Knowledge is Power received a Metacritic rating of 71%. It was generally praised for its aesthetic and use of PlayLink technology. Liam Martin for the Daily Express states "the colourful presentation, silly characters and claymation art style screams fun, and the smartphone controls are more suited to non gamers", but goes on to criticise the game's pacing "it's just a shame there's not enough actual quizzing going on". Similarly, Sam Brooke, in his review for Push Square called Knowledge Is Power "a solid, fun quiz game for when you've got friends or family around" but "there's too much waiting... and not enough actual quizzing going on".

Another group of participants exposed to the same footage were given a different task as a distractor, a verbal "pub quiz" game. This involved answering trivia questions from a range of topics unrelated to the distressing video footage. Due to the fact that a regulation game contains 20 toss-ups and 20 bonuses (each of which has from 4 to 8 specific questions), a Bible Bowl game can have a total of 170 different questions asked in the 20 minutes allotted to the game, more than any other Bible Quiz game. Again, this difference requires the game to move rapidly, and also contributes to the audience-friendly nature of the contest, since there is almost constant interaction between the quizmaster and the players.

Other Campuses De La Salle Alumni Association Accessed May 16, 2006 The television program Digital LG Quiz game show was hosted by a Lasallian alumnae, Ms. Bianca Araneta who taped several episodes at the King Center Theater from Seasons 2 to 4. The building houses the rehearsal rooms of the performing arts groups of the school, as well as the music and art classrooms. There are also two box offices located in the building, one at the ground level of the lobby, and one at the upper level, just by the dance studio. The Performing Arts Center is currently under complete renovation of the main theater.

World of Knowledge is a global Wikipedia inspired commercial project to enhance learning developed by company WOKcraft based on a community of users creating multiple choice questions for free public use. The abbreviation for the project is WOK and used to market quiz game mobile apps in a social network called the Knowledge Network. In all WOK apps the connection to Wikipedia is used by in coexistence with the multiple choice questions and Wikipedia content of articles and images using Wikipedia live content. WOK develops mobile apps in an ecosystem that are connected with the same scoresystem and with Wikipedia articles using the open API from Wikimedia Commons.

The third round, Close Up, is a head-to-head quiz game which sees each of the Lovers take on one of the Legends in a series of seven on- the-buzzer questions. Each Legend has a specialist subject related to their common TV role (for instance, Ricky Tomlinson's is 'comedy and drama' and Jeremy Kyle's is 'Daytime'; Chris Tarrant's is 'Entertainment' in all episodes). The playing Lover and Legend join Bacon at a podium and face an initial four questions on the subject at hand, then a clip is played, which is followed by a further three questions derived from the featured programme or personality. If the Lover gets more questions right than the Legend they are facing, five seconds is added to the endgame.

In 1985 the Universal House of Justice published The Promise of World Peace and in 1986 and the assembly of Hyderabad used the occasion of the International Year of Peace to sponsor a symposium on world peace and present the document to attendees. In 1989 Baháʼís from Karachi moved to and elected the first local assembly in Muzaffarabad while Baháʼís from Quetta sponsored a week long series of student competitions that were run in 11 schools in Baluchistan – each day different activities were run; The Elimination of Prejudice, national songs, a quiz game, and a drama contest were among the events held. In 1998, when the Taliban authorities in Afghanistan arrested many Baháʼís, many fled to Pakistan but many were able to return by 2002.

Dabney did continue to help Bushnell with starting his Pizza Time Theater (the predecessor of Chuck E. Cheese's) and Catalyst Technologies as an employee, being wary of Bushnell's previous treatment of him. Alongside these, he worked for several companies, including Raytheon and Fujitsu, and at other times working on his own projects for his own video game company Syzygy Game Company, where he made games that Bushnell used for his Pizza Time Theaters, including an arcade quiz game based on science fiction writer Isaac Asimov.

The band's third release "Banking on Simon" was used in abridged form as the theme to the ITV children's television music-themed quiz game Poparound, which was produced by Central Independent Television and ran for two series between 1985–6. Terry and Gerry appeared on one edition of the programme to perform the song (with "Doreen" playing washboard). Despite the use of the A-side as a children's TV theme the B-side featured a song about a young man named Joey tragically addicted to illegal drugs. At the time the name Joey had a particular stigma attached to it after children cruelly used it to abuse others in reference to Joey Deacon a man with cerebral palsy who had appeared on BBC children's TV show Blue Peter.

Chase H.Q. was successful enough to earn two arcade- based sequels - the widely released Special Criminal Investigation released in 1989 and the extremely rare Super Chase: Criminal Termination released in 1992. It also earned two spin-offs - the run and gun Crime City, and the quiz game Quiz H.Q.. Special Criminal Investigation expands on the original with the addition of guns - the passenger can rise out of the T-top of his Nissan 300ZX Z32 and shoot at oncoming targets. To take advantage of this, enemies are placed throughout the level and will attempt to shoot at or ram the player as they attempt to pursue the main criminal. Deviating from the relatively realistic tracks on offer in the original, the sequel features pursuits through waterfalls and unfinished sections of elevated highway.

At the end of the 1990s Blasi tried different approaches to get back into show business; she worked as a model for the photostories done by the "Lancio" publishing house, she posed nude for a few photoshoots and walked the runways for some of the fashion agencies in Rome, she joined a comedy at the Testaccio theater in Rome, and competed in the Miss Italia pageant in 1998, with the number 22 at the age of 17 wearing the belt of "Miss Cinema Lazio". She had her first TV role, although it would not influence the course of her career, by joining the cast of the 1999 edition of Scherzi a parte. As Blasi wanted to continue to work in TV, after two years spent in participating in many castings, all with negative response, she decided to make a last attempt. She applied to the casting for the pre-dinner quiz game of Canale 5 Passaparola hosted by Gerry Scotti and she was recruited for the 2001/2002 edition.

The group began singing as part of the long-standing Columbia University a cappella group the Kingsmen, but changed their name due to the Pacific Northwest group of the same name that became famous for recording "Louie, Louie". Conceived by George Leonard, then a graduate student in humanities, Sha Na Na began performing in 1969 at the height of the hippie counterculture, and achieved national fame after playing at the Woodstock Festival, where Rob Leonard, the president and bass singer of the band, sang the lead on “Teen Angel” when the band opened for their friend Jimi Hendrix. Their 90-second appearance in the Woodstock film brought the group national attention and helped spark a 1950s nostalgia craze that inspired similar groups (Flash Cadillac, Showaddywaddy, Big Daddy), as well as the Broadway musical Grease (and its feature film adaptation), the feature film American Graffiti and the TV show Happy Days. The group's first manager, Ed Goodgold, codified trivia as a nostalgic quiz game and conducted the nation's first trivia contests with Dan Carlinsky in 1965.
