The Joint Executive Committee (, abbreviated ОИК, 'OIK') was an organ of soviet power in the Russian Far East during the 1917 revolution. OIK was formed on August 29, 1917 at a meeting in Vladivostok. OIK included members of the Executive Committee of the Vladivostok Soviet, the Executive Bureau of the Maritime Province Soviet of Peasants Deputies, the Vladivostok city government and city duma, the Central Trade Union Bureau, the Military Commission of the Vladivostok Soviet, the Central Committee of the Siberian Flotilla and the regional Public Safety Committee (KOB). Members of all the socialist parties were represented in OIK.

The filling limit is 499 places, including the colony-settlement section with 40 places.

This work included a residency at the Studio for Electro- Instrumental Music (STEIM), which culminated in a performance at the Frascati Theatre in Amsterdam with Paul Dunmall. During their stay at STEIM, kREEPA helped initiate the OIK project that involved the hacking of commercially available hardware to create economic musical interfaces. Richards developed the kreepback instrument that is an assemblage of do-it-yourself electronic devices and audio hardware patched together to create a feedback labyrinth.

(OIC)IVG Immobilien übernimmt 50,1 % an OIK, 22 April 2004 and, in 2005, IVG acquired 33 gas storage caverns owned by the Federal Republic of Germany in Etzel, near Wilhelmshaven. IVG's interest in OIC increased to 94 percent in 2006/2007 and OIC was renamed IVG Institutional Funds GmbH and integrated into the former IVG Funds.

The Ombudsperson Institution in Kosovo (OIK) accepts and investigates complaints of human rights violations or abuses of authority by any public authority in Kosovo. The institution is currently led by Ombudsperson Sami Kurteshi, a former opposition activist, political prisoner and human rights activist, who was elected to the post by the Assembly of Kosovo on 4 June 2009. In October 2011 the Assembly elected five deputy Ombudspersons: Isa Hasani, Bogoljub Staletovic [from the Serb community], Shqipe Malaj-Ibra, Ibrahim Arslan (from the Turkish community) and Basri Berisha. The first Ombudsperson, Marek Antoni Nowicki, was appointed in July 2000 by the then Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary- General (SRSG), Bernard Kouchner; Nowicki's appointment was renewed in 2002, 2004 and 2005 by subsequent SRSGs Michael Steiner, Harri Holkeri and Søren Jessen-Petersen.
