Self-Portrait by J.B. Manson, c.1912 Lilian was a close friend of Tate director Charles Aitken and, in summer 1911, the Mansons stayed with him at a holiday home in Alfriston, Sussex. Manson had assisted Aitken with hanging a show at the Tate and the Director was sufficiently impressed to suggest Manson took the job of Clerk, vacant since its former occupant had been pilfering the petty cash. Manson achieved by far the best results out of the four applicants taking the appropriate civil service exam, and, age 33, became Tate Clerk on 9 December 1912 with an annual salary of £150.

To lessen the problem, Porter took $60 from the studio's petty cash and bought fiberglass acoustic ceiling panels which he and Tommy Strong, his assistant engineer, cut into triangles and hung from the ceiling at varying heights; these were called "Porter Pyramids". Adjacent to Studio B was a utility room containing a plate reverb device made by EMT, German makers of similar effects units installed in other recording studios around the world.

Towards the end of the 20th century, Punta Arenas became slowly uninhabited due to the fall of Petroperú and its management problems caused by Alberto Fujimori's treatment of the company's funds as a source of petty cash for the country. The so-called "luxury" in the area did not seem to match the crisis in the rest of Peru. As an attempt to keep Punta Arenas alive, the houses were offered for sale or rent to private third parties, which did not prove successful. In recent years, many of the houses have been vandalized and demolished, partly because of the lack of use and maintenance.

Other allegations included expenses for the upkeep of the home of her partner, fellow MP Jim Dowd MP, in his Lewisham constituency under her second home allowance despite Dowd claiming the London salary supplement intended to cover the additional cost of living in London. However Nick's ex-wife Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) returns months later, and after hearing what Maria had done to her stepsister Toyah, succeeds in splitting Nick and Maria. Buckman made a name for himself in the L.A. music scene as the bassist for the band Tribal Sex Cult. Upon the demise of T.S.C., Phil kept busy with a wide variety of projects including Texture (Vital Recordings), Helicopter Helicopter, (Initial Records), FINE (Flip Records), Kill the Complex, and The Snow (Northern Lights) as well as contributing to various film and television soundtracks. Other bands he has been associated with include Onesidezero (Maverick), vOLUMe, THE iMPOSTERS (Interscope), and Go Betty Go (sideonedummy). He is the former bassist for the industrial rock band Filter, and the bassist for Petty Cash (Tom Petty/Johnny Cash tribute band).

However, Rose Lindsey (Joanna Cassidy), a company executive, finds her résumé so impressive that she offers Sue Ellen a job as an executive assistant, much to the chagrin of Carolyn (Jayne Brook), a receptionist on Rose's floor who was initially in line for the job. While the kids have dinner at a Chuck E. Cheese's that night, Mrs. Sturak's car is stolen by drag queens, forcing Sue Ellen to call in a favor from Bryan to bring them home. Sue Ellen then obtains the keys to her mother's Volvo, and begins stealing from petty cash at GAW to support the family, intending to return it when she receives her paycheck.

After being dismissed from a job as a junior clerk with a Sydney shipping company for pilfering petty cash, he went to Papua New Guinea at the age of eighteen, seeking his fortune in tobacco planting and metals mining. In January 1931, Flynn became engaged to Naomi Campbell-Dibbs, the youngest daughter of Robert and Emily Hamlyn (Brown) Campbell-Dibbs of Temora and Bowral, New South Wales.

During this trip, Muñiz met Edith Cabrera, a divorced TV soap opera actress, and they were soon romantically involved, even though she knew that he was married. In a court-ordered deposition, Cabrera acknowledged their romance lasted until his death and that Muñiz had proposed marriage to her since he was separated from his wife Pilar Perez Negron. Two weeks before his death, Muñiz called Cabrera from Havana and asked her to take petty cash from the travel agency and rent a furnished studio apartment for him in the Villamar neighborhood of Isla Verde. As a result of the actions at Morton, the (pre-union) National Education Association's department of secondary school principals censured the board, and called for new laws that would prevent similar abuses in the future. Later in March, the board secretly selected a new superintendent and principal, despite a recommendation from the North Central Association that a list of educators form a search committee. By this time, results of inquiries into the finances of the district had been hampered by the disappearance of the district's financial officer. When it was determined that the controller had taken money from the school's petty cash, leaving an IOU, the board requested, and received, a warrant for his arrest.

