John Fraser Secondary School is a public high school (serving grades 9-12) located on Erin Centre Boulevard, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. The Rath Eastlink Community Centre is a multi purpose sporting facility located in Truro, Nova Scotia. The facility features an NHL sized arena, a competition-sized (25m) swimming pool, a water slide, a fitness centre and, a rock climbing wall. The facility opened on March 2, 2013. The opening day was set for fall 2012 but, was delayed due to a steel plant fire, and painting issues during construction of the arena.

The speedway team, Nelson Admirals, eventually moved to Odsal Stadium, Bradford in 1970, though the stock cars remained until the stadium was demolished. The site is currently undeveloped and accommodates the annual Nelson travelling fun fair. There is currently an all weather athletics track known as the Seedhill Athletics and Fitness Centre however this is on Surrey Road on the opposite side of the cricket field and has never been home to Nelson Football Club.

Steven Foley-Sheridan (or Steven Foley, born 10 February 1986) is an Irish former professional footballer who played for Bournemouth. He played in midfield and featured in Aston Villa's FA Youth Cup win in 2002, and in their run to the final two years later. After over 2 years out injured with a serious back injury, Foley retired in 2008 and returned home where he now manages a fitness centre in Dublin city.

The Terrace Bay Cultural Centre was built in October 2010 which includes the expanded Terrace Bay Public Library, the Terrace Bay Seniors' Activity Centre, and the Michael King Community Hall.

Students' Union UCL runs over 300 clubs and societies, as well as 4 bars, 4 cafés, 1 shop and a fitness centre. UCL students through the Union have access to put on shows at the Bloomsbury Theatre. The Union's sports clubs have access to several different venues including Bloomsbury Fitness, the Somers Town Sports Centre and the Shenley Sports grounds, which Watford Football Club rent for training purposes. Arsenal F.C. rented it as training grounds until 1998.

Montague has had several modest property developments in recent decades, consisting of several subdivisions, as well as new big box retail and institutional buildings. The bridge carrying Route 4 across the Montague River was replaced in December 2007. The Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre, opened in 2009 on the southern edge of the community beside the existing Atlantic Fitness Centre East complex. In order to amalgamate the college onto one campus, Nelson & Colne College gained funding of over £20 million, which allowed for the provision of new buildings and refurbishment of some existing facilities. Facilities include a sports hall large enough to accommodate six tennis courts and a fitness centre. Music performances also take place in the Multi Purpose Hall, in the school's Recital Room and often outside in the Park, with the annual 'Bede's Fest' rock and pop music festival taking place here. In 1928 Ralph Dickinson created the purpose-built 1,000 seat Palladium Cinema on Norman Lane, opened in 1929. Later the cinema changed ownership and in 1931 the new owner John Lambert altered the name to Regal. In 1958 the cinema closed for refurbishment and updating, and reopened later that year, but closed finally in 1966. Later with the construction of an extra internal floor the building was used as a bingo hall, a snooker hall and then a fitness centre.

The Meadows Sports Centre is an en-suite sports complex including a hall, fitness centre, men's and women's changing rooms and a new 'astroturf'. The sports complex, as well as being used by the school, is also used in 'out of school' hours allowing members of the public to use it. Vitesse's training facilities are conducted at National Sports Centre Papendal, located in the outskirts of Arnhem in woodland surroundings. The training ground consists of several pitches, a number of which have an artificial turf pitch, and extensive training facilities, including a fitness centre. Papendal, a mere twelve kilometers north of the GelreDome, is not only the training facility for Vitesse's first team; the youth teams play their home matches here as well. Its main field has seating capacity for 500 people.

The primary school was gradually phased out and by 1944 Stella Maris was purely a high school for girls. The last Good Samaritan Principal left the school in 1995, and in 1997 the Convent was handed over for College use. Since then there have been a number of extensions and developments to accommodate the approximately nine hundred students who study there today. Along the walls of the 50-metre pool within the Cook and Phillip Park Aquatic and Fitness Centre are eight paintings by Sydney artist Wendy Sharpe that depict the life of Australian Annette Kellerman, a swimmer and performer who overcame a number of obstacles to become a world champion. The paintings are there to provide inspiration to the public and an example of human struggle and achievement. The artworks were completed in 1999 on vinyl ester panels for the opening of the Centre.

