Yet there it was, behind a postwar ranch-style home on the border of the neighborhoods Glassell Park and Mount Washington: a one-room, 68-square-foot shelter shaded by a Brazilian pepper tree, clad in fir planks and plywood and perched on stilts halfway up the property's steep backyard slope, accessible only by traversing a rickety, bungee-cord-lined bridge.

Now in its 17th year, the Young Architects Program at MoMA PS1, an international competition to choose a designer to transform the museum's courtyard in Long Island City, Queens, each summer, has previously seen structures with the ability to purify water; ones made from corn stalks and living roots; ones consisting mostly of bungee cords and others with cardboard columns that could grow herbs and dispense juice.

Performed by the Swedish rapper Frej Larsson, "Mitt team (My Team)" is a more frantic club song with an aggressive bass line; lots and lots of people (including Mr. Ibrahimovic) saying, "My team," in Swedish, as an overlay to the beat; and a mesmerizing video that features reindeer, helicopters and a person bungee jumping with what is revealed to be a parachute that looks like the Swedish flag.

Developer Shiny Entertainment, headed up by David Perry, had hit it out of the park with their first swing—the company's debut game, designed explicitly as a franchise-launcher (and, as it proved, successful in that respect) sold bucketloads, charmed critics, and made the much-smaller me contort with glee as I launched cows, flexed entirely fake muscles, blasted cackling crows out of the sky and bungee-jumped beside gigantic booger monsters.

Next, he dons his headlamp (which underscores: serious business), grabs his Leatherman and spends the next 15 minutes or so outside in the dark fending off raccoons and annihilating the latest crop of Amazon Prime boxes; cramming the week's wine bottles and every last LaCroix can into the blue bin; dumping eggshells and avocado rinds and our kids' abandoned crusts into the green compost bin; and bungee-ing the filled-to-the-brim black garbage bin.