In 1208, Robert acquired the Honour of Eye (presumably as an administrator) through his service to the royal household. Closely associated with the earl, he was frequently mentioned in documents.. Robert was responsible for collecting the earl's monetary payment (known as a money fief) from the exchequer in 1210, and the earl was one of the men who vouched for Robert's ability to pay the 700 marks for his marriage to Gallena Dammartin. The king's half-brother, the Earl of Longsword's word carried weight; his decision to vouch for Robert implies that they were close. By 1210, Robert helped the king pay imprests (petty cash) and wages for troops for the campaign in Ireland.

On top of it all, Sue Ellen has to rebuff the frequent sexual advances of Rose's philandering boyfriend, Gus (John Getz), who also works with the company. When she learns that GAW is in danger of going out of business, Sue Ellen takes it upon herself to create a new clothing line, and Rose suggests holding a fashion show to exhibit their new designs. With no petty cash left to rent a banquet hall, Sue Ellen offers to host the party, convincing her siblings to help clean up the house, beautify the yard, and act as caterers. Although she manages to pull off the party, it comes to an end when Mrs.

There is evidence of a cat in residence in the English government dating back to the reign of Henry VIII, when Cardinal Thomas Wolsey placed his cat by his side while acting in his judicial capacity as Lord Chancellor. Official records, however, released into the public domain on 4 January 2005 as part of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 only date back to 3 June 1929, when A.E. Banham at the Treasury authorised the Office Keeper "to spend 1d a day from petty cash towards the maintenance of an efficient cat". In April 1932, the weekly allowance was increased to 1s 6d. By the 21st century, the mouser was costing £100 per annum.

Most of the charges involve embezzlement or misappropriation of state-owned companies and awarding state contracts where there was a conflict of interest. These include Entel, a state communications company that saw losses of $250 million and was called MAS's "petty cash", the Neurona case, the Bolivian Highway Administrator that saw $310 million disappear into uncompleted or unobserved projects, investments in state-owned petroleum projects that were not developed and the diversion of money from the Indigenous Fund. All these cases involve government ministers and several were subject to complaints from members of the opposition in the past. Corruption watchdogs have observed that corruption was common under the MAS government and continues to be a problem in the interim government.

In "The Chop", Gordon resigns from the leisure centre (although he is reinstated a few weeks later), in order to protect her when she admits to taking £300 from the leisure centre's petty cash to buy a dog. She also possessed a latent murderous streak, having once arranged for Gordon to be assassinated while on holiday in Bulgaria. On another occasion (series 5, episode 3) one of her children was given a D grade for some English homework; having been the one who had actually done the work, Helen responded by reversing her car into the classroom in attempt to kill the teacher in revenge. She later reassured Laura that the teacher "swung up on a light fitting" and so was never harmed.

Julius Kronberg's studio, now at Skansen In the second half of the 19th century, the house at Lille Skuggan was the summer residence first of the architect Axel Nyström, and then of his fellow architect Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander. Scholander's daughter Ellen married the artist Julius Kronberg, who became a permanent resident of Lilla Skuggen and had a studio built there in 1889 to his own design; it was completed in 1912 by the architect Jacob J:son Gate.

Kevin's later success in resolving the parking space problem in Dunder Mifflin's favor gives him the small victory that he really needed."The Chair Model" In "Job Fair", Kevin's zeal to gamble during a trip to the golf course with Jim, Andy and a prospective customer implies that his gambling may be a compulsive behavior rather than just a casual hobby, as he takes money from petty cash in order to turn it into "this month's rent." In "Goodbye, Toby", Dwight tells the office's new HR representative Holly that Kevin is mentally challenged and that he got his job at Dunder Mifflin through a special program.

Many different objects of silver, copper, bronze and gold were used as currency until eventually coins and paper bills were invented, and cheques and credit cards came along when it became impractical to carry one's cash around at all times. When the nephews suggest simply printing "a few billion more dollars," Scrooge explains that a billion is actually far more than they think and that making more money would lead to dangerous inflation. He describes that it's what you can buy with what you've got is what counts, and that it's a question of economics, and how one must balance one's budget like the pieces of a pie to live comfortable, adding that income tax pays for everything from schools to roads and must be factored in as well. He clarifies that his enormous vault holds only "petty cash" and that money must circulate "like ocean currents" to keep the world moving, and advises his nephews to invest their money very wisely to make it grow.