Parkville Sport at The University of Melbourne is overseen by Melbourne University Sport (MU Sport), which is a department of the university. The Dormston Centre includes a sports hall, fitness centre, art gallery, theatre and cafe. It cost nearly £6 million to build, £4 million of which was provided by a grant from the National Lottery. Around a decade after it was first planned, the go-ahead for the centre was finally given in July 1996 when the Lottery grant was given, and the facilities were in use by March 2000 - six months behind schedule. The Grand Assembly Rooms is a Grade II listed building and was built in 1889. Prior to being used by the Culture Lab, the building was listed on 4 August 2000 and was then used as the University PE and Fitness Centre. The building was designed by Lamb and Armstrong of Newcastle and was included as a listed building for being a "good surviving Victorian public building, with particularly fine if eroded stone decoration on its principal façade, and an excellent range of internal fixtures".

It is located at 1225 Robert-Bourassa Boulevard at the corner of Cathcart Street in Downtown Montreal, opposite Place Ville-Marie. In 2004 Talisman Centre completed a $24 million expansion. The new Fitness Centre is named, Dr. Neville Lindsay Sport Wellness Centre, to commemorate and honour Calgary's first doctor and legendary pioneer who owned the land upon which the facility sits. The new Aquatic Centre is named, The Calgary Foundation Aquaplex, to recognize and celebrate the contributions of The Calgary Foundation through a major gift from an anonymous donor. The facility holds sporting events both professional and amateur, and all facilities are open to the public.

The National Sports Campus is located in Blanchardstown, and includes the National Aquatic Centre (NAC), a major indoor aquatics facility with a 50m swimming pool, diving pool, leisure pool and aquapark, and fitness centre. The centre hosted the Special Olympics World Summer Games in 2003, and a number of international swimming events since then. The annual Macadam Cup There are over 50 sports clubs, many of which compete in the University of London and British Universities & Colleges (BUCS) leagues across the South East. The annual Macadam Cup is a varsity match played between the sports teams of King's College London proper (KCL) and King's College London Medical School (KCLMS). King's students and staff have played an important part in the formation of the London Universities and Colleges Athletics. Created in January 2013, King’s Sport, a partnership between King's College London and KCLSU, manages all the sports activities and facilities of King's. King’s Sport runs the King’s Sport Health and Fitness Centre situated at the Waterloo Campus, which has been refurbished in 2014 and features an indoor cycling studio, fixed resistance and free weights and cardiovascular areas. King’s Sport also operates 3 sports grounds in New Malden, Honor Oak Park and Dulwich. There are also on-campus sports facilities at Guy’s, St Thomas's and Denmark Hill campuses. A fitness centre (Anytime Fitness, previously Fitness Link) and a wheelchair-accessible Bendigo Bank, relocating from the IGA side of the Main Hurstbridge road. The FS Young Library was built in 1936 as a permanent memorial to FS Young, College headmaster from 1900–1931. Since 1992 it has been run by qualified librarians and is fully supervised for 70 hours a week to provide research and study facilities and assistance for pupils and staff. It is also home to an extensive archive of College records, publications, photographs, cuttings, and memorabilia including old uniforms from the College’s early days. Announced on 25 June 2019, a second Raffles Hotel named Raffles Sentosa Resort & Spa Singapore will be built on Sentosa at the site adjacent to the existing Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa. A marker on the College Park building at the southwest corner of Yonge and College Streets provides history of the site. In September 1915, The Bishop Strachan School opened as a large gothic-style structure, made of Credit Valley limestone, at its present-day Forest Hill location at 298 Lonsdale Road. The island is served by the Lt. Whale Cay Airport and by a small harbour. Travel to the island is easiest from Nassau or Ft. Lauderdale (mainland USA) either direct to the Cay (in the case of Nassau flights) or via the local customs office on Chubb Cay (In the case of Miami flights). The island has three houses for guests to hire; Little Whale, Peacock and Flamingo. Erdington Library Also on the High Street is Erdington Parish Church, and nearby on Sutton Road is The Abbey Church. The Parish Church was severely damaged by fire on the morning of 4 October 2007. Finally, in August 1955, the Department of Education acquired an area of 42 acres in Jeffries Street and the site was set aside as a school reserve. The Tiverton Pool and Fitness Centre originally opened in Bournbrook on 28 January 1906 as Tiverton Road Public Baths. They were built by King's Norton and Northfield District Council to the design of E Harding Payne and built by a local building firm, T A Cole & Son. There were two swimming baths, one with a gallery for spectators, a children's bath and separate private baths for men and women. The larger men’s swimming pool would be floored over in the winter months and the floorspace was used for concerts, political meetings, and dances.

