DJ QBert explains his understanding of the interconnectedness of the human race and how his “destiny” is to better the lives of others through his music. Grand Mixer DXT describes how good he feels about being the role model of so many DJs. Mix Master Mike states that his goal is to show the world that there’s “something really cool out there, you know, something different.” The film ends with Z-Trip and Cut Chemist performing together side by side on four turntables.

DeForge further noted that episodes would expand upon the blueprint of the mall as the children explore and work together "to build something new and cool out of their situation." Writing for her website Comics & Cola, Zainab Akhtar found the premise disturbing to ponder, but likewise something that she would secretly wish to happen to herself. In addition to praising DeForge and Sands, she felt "actually gutted this didn't get made; it looks and sounds amazing", and hoped for it to continue in another incarnation.

The album also replaces the version of "Pressure Drop" that appeared on the original Black Market Clash with the b-side mix, and "Justice Tonight/Kick It Over" appears in a longer version than that which appeared on Black Market Clash. Super Black Market Clash does not fully compile the Clash's b-sides or even attempt to collect all their rarities. It does however contain important songs, such as three from The Cost of Living EP and several b-sides that were previously unavailable on CD including "The Cool Out" (a remix of "The Call Up") and "Long Time Jerk" (although in a shorter version than appeared as the b-side to "Rock the Casbah").
