He resat as MP for Hertford in 1659 for the Restored Rump Parliament. Leman was created baronet on 3 March 1665. Leman married Rebecca Prescot, daughter of Edward Prescot, of Thoby, in Essex, and of London. He had a son, William.

The 1936 Winter Olympics were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. The games began on 6 February 1936, and ended on 16 February 1936. There were three cross-country skiing events held, in which only men competed. There were 109 male competitors from 22 different nations. The youngest participant was 17-year-old Resat Erces from Turkey, while the oldest participant was Nils Backstrom from the United States of America at 34 years old.

Ahmed was born on 1 February 1930 in Pamal village of Kendua, Netrokona. His father Talukdar Resat Ahmed Bhuiyan was a philanthropist. After passing the matriculation and intermediate examinations he took admission into the University of Dhaka in 1948, obtained bachelor's in economics in 1951 and master's in international relations in 1952 as a resident student of Fazlul Haq Hall. He attended a special course in public administration at the University of Oxford.

Papa Clem finished fourth in the May 2, 2009 Kentucky Derby, the first leg of the U.S. Triple Crown series. At age 4, after dropping six races in a row, Papa Clem battled for, and won, the 2010 San Fernando Stakes. Papa Clem was retired to stud in 2010 and currently stands at Legacy Ranch in Clements, California for $6,500. In 2017, Papa Clem was bought by Turkish breeder Resat Akkan and brought to Turkey where he continues studding.

A search troop and RESAT group were also detached to 77 Armoured Engineer Squadron and the US Army in BAGHDAD respectively. In January 2004, 86 personnel from both 73 and 75 Engineer Regiment (V) respectively were mobilised to deploy to Iraq and became fully integrated with 37 Armoured Engineer Squadron on 9 January 2004. Sadly the tour did not go without loss for 37 Armoured Engineer Squadron. On 31 January 2004, 22-year- old Spr Rab Thompson was killed in an accident in Basra when an excavation he was working and collapsed. His memory is maintained by the ‘Rab Thompson Cup’ – An annual inter-troop games competition. 37 returned to Paderborn, though during the beginning of 2005 elements deployed to Cyprus as part of Op TOSCA. In October 2006 the Squadron undertook training with the 1 PWRR Battle Groups in Poland on exercise ULAN EAGLE. In April 2006 the Squadron again deployed to Iraq on Operation TELIC 8, this time stationed in Shaibah Logistics Base (SLB) and Basra Air Station (BAS).
