The Air Lane Trio appeared in at least four "soundies" featuring burlesque girls. At least one of these films depicted the trio as female performers instead of the actual instrumentalists.

The most distinctive open-air lane is called "Shipi Lane" (). It got its name for the fact that it is flanked by two residential buildings. It was built in late Ming and early Qing dynasties (1368-1911), with length and width, and the narrowest point at the entrance is only wide. It was paved with 166 stone slabs.

The Air Lane Trio was a musical group active in the 1940s and 1950s. Popular over several years as a nightclub act, the group achieved minor chart success in 1947 with their recording of My Guitar Is My Sweetheart on the DeLuxe label. This recording's top chart position was #23. This song featured vocals by Ted Martin.

After a period of upkeep, Aulick got underway for Okinawa, anchored off Hagushi beach on 16 May, and joined the antiaircraft and radar picket screen around the transports. She was destined to remain there through the end of World War II. From 24 August to 2 September, the destroyer was assigned air-sea rescue duties on the direct air lane between Okinawa and Tokyo. On 28 September, she rescued twelve crewmen from a downed B-32 Dominator. After being relieved of her lifeguard duties, Aulick departed Okinawa on 10 September, bound for home.

At that time, the depression was tracking west-southwest under the influence of a subtropical ridge, which was located to the north. Over the next few days, the ridge weakened, allowing for a westward and later west-northwestward movement. The depression strengthened into Tropical Storm Lane by 12:00 UTC on August 15. Soon after, a period of rapid intensification commenced as Lane entered a favorable environment of warm sea surface temperatures, low wind shear, and moist air. Lane became a hurricane by 00:00 UTC on August 17 and reached its initial peak as a 140 mph (220 km/h) Category 4 major hurricane by 12:00 UTC on the next day.

Villebon-sur-Yvette is located in the Hurepoix area on the river Yvette, in the valley of the same name (also called Vallée de Chevreuse) on ground that is composed of milled stone, sand and clay. It covers an area of 743 ha between the Courtabœuf industrial park and the river, divided into sections of 426 ha of residential construction, 165 ha of forest and 152 ha of agricultural land, protected by the air lane of Orly Airport. Villebon-sur-Yvette is located approximately from Massy and Gif-sur-Yvette, from Longjumeau, from Montlhéry and to the south-west of Notre Dame de Paris. Adjacent communes are Palaiseau, Champlan, Saulx-les-Chartreux, Villejust, Les Ulis and Orsay.