Bourne End Marina on the River Thames The village has two recreation grounds (Furlong Road and Blind Lane), riverside open space at the marina and Spade Oak Reach, a Junior Sports Club and fitness centre and the long-established Upper Thames Sailing Club. For many residents and visitors alike, the river is the central attraction of Bourne End, and many leisure pursuits involve or revolve around it. Early in the twenty-first century the site underwent a complete physical overhaul. All of the original buildings were demolished, replaced by a series of sixteen contemporary structures, built in grey metal and glass. These buildings include a reception building, a business events centre, and two restaurants, and a service building all of which are single-storey (although one of the restaurants has a basement that contains a sports and fitness centre), as well as eleven multi-storey office blocks. The arena, located in Kviberg Park in eastern Gothenburg, is the largest multi-sport complex in the Nordic countries. Since opening in March 2003, the centre has hosted the swimming events of the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games, the 2003 European Short Course Swimming Championships and a number of international water polo events. It also hosts the Irish Open Swimming Championships, Irish Senior Water Polo Cup, Irish Open Diving Championships, as well as a number of other national and regional aquatic events.

In 1955, the school transferred 20 blocks south to a newly built structure (the current building), on a large block of parkland. (The original 1908 building went through various uses before becoming Old Scona Academic High School in 1976.) Strathcona Composite is located on Edmonton's south side, just south of the Old Strathcona historic district. Yanbian Funde F.C. () was a Chinese football club. The team was based in Yanji, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin province where their home stadium is the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium that has a seating capacity of 30,000. The club's predecessor was originally called Jilin FC and they achieved one top tier domestic league title before 1994, when the club was reorganised to become a completely professional football unit. At the end of the 2000 league campaign, the club was relegated from the top tier of Chinese football, however, the club faced financial difficulties and sold the first team as well as the franchise to Zhejiang Greentown.

In 1986 a 20 unit seniors apartment building was built and named the Malott Apartments, after the Late Arthur Malott who donated all the funds for its construction. In 2009 a second 20 unit seniors apartment building was added to form the Komoka Seniors Apartments Complex. In 2011 the new Komoka Community Wellness Centre was opened and is home to the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs AAA Hockey teams, and was home to the Komoka Dragons Jr A hockey team of the GMHL. It also offers a YMCA fitness centre, walking track, two NHL size ice rinks, a library, meeting rooms, and an outside children's play area.

In Old Deer Park the Pools on the Park leisure centre, run by the borough council, includes 33m indoor and outdoor pools and a fitness centre. The Saryarka Velodrome (, Saryarqa velotregi; ) is an indoor cycle-racing track or velodrome that is located in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Constructed in the shape of a racer's helmet, the velodrome is a unique sports complex that not only houses a cycling track, but its 58,000 metre square surface area also contains a sports courts, a fitness centre, a swimming pool, a basketball court, an ice rink, as well as conference halls, a restaurant and a hotel. The Montreal Canadiens and the City of Brossard partnered in building the Bell Sports Complex, a 30-million Canadian dollar recreational facility that features two NHL-sized rinks with a capacity of 800 seats, as well as dressing rooms, an indoor soccer field (built to FIFA specifications) and a fitness centre. It is open to the general public and was built adjacent to the Quartier DIX30 shopping complex. It primarily serves as the practice facility for the Canadiens, but is also the home of other sports-related groups, such as Foot-Total, a soccer academy. Cheadle Hulme Recreation Centre, which is attached to Cheadle Hulme High School, contains a large sports hall, squash courts, tennis courts, an astro-turf pitch and a large playing field. Cheadle Pools and Target Fitness Centre, located off Cheadle Road, contains two swimming pools, and a gym. Manchester Rugby Club is located on Grove Lane in Cheadle Hulme, as is Cheadle Hulme Cricket Club, which was established in 1881, and a squash club. The open-air area has banks, a kindergarten, a community centre, music and dance centres, Telford Annex of the Community College of City University, and clinics. Previously, nearby there was also Wellington College (now part of City University), a police station, the Independent Commission Against Corruption offices (now moved), a skatepark, and other facilities. M By Montcalm Shoreditch Tech City Hotel is a contemporary-style, 18-storey hotel capable of holding events for 250 delegates. It contains 269 rooms, a business centre, meeting room space on its second floor, a spa and fitness centre, a swimming pool, two bars and two restaurants – one on the ground floor and the other on the 17th floor. The 17th floor restaurant, Urban Coterie, is overseen by head chef Martin Zahumensky (formerly of restaurants Texture and Hibiscus). The interior design of the restaurant and its Sky Bar, produced by Tonik Associates, takes inspiration from the building's architecture, using traditional materials like brass, timber, bianco marble and leather.

