A cooler is a sweet, often fruity and/or bubbly cocktail for use as a refreshing drink, especially for summer parties. Often a cooler will be light, crisp, and colorful, and have less alcohol than other cocktails. A cooler is distinct from a spritzer in that a spritzer tends to be a mix of wine and sparkling water or wine and club soda, and therefore dryer than a cooler. The Q.B. Cooler is a vintage tiki cocktail invented by Donn Beach that calls for a mixture of several rums (Puerto Rican dark rum, Jamaican rum, Demerara 151 proof rum), two syrups (fassionola, falernum), fruit juices (orange, lime), and honey, mixed with club soda and dashes of Pernod, bitters, and grenadine. Another version purported to be from 1937 is slightly different and calls for varying rum proportions and ginger syrup in place of the fassionola and Pernod.

The paloma (Spanish for "dove") is a tequila-based cocktail. This drink is most commonly prepared by mixing tequila, lime juice, and a grapefruit- flavored soda such as Fresca, Squirt, or Jarritos and served on the rocks with a lime wedge. Bartender Gene Sulit The Tequila Sunrise is an alcoholic cocktail whose ingredients include Hornitos Plata tequila, Crème de Cassis, fresh squeezed lime juice and Club Soda. It was invented in the late 1930s by bartender Gene Sulit. Sulit was attending customers in the hotel's "Wright" bar when one particular customer asked Sulit if he could come up with a new drink to be enjoyed at poolside. Sulit mixed the ingredients mentioned above and the drink became known as the Biltmore Tequila Sunrise.

The show was great, so there were no excuses to keep the door closed to foreign music Fanta Kone from Guadeloupe, Delphin Pandoue from Cote d' Ivoire, and Josiane Antourel from Martinique three female dancers approached Yaya Diallo to make some performances. After six months of hard work, Diallo combined the three professional dancers with his band Kanza to make a comeback show in the Club Soda. The show was phenomenal. Diallo had the challenge to open one more Closed door, the spectrum de Montreal.

Criollo formed in 2003, and included four members; Salvador "Sol" Valdez, Jose "Chiro" Mata, Alexis "El Gordo" Grullon and Gilbert "Giby" Capellan. Ameyal (from the Nahuatl word āmēyalli, meaning natural well or spring) is a brand of Mexican soft drink. It is also a brand of fruit sodas available only in Toluca, Cuernavaca, and Mexico D.F. Ameyal was formerly owned by Coordinación Industrial Mexicana (CIMSA), a Coca-Cola bottling company stationed in Toluca, Cuernavaca, and Mexico D.F. Berry provides evidence that the doctor was also a bartender in his own right and lists the drink as being a mixture of light Puerto Rican rum, lime juice, and pomegranate syrup stirred with a teaspoon of pernod and club soda. Trader Vic's attempt to "improve" the Dr. Funk was called Dr. Funk's Son. Stephen Crane called his version of the Dr. Funk the Dr. Fong at The Luau and his Kon-Tiki chain of restaurants.

Then One Day was formed in 1983 by guitarist André Allore, bassist Paul Gantous and drummer James Rennie. Vocalist Terry Armstrong was recruited to round complete the quartet. The band released the EP, Style Life, in 1986 which was recorded at Silent Sound Studios in Montreal and contributed to the Listen 2 compilation of Montreal music, on VOT records. They were one of the prominent pop bands on the Montreal music scene in the mid 1980s. In 1987 the band were preparing to tour with new material which didn’t evolve. Then One Day played their last show at Montreal’s Club Soda in 1987, with the unforeseen announcement of the band splitting up.

Jeff Berry has a version from circa 1937 that he also attributes to Donn Beach that calls for 1 1/2 oz 151 proof Demerara rum, 1/2 oz passion fruit syrup, 1/2 oz orange and lime juices, 1/2 oz of falernum, 1 dash of bitters and 6 drops of absinthe. The Tiki Ti has their own version as well. The Sidewinder's Fang was The Lanai restaurant's version of a Cobra's Fang cooler and called for 1 oz of Demerara rum, 1 oz dark Jamaican rum, 1 1/2 oz of passion fruit syrup, and 1 1/2 oz each of orange and lime juice along with 3 oz of club soda.

Butcher is now teetotal, preferring to drink Club Soda, and avoiding the unnecessarily self-destructive behavior of his youth (which had been fueled by alcohol). Since 2002, the circle of friends (COF) meets in the basement of Tolerance Zer0 (Nicholas Legault) in Vaudreuil-Dorion for freestyling and produces their own songs. The group became experimential in a new form of music called "Sproat Hop" and made its first performance in front of a live audience at the Sproat Hip Hop show in June 2002. They quickly made their place on the Sproat rap scene in Montreal and performed in local venues coveted by emerging groups such as Bourbon Street West, Manchester bar, Les Foufounes Électriques, the Alizé, Chez Maurice (featuring Muzion), Saints Showbar, Club Soda. Bullmoose's independently released 2004 album Lessons Learned was recorded at Studios Piccolo in Montreal, engineered and co-produced by Bullmoose and Ryan Patterson (The Exchanges/Kill The Lights) with Mathieu Roberge and mastered by Ryan Morey at SNB. The band toured throughout Canada in 2005 for the Night Danger Tour in support of the record. They have attended Canadian music festivals including Canadian Music Week, North By Northeast, Festival of the Islands, Ottawa Bluesfest, Maximum Blues, Trudeau Park, Feb Fest and Indie Week. Since 2004, Bullmoose has shared the stage with Canadian acts such as Wide Mouth Mason, The Trews, The Illuminati, Trooper, Junior Pantherz, Mobile, Rocketface, C'Mon, Whitey Houston, The Swallows, The Jimmy Swift Band, The Royal Mountain Band, The Exchanges, The Golden Dogs, Theory of a Deadman, The Stampeders, Ronnie Hawkins and Jim Cuddy playing such venues as the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, Club Soda in Montreal and The Brickyard in Vancouver.
