Langley Park Wind Farm is a wind farm near Langley Park, County Durham, England. It was developed by EDF Energy and is operated by Cumbria Wind Farms, the farm has a nameplate capacity of 8.2 MW, containing four REpower Systems' MM82 turbines each rated at 2.05MW. In 2008 EDF accepted that it had failed to check the impact of the turbines on digital television reception, after residents of villages where the turbines lay on a line-of-sight to the local TV transmitter complained of a loss of signal strength and severe Freeview Digital Services disruption, particularly when the turbine blades rotate.

Shiloh IV involved removal of about 235 existing Kenetech 100 kW turbines, originally installed in 1989 with a capacity of 25 MW. This wind farm has a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service which allows for the death of 5 eagles per 5 years because of a collision with a turbine, without facing the penalties outlined by the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. The permit outlines the requirements of the project owner to minimize and offset those eagle deaths with the goal of no- net loss to the eagle population.

The Mount Mercer Wind Farm is located at Mount Mercer approximately 30 kilometres south of Ballarat in Western Victoria on 2600ha. The wind farm consists of 64 REpower MM92 wind turbines, giving a total installed capacity of 131 MW. It is expected to generate approximately 395,000 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity each year which could power approximately 74,000 households and result in a reduction of some 510,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. Mount Mercer wind farm viewed from Colac Ballarat Road Construction was to commence in September 2009 under the management of WestWind Energy, however the project changed hands to Meridian Energy in the middle of 2009 and construction was delayed several years with Meridian Energy citing the financial crisis of 2007–2008 as the cause. Further delays were caused by having to re-design the backhaul to the national grid and thus having to renegotiate easement agreements with local land owners.
