Barnes Regional Airport has one fixed-base operator (FBOs) and one G A Maintenance Facility. Rectrix Aviation is the newest FBO, operating in the new terminal building which includes a conference room, weather facilities, and comprehensive pilot services. They sell Shell fuel and provide typical FBO services. In late 2015, Rectrix bought out Five Star Jet Center, a former competitor and previously longest standing FBO on the field.

When all are maintained in a single genus, it is the most diverse of the Galliformes, having by far the most members. Francolins are terrestrial (though not flightless) birds that feed on insects, vegetable matter and seeds. Most of the members have a hooked upper beak, well-suited for digging at the bases of grass tussocks and rootballs. They have wide tails with fourteen rectrix feathers.

Island Air Cayman Islands BWI is a fixed-base operator in the Cayman Islands providing aircraft charter, air ambulance, ground handling, maintenance, meet and greet services, and aviation management services. The company is located on the grounds of Owen Roberts International Airport. It has one hangar, and one building for flight-planning, Customs and Immigration, and other activities. In Februar 2019 Ross Aviation, which also owns Rectrix Aviation, acquired Island Air.

The male has elongated feathers on the forehead, creating a short crest. The white tips of outermost rectrix are 50 mm long, next 55mm, and next 32 mm long. Adult females are less iridescent, with no frontal crest and the throat, belly and breast appearing brown-grey bordered by a green band. The female bill and feet are yellowish-brown to grey and their three outermost rectrices are also narrowly tipped with white.

The last common ancestor of woodpeckers (Picidae) was incapable of climbing up tree trunks or excavating nest cavities by drilling with its beak. The first adaptations for drilling (including reinforced rhamphotheca, frontal overhang and processus dorsalis pterygoidei) evolved in the ancestral lineage of piculets and true woodpeckers. Additional adaptations for drilling and tapping (enlarged condylus lateralis of the quadrate and fused lower mandible) have evolved in the ancestral lineage of true woodpeckers (Hemicircus excepting). The inner rectrix pairs became stiffened, and the pygostyle lamina was enlarged in the ancestral lineage of true woodpeckers (Hemicircus included), which facilitated climbing head first up tree limbs.

Gisela was renowned for her piety and virtue, much like her namesake, Gisela (the sister of Charlemagne), who had chosen the religious life from girlhood. Her dowry consisted of many rich domains including the fisc of Cysoing; located at the center of the country of Pèvele, Cysoing was one of the most beautiful fiscs in the region and became one of her and Eberhard's regular residences. There are two subspecies of Gould's petrel. Barnstable Municipal Airport covers an area of . The airport has two asphalt grooved runways: 6/24 is 5,425 x 150 ft (1,654 x 46 m) and 15/33 is 5,253 x 150 ft (1,601 x 46 m). Currently there are Cessna 402 operated by Cape Air, Beechcraft KingAir 300 operated by Rectrix Aviation, Cessna 208 operated by Wiggins Airways, and seasonally Embraer E190 from JetBlue Airways handled as commercial aircraft. Other commercial aircraft that served KHYA have included the NAMC YS-11, Douglas DC-3, McDonnell Douglas DC-9, Boeing 737, Boeing 727, ATR 42, Saab 340, and Bombardier Dash 8.
