Risk Me began his second season in the Greenham Stakes (a trial race for the 2000 Guineas) over seven furlongs at Newbury Racecourse. Ridden by Steve Cauthen and starting at odds of 5/2 he appeared to relish the heavy gound and won by five lengths from Deputy Governor. On much firmer gound at Newmarket on for the 2000 Guineas on 2 May he started 9/2 third choice in the betting but ran poorly and came home thirteenth behind Don't Forget Me. He was matched against older horses in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury thirteen days later but again failed to handle firm gound and finished unplaced behind the four-year-old Then Again, beaten more than fifteen lengths by the winner. At the end of the month the colt was sent to France for the Prix Jean Prat over 1800 metres at Longchamp in which he faced the undefeated Soviet Star, the winner of the Poule d'Essai des Poulains.

Cornufer macrops, also known as the Aresi wrinkled gound frog, is a species of frog in the family Ceratobatrachidae. The specific name macrops refers to the very large eyes of this species. It is endemic to Bougainville Island, in the Papua New Guinean part of the Solomon Islands archipelago. It is only known from the mountains of northern Bougainville Island, near Kunua, although its true range could be much wider.

In order to produce sago, cycasin and other cycad toxins must be removed from the flesh of the plants. The flesh, seeds, and roots of the cycad are first dried and gound into a fine powder, before being submerged in boiling water. The water is then allowed to drain, leaching out the toxic material while leaving the starch behind. The extracted starch is then alternately dried and pounded until a fine powder is obtained.

Orchids in the genus Nervilia are terrestrial, perennial, deciduous, sympodial herbs with an oval to almost spherical tuber and sometimes a few short roots. The flat racing season in Ireland was disrupted by the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Irish 1000 Guineas was run three weeks later than usual on 13 June behind closed doors at the Curragh. Albigna started the 6/5 favourite in an eleven-runner field but never looked likely to win and finished sixth, four and a half lengths behind the winner Peaceful. The S-6 was to have a two- wheel nose landing gear and single-wheeled main landing gear, retracting into the fuselage.
