In 1919, NEC started its first association with Sumitomo, engaging Sumitomo Densen Seizosho to manufacture cables. As part of the venture, NEC provided cable manufacturing equipment to Sumitomo Densen. Rights to Western Electrics duplex cable patents were also transferred to Sumitomo Densen. The Great Kantō earthquake struck Japan in 1923. 140,000 people were killed and 3.4 million were left homeless.

Baden's first marriage, which ended in 1997, was to Judianne Densen-Gerber, a physician and founder of the drug treatment program Odyssey House; together they had four children, Trissa, Judson, Lindsey, and Sarah. Baden later married Linda Kenney Baden, who served as one of Phil Spector's main attorneys during his capital murder trial and replaced Bruce Cutler after his withdrawal from the proceedings.

Clickburg was held in the Tilburg Hall of Fame The Clickburg Webcomic Awards were first awarded on May 1, 2005, at Clickburg, the world's first webcomic exhibition. The Clickburg foundation was set up by René van Densen, in collaboration with Jeroen Mirck, and Stephan Fellinger. The event was held at the Tilburg Hall of Fame and featured musical performances, workshops, and lectures. Around 43 webcartoonists were able to present their webcomics on large screens and through video projectors, and Clickburg featured a lecture by Evert Geradts.

The first was a prototype shown by Sony Computer Entertainment called Densen (Japanese for "power line") that had the player as a young girl traverse floating islands of various homes connected by power lines. The game, though never released, gave Takahashi the idea that the ordinary world could be made interesting with only small changes to perception, and that a game could be fun without the need to cause violence. The second idea was from the game of tamakorogashi played in Japanese school's undōkai or sports days. In tamakorogashi, students attempt to push a giant ball into a goal.

In 2005 Footnote established its 'Forte' season, where a New Zealand dance artists working internationally was brought back to New Zealand to create a new work for the company. Dancers and choreographers who have worked with Footnote include Michael Parmenter, Shona McCullagh, Malia Johnston, Raewyn Hill, Lisa Densen and Ross McCormack. The company regularly tours in New Zealand, and has performed in Shanghai, Berlin, Brussels, Antwerp and London. In 2015 the company marked its 30th anniversary with 30 Forward, a programme of works commissioned over the past ten years from the Forte seasons and a new work by Malia Johnston, Flip Pivot Boom.

Anzu Natsuno (Yuko Oshima), a student at an all-girl high school, is walking in the hallway when she hears a mysterious melody coming from the auditorium. There, she finds her classmate Kana (Atsuko Maeda) singing and Anzu's soon shocked when she sees Kana committing suicide after the song ends. A few days later, Anzu is approached by magazine columnist Riku Nagase (Ryuhei Matsuda), who explains that he's investigating an urban legend of Densen Uta, or the infectious song, that turns whomever sings the song suicidal. Riku convinces Anzu and her friends to sing the song to see if there's any truth to the urban legend.

According to the BYU police department report, Bishop said he did not assault Denson; he asked Denson to show him her breasts during an encounter with her in his private preparation room, which she did. Local county prosecutor's office said it likely would have filed charges against Bishop based on Denson's allegations, however, the statute of limitations for rape in Utah in the 1980s was four years. In April 2018, Densen filed suit against Bishop and the LDS Church in federal court in Salt Lake City for redress concerning her mental, physical, and economic hardships as caused by the alleged sexual assault and battery, negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraud, fraudulent nondisclosure and fraudulent concealment.