College Street is a major street in the central business district of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. From north to south, it runs from east of Queens Square and St James station to start at the junction of the Prince Albert, St Marys, and Art Gallery roads and runs to Whitlam Square, at Liverpool Street. The superstores were open for business by the end of 2005. The first units of the MK1 Shopping Park, constructed later of the Asda and IKEA development, include a McDonald's and KFC on the Saxon Street side of the stadium, with a DW Sports Fitness centre on the Grafton Street side of the stadium. The club's ultimate plan involves a stadium with a capacity of 5,000 forming part of a complex incorporating a hotel, fitness centre, conference centre, all-weather pitch and ten 5-a-side pitches. Bentley Bridge Leisure Park is an extensive modern leisure/retail park located in the Wednesfield area of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. It has been developed since the late 1990s, to the south of Wednesfield town centre. The park is split into two halves − a leisure area and a shopping area. The site is bounded by the Wyrley and Essington Canal and New Cross Hospital to the North and West, the recently built Wolverhampton Swimming and Fitness Centre to the South and Wednesfield Town to the East, which is easily accessed via a village link, consisting of an open plan amphitheatre style square, landscaped lawns and the newly built Wednesfield library.

Located on 45 dunams of land property, Akatlar Arena contains six tennis courts, four synthetic pitches, a covered car park, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, Turkey's biggest bowling club, a shopping centre, and several restaurants, all on approximately . The Brodie Centre is the main building of the Bannatyne campus, which not only connects the various health education facilities but also the Neil John MacLean Health Sciences Library and the Joe Doupe Fitness Centre. The College of Pharmacy, originally located at Fort Garry, moved to the Bannatyne campus on October 16, 2008 with the opening of the Apotex Centre. The Faculty of Pharmacy Apotex Centre is detached from the rest of the Bannatyne complex, located right across from the main entrance of the Brodie Centre. The Dental Building is the westernmost building of the entire campus, housing the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry.

Opened in 2015, the Physical Activity and Wellness (PAW) Centre opened as a partnership between the Students' Union, Graduate Students Association, the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation, University of Alberta, the Government of Alberta and the Hanson and Wilson Family. The PAW Centre encourages healthy lifestyles choices by offering a variety of activities related to wellness. Components include a new student fitness centre, sports-related research and lab facilities, a variety of student service spaces as well as the new home of the Steadward Centre, a high-caliber research and program delivery centre for people with disabilities. Foote Field is a multi-sport facility named after its benefactor, Eldon Foote.

There are two arenas in the Pictou County Wellness Centre, one being the main arena called the Sobeys Arena, and the other, an auxiliary arena named, the Bell Aliant arena. The Pictou County YMCA calls the Pictou County Wellness Centre home as they are the owners of the pool, gymnasium and, fitness centre. In May 2013 it was announced that the John Brother MacDonald Stadium would be coming to a close to help with the opening year deficit from the Wellness Centre of $445,500 and put the usage of the arenas from 42% to 74%. Dan Twebaze, a Ugandan commercial real-estate developer, began developing the skyscraper in 2018, using his in-house Twed Construction Limited. On 22 March 2019, representatives of Hilton International signed a hotel management agreement with TWED Property Development Company, to manage the hotel, under the Hilton brand. In order to speed up construction, and in an attempt to meet the December 2020 planned commission date, ROKO Construction has taken over the construction as of March 2019. The complex will comprise several high-end meeting and conferencing facilities including a ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 guests, parking facilities for up to 518 vehicles, a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.

