At his school's library, Danny is quietly annoying Andy about how he wants to be invisible. To stop Danny bragging and get him out of the library so he can work alone afterwards, Andy pulls out a tube of fictional round candy balls, which he claims are "invisipills", and can actually make people invisible, offering one to Danny. Once he is "invisible", unaware that he is actually not, Danny causes severe havoc around the library, during which Andy's lollies are confiscated by Mrs. Wharton, the school librarian, who later "ceases" Danny's antics by twisting his ear.

The band was formed in early 2014 by Zach Quinn and Brian Pretus, a year after the breakup of their previous band The Lollies. Quinn and Pretus enlisted former bandmate Alex Talbot to play bass and friend John Bourgeois as their drummer. The band played their first show on Mardi Gras Day with Epitaph Records band Off With Their Heads, which gained the interest of Ryan Young. After a short run with two drummers Bourgeois (who recorded Go To Prison) and Tim Harman (who went out on their 1st tour), PEARS enrolled Jarret Nathan of the Philadelphia band Push Ups.

Charles Diver's original recipe The Regina Confectionery Company in Oamaru first introduced pineapple chunks around 1952–54. Charles Diver, the confectionery chief and floor production-manager at Regina who would later formulate other classic Kiwi sweets, had the task of using up waste product from other lollies of the time. One sweet in particular — an early version of the chocolate fish with a pineapple-flavoured marshmallow middle — resulted in the most marshmallow left over, which Diver used to create pineapple chunks. The product's name was changed to pineapple lumps by Regina in the early 1960s to give it a more catchy name.

Excited, Boy hides the moneybag in his goat's pen, then takes his father's Crazy Horses jacket and proudly treats his friends to ice blocks and lollies. When Alamein drives up, Boy goes to tell him that he has found the money, but Alamein hits Boy for stealing his jacket and angrily questions him about where he found the money for the ice blocks, leaving Boy humiliated. Alamein later apologizes, telling his son for the first time that he loves him, and Boy goes to retrieve the moneybag; only to find that it has been eaten by his goat. Alamein and Rocky continue to dig for the hidden money, making Boy uneasy.

Vadilal offers a range of ice creams in the country with multiple flavors and packs, across forms (cones, candies, bars, ice-lollies, small cups, big cups, family packs, and economy packs). In addition to a supermarket presence, Vadilal also has a retail presence through its Happinnezz ice-cream parlors, which are run through a franchisee model. Vadilal entered the processed foods industry to optimise utilisation of its extensive cold chain network in the 1990s. It caters to the domestic and export markets with products such as frozen vegetables and ready to eat snacks, curries and breads, in addition to the traditional core ice cream business.

It took advantage of Danish investment in the early 1960s and initially specialised in pasteurized milk. However, in 1962, the company changed its name to Fan Milk Limited, and branched out into the production of ice cream, yoghurt and ice lollies. The name has since become a household name in Ghana, and is a common sight to see ice cream carts and bicycles on beaches and the streets selling the brand. Fan Milk Limited was the first foreign invested company in Ghana to become a Public Limited Liability in 1967 and among the first Companies to be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange on 18 October 1991 with the symbol FML.

The description on the packaging reads "Real Strawberry and vanilla flavour ice lolly with chocolate flavour coating (5%) and sugar strands (5%)".

The letter turned out to be a false alarm, after being x-rayed police deemed it safe to open, and discovered a theatre invitation and lollies. In December that year the Minister of Police George Hawkins told 57 Auckland police including Broad to return their cellphones, as part of a cost- cutting exercise. Police Association president Greg O'Connor, and opposition police spokesman Brian Neeson, who suggested police would next be sharing teabags, derided the move. For his work as the principal law enforcement member with Netsafe, the national multi-agency Internet safety programme, the Society for the Policing of Cyberspace (Canada) named him the 2002 inaugural winner of the International Law Enforcement Award.

At the end of the Second World War – during which Gabriello fought alongside the partisans (he was the commander of the 77th Garibaldi Brigade in Italy and the Third International Brigade in Spain) – Gelati Cecchi made a giant leap towards industrialisation. The gelato parlour in Corso Palestro was no longer big enough for its ambitious founder, who was in no doubt as to the quality of his products and wished to distribute them beyond the borders of Turin. New machines and technologies became available, hence the first production plant in Via Abate Chanoux was set up: an establishment that initially employed 40 people. Gelati Cecchi produced gelato lollies, cones, sandwiches and tubs.

The Keppel Sands Rural Fire Brigade helping Santa hand out lollies at Christmas Towns, suburbs, and localities in the southern section of the Capricorn Coast are Broadmount, Cawarral, Coorooman, Coowonga, Girt Island, Hedlow, Ironpot, Joskeleigh, Keppel Sands, Long Beach (or Joskeleigh Beach), Quartz Rock, Tanby, Tungamull, Thompson's Point. Often referred to as the "forgotten" end of the Capricorn Coast, the rural and seaside communities south of the major population centres have two principal commons; they are centred on the life- giving waterways in the area, such as Coorooman Creek, Nankin Creek, Limestone Creek, and the Fitzroy River. Pineapples and mangoes are amongst the fruit crops, and cattle graze freely in green pastures in the lee of low ranges. Fishing and boating are popular pursuits, with community festivals well frequented, and local support groups such as the Rural Fire Brigade well attended.

"Treat" foods that parents are familiarising their children with are key contributors to obesity. Parents, guardians and teachers all play a key role in the mentality that children have towards certain types of foods as they develop. The first five years of a child’s life, when developing a familiarisation with solids, can ultimately have a negative influence on the foods that they give preference to in the future. “Treat” food consumption, which is a well- intentioned technique used by parents to reward their children, contributes to between 23- 24% of an individuals total daily energy intake (aged between 2–16 years old). With no more than 20% being recommended daily, it is visibly clear that adults may not be allowing their children to develop an intrinsic motivation for healthy foods, ‘rewarding’ them with energy dense snacks such as potato chips, muffins, lollies, and popcorn from the theatre.

Division is often introduced through the notion of "sharing out" a set of objects, for example a pile of lollies, into a number of equal portions. More systematic and more efficient (but also more formalised, more rule-based, and more removed from an overall holistic picture of what division is achieving), a person who knows the multiplication tables can divide two integers with pencil and paper using the method of short division, if the divisor is small, or long division, if the divisor is larger.
