After a babysitting blunder, which leads to Jamie Clarke (S.J. Dey) nearly drowning, Todd runs away from home and begins living in a squat with a petty criminal named Skinner (Mat Stevenson) who forces him into crime. Nick, acting on a hunch, follows Todd and Skinner who are about to rob a warehouse, which backfires, resulting in Nick's arrest. Racked with guilt, Todd returns home and confesses to get Nick off the hook, resulting in Todd being cautioned.

Meanwhile, after escaping the Lacey residence, Bex attempts to look for help only to be ignored by the residents of the town. She is kidnapped by Diamond's friend Johnny, who tries to force Diamond to publicly hang her in retribution for Diamond's humiliation, but Bex successfully convinces him to spare her.

The next morning Madison and Nick arrive at Broke Jaw Ranch, run by Jeremiah Otto, Jake and Troy's father. They find out that the helicopter carrying Travis, Alicia, Luciana, Jake, and Charlie never made it to the ranch causing Troy to order Madison and Nick off the truck while they wait outside the gates of the ranch while Troy goes looking for them. Nick wanting to leave the ranch because of Troy's actions back at the compound is convinced by Madison to wait. Madison is greeted by Jeremiah Otto who gives Madison coffee and asks if Travis could have hijacked the helicopter, implying his actions were based on his race, leading Madison to say he'd protect her daughter at all costs.

However, Spurs controversially won all three points after Tom Huddlestone hit a fierce long range shot into the bottom corner of the net, which the Fulham team thought had taken a nick off William Gallas, who was indeed standing in an offside position. The goal stood and it seemed it was the right decision, as the ball actually hit a Fulham defender on its way to goal rather than Gallas. Tottenham were then facing the reigning European champions Internazionale on a night to remember for Spurs fans at the San Siro.