The academy underwent investment, development and expansion and became a full extended secondary school covering the age range 9–16 years on the 1st of September 2016. Major new building included classroom blocks, a new study centre, multimedia and drama studio, rooftop art rooms and art terraces, Design Technology workshops, Science Labs, new management offices and the Pendleton Sports Centre (named for Victoria Pendleton CBE who was a student at the school) - a community sports and fitness centre, along with a 3G AstroTurf pitch. The Phase 2 Expansion Build was completed and opened in September 2018. It included additional science labs, food technology rooms, classrooms and the Etonbury Juniors block for Year 5 and 6 students.

Campo Bahia is a sports and nature resort in the village of Santo André, famous for hosting the Germany national football team, who used it during their 2014 FIFA World Cup win. It is located on the southern tip of the state of Bahia in the North-East region of Brazil, about eight kilometers north of Santa Cruz Cabrália, and 30 kilometers north of Porto Seguro, on the Atlantic coast of Brazil. The resort covers 15,000 square meters, and includes 14 two- storey houses, 65 residential units, a fitness centre, training pitch, a restaurant, a pool area and easy access to the beach. A football youth academy and an orphanage will be built on the site as well.

National Swimming Academy Stirling was designated as Scotland's University for Sporting Excellence by the Scottish Government in 2008. Scholarships are available in five core sports: football, golf, swimming, tennis and triathlon, which allow student athletes to prepare for international competition. A Fernwood Fitness Centre gym was located in part of the space during the early 2000s; as of December 2009, Fernwood had relocated to the Renaissance Centre (primarily occupied by Toys "R" Us until its closure in early 2012, being renovated to what is now Kmart, which had opened late November of that year), leaving level 4 entirely empty and closed-off to the public. The HCA is a forty-year-old organization, whose primary purpose is to raise funds for the support, expansion and development of the school. It runs a number of annual fundraising events, including a summer Garden Party, a May Ball, second hand uniform sales, and Junior School discos and plays. In September 2016 two other organisations, Friends of Hymers Music (FOHMS) and Supporters of Hymers College Sport (SOHCS), merged with the HCA to form one fundraising organisation. The Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is a sports complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Owned by the City of Toronto government and the University of Toronto, it is located at the northern grounds of the University's Scarborough campus near the intersection of Highway 401 and Morningside Avenue in the suburb of Scarborough. Dapto High School began in 1958 at the Smith Street School in Wollongong, followed shortly thereafter at its current site with 189 students, separated into five 1st Year classes. Numbers increased up to 1536 students in 1973, and have been fairly constant at between 900 and 1000 students for a number of years. Figtree High School and Kanahooka High School have also been housed at the current site, whilst those school premises were constructed in 1969 and 1974 respectively. Numerous building ventures and renovations/upgrades occurred at the school, starting with the “Maths Block” (1961), hall (1962/63), “Art Block” (1971), grounds (1972 - 1974), Library (1975/76), agriculture sheds, tennis/basketball courts (1977), levee bank (1984), herringbone drainage to ovals (1992), Fitness Centre and paddle tennis courts (1994), main quad upgrade (1996), “Maths Block” fire (1999), lift (2004/05), and asbestos cleanup (2007).

The responses of government ministers were evasive. On 8 July 1953, Thomas F. O'Higgins, then member of parliament and future Chief Justice of Ireland, described the events leading to the closure of D.W.D. as "one of the greatest scandals that ever happened in this country".. The distillery's tall chimney was eventually removed, and other parts came to be used for various businesses, "such as engineering workshops and even a fitness centre during the 1990s", with a 2003 conversion turning some of the buildings into upmarket apartments, now known as Distillery Lofts. A 2012 Assessment of Special Interest Under the Planning & Development Act 2000 found the structure to be of architectural and historical significance, noting that "[t]he quality of the materials used in their construction and decorative detailing demonstrate that these buildings were cutting edge design for the specific requirements of distillery buildings", and that they remained "a significant reminder of the industrial landscape that once made up a significant element of the nineteenth century landscape adjacent to the Tolka River". , two bottles from the Jones Road Distillery are known to remain in existence.

