Man to come and rescue him at Oscorp's robotics facility. While he rescues Connors, Spider-Man is captured by Smythe, who injects him with a nanobot serum that strips away his powers and reveals his plan to spread the same serum across the city using his greatest invetion yet, S-03, unaware that the nanobots are slowly killing the host. Spider-Man escapes and makes his away across a Manhattan consumed by chaos to Connors' secret lab, where he reunites with him and Gwen. While Connors transforms into the Lizard and leaves to stop Smythe, Gwen resuscitates the dying Spider-Man with an AED.

He takes it on himself to go to the water tower to retrieve the key, but the roof caves in just as Stu and the others find him, and he almost drowns in the water tower. Stu rescues and resuscitates him together with Lidia, and Billy tells them he saw an angel, one who "looked like [Stu,] only bigger," (implied to be Stephen) who told him he had to stay on Earth and take care of his family. From that time on the Lipnickis stop fighting with the others and stay out of their way, except for Billy, who becomes a good friend to them. The twins and their friends start to rebuild the tree house, but give it up after a couple of days due to lack of interest.

In the chapels on the right, we find the following altarpieces: San Nicola da Tolentino and St Francis of Paola receives a stem of charity from an Angel, by Nicola Carta, Final Communion of San Ferdinando di Castiglia by Pietro Benvenuti, a Transit di St Joseph by Camillo Gerra, the Immaculate Conception and the death of Sant'Andrea Avellino by Tommaso de Vivo. Before the main altar, is a 1641 work by Anselmo Cangiano, transferred here in 1835, from the church of the Santi Apostoli. In the apse is a painting of St Francis of Paola resuscitates a dead man by Vincenzo Camuccini.