The original master plan granted outline planning permission for a 250-bed hotel of five to six storeys in height. However, property development and investment company The Beetham Organization Ltd, which has in recent years built several high-profile hotels, offices and other buildings in prominent city-centre locations in Britain, bought Block J in November 2004 and submitted a revised planning application (BH2005/00136/FP) early in 2005. This sought approval for a mixed- use development comprising one 42-storey building with 146 residential units (C3-category) and a hotel with ancillary facilities including a restaurant, cafés, conference facilities and a health and fitness centre; one six-storey building with retail units (A1- and A3-category) and a further 25 residential units; and a pedestrianised public square. The application was rejected on 20 separate counts, including the negative visual impact on surrounding listed buildings such as the railway station and St Bartholomew's Church; the reduction in quality of surrounding public spaces; the lack of provision of outdoor recreation space; negative effect on the surrounding microclimate, and loss of sunlight to nearby buildings; and the failure to consider fully the impact on transport.

Before moving to the Pride Park Stadium, Derby County had played at the Baseball Ground since 1895. Although at its peak the ground had held over 40,000 (the record attendance being 41,826 for a match against Tottenham Hotspur in 1969) the Taylor Report, actioned after the 1989 Hillsborough Disaster had seen the legal requirement for English football stadia to become all-seater by 1994–95 season resulting in its capacity dwindling to just 17,500 by the mid-1990s, not enough for the then-ambitious second tier club. An additional problem came with the ground's wooden components (considered unacceptable in the wake of the Bradford City stadium fire in 1985) and, in February 1996, chairman Lionel Pickering made the decision to move the club to a new stadium, having originally planned to rebuild the Baseball Ground as a 26,000-seat stadium. The club originally planned to build a purpose-built 30,000-seat stadium at Pride Park, with 4,000 car parking spaces, restaurant and conference facilities, a fitness centre, a supporters club and new training ground. A year later the stadium plan was changed to become part of a £46 million project by the Stadivarios group that would also include a 10,000-seat indoor arena.

Excavations, a reconstructed fort and museum are open to the public on the historic Lawe Top site (Old English: hill top). The foreshore boasts a quality seaside experience, with the local landmarks of the Groyne lighthouse and mile-long South Pier to the north, and Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse to the south. There are award-winning sandy beaches at Littlehaven, Sandhaven and Marsden Bay; revitalised seafront promenades and scenic cliff top walks; the traditional thrills of Ocean Beach Pleasure Park and Dunes Adventure Island including fairground rides, an indoor bowling alley and amusement arcades; the North and South Marine parks with bandstand, boating lake, outdoor play areas and miniature steam railway; new state-of- the-art swimming pools, waterslides and fitness centre at Haven Point, a sailing club and Gypsies Green Stadium; the original Tyne Lifeboat, Jubilee Memorial and bronze statues of the Conversation Piece; a range of hotels, guest houses, chalets and caravan & camping sites; plus numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes, including the legendary local Minchella's ice cream and Colman's fish and chips. In summer there is a free festival, including a large street parade and entertainment from local and international stars at the outdoor amphitheatre and at Bents Park.

The club sold their ground at Queen Street, which had been their home since 1904, to property developers and moved out in 2008. A two-season groundshare with Worthing was terminated after one season. The club hoped to return to Horsham and build a new ground in Holbrook, North Horsham, but despite the club having bought the site, planning permission was refused at a council meeting held on 1 July 2008.West Sussex County Times The club withdrew their appeal against the decision on 15 April 2009, and turned their focus instead to building a new ground at the "Hop Oast" area to the south of Horsham. The initial proposal, which would have seen the installation of two 3G pitches and a two- storey clubhouse, returned a majority verdict of 13-9 in favour of rejecting the application at a council hearing on 20 Jan 2015, citing issues such as safety concerns and the perceived construction of a 'business in the countryside', despite the site already hosting a golf club and fitness centre. On 21 March 2017 the submission of a revised plan for a reduced capacity of 1,300 spectators and a single-storey clubhouse was overwhelmingly accepted by 19 votes to 1.
