The traveling gnome theme later became the basis for Travelocity's "Where is my Gnome?" advertising campaign. The short fantasy story "The Garden Gnome Freedom Front" (2005) by Laura Frankos, published in The Enchanter Completed: A Tribute Anthology for L. Chauhan's acting career spans 37 years, and by his own count, he has worked in 600 television series and almost 150 movies during that period. His first break as an actor was in television series Paying Guest in 1983, and he went on to act in shows such as Rajni, Air Hostess and Adalat. The first acting part in a film that he did was in Main Chup Nahi Rahoongi in 1986. When Jeetendra was struggling between 1960–66 to establish himself as an actor, he was in a relationship with Shobha and she was his girlfriend until 1972. It was not until the release of Bidaai on 18 October 1974, that Jeetendra and Shobha decided to get married, which they did in a simple ceremony at Janki Kutir with only a few family members and friends present (Gulzar, Rajesh Khanna and Sanjeev Kumar amongst the noted celebrities).

Pitcairn was the highest scorer at both 900 and 1,000 yards but the pair only managed to secure eighth overall. During his career as a commercial airline pilot Pitcairn made headlines when, on 29 November 1974, he foiled a hijack attempt on the Boeing 737 he was piloting. Carrying 120 passengers on CP Air Flight 71, Pitcairn was flying from Montreal to Edmonton when a passenger held a knife to the throat of an air hostess and demanded to be taken to Cyprus. Having received training on how to approach hijack situations Pitcairn told the assailant that he would need to land the plane in Saskatoon in order to refuel for the journey.

Answering an advertisement for a couple to be butler and maid in a country house, he is hired under the name of Georges Baudin, with Suzanne posing as his daughter to be the maid. Their employers are Edmond Bernadac, a rich and staid businessman, and his flighty new Swiss wife Elisabeth, a former air hostess who is fond of alcohol and men. Their new butler rapidly becomes indispensable at smoothing over the continual problems which beset the household, one being that the son of the house immediately wants to marry Suzanne and has therefore to win the permission of her supposed father. Two residents of the housing camp who were among the first to arrive at the crash scene told the inquiry they could see two bodies in the wreckage of the cockpit – a male and a female, both wearing uniform, so they presumed the bodies were those of the pilot and air hostess. One described the female as having fairly long blonde hair. The superintendent of air navigation and safety in the western region of the Department of Civil Aviation said the bodies of the pilot and first officer were found in their correct seats in the cockpit. Particular attention was paid to the body found closest to the rear of the cabin, a few feet (a metre) forward of the hostess's seat.

From 19 to 22 September 2013, McFly commemorated their tenth anniversary by performing four concerts at the Royal Albert Hall. During these shows Matt Willis and James Bourne made a surprise brief reunion as Busted when they joined as special guests. (Willis and Bourne's ex-bandmate Charlie Simpson, whose decision to quit Busted led to the band's break-up in January 2005, chose not to take part.) Under the name "McBusted", the six-piece performed Busted's "Year 3000" and "Air Hostess" and McFly's "Shine a Light". This sparked rumours that Busted could make a comeback. On 11 November 2013, it was announced that Willis and Bourne would join Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd and go on an eleven-date arena tour as McBusted in 2014, and play both Busted and McFly songs.

Housed in an overcrowded barrack, with barely room to move, Parag meets with a variety of people - both convicted and awaiting trial - including Abdul Ghani (Rahul Singh) (a person waiting for bail after he accidentally killed a man troubling his wife), Kabir Malik (Arya Babbar) (a convict and henchman of Bababhai), Galib Suratwala, Nawab (Manoj Bajpayee) (a prisoner who now works in jail), Joe D'souza (a hit and run accused) (Ali Quli Mirza), Bababhai (a Don who stays in special room and conducts criminal activities by bribing police), etc. The jail mentally tortures Parag but he eventually learns to adjust there. Parag again appears in Court after a charge-sheet is filed, but again, due to the seriousness of the offenses, fear of tampering with evidence and witnesses, he is denied bail.

Reeta Devi, née Reeta Roy, was born on 11 October 1942, in a rich zamindari family in Assam to Dhirendra Roy Chaudhary, a tea broker and Kamala, a doctoral degree holder and reported to be the first woman lecturer of Botany at the Cotton College, Guwahati, Assam. After her graduation, she joined British Airways as an air hostess, against the will of her father, but later, moved to Air India, when she felt the British airline did not offer her opportunity to fly to farther regions. She got married in November 1964, to Manvendra Kishore Dev Burman (Bhim), who came from the royal family of Tripura and was the nephew of Gayatri Devi, the third Maharani of Jaipur. Devi, an avid horse racing fan and a regular at the Friday races at the Kolkata Race Course, who gave a part of her winnings to the Missionaries of Charity of Mother Teresa, led a busy social life.

Milton Raison was an American screenwriter for both film and television. He was also known as George Milton, George Wallace Sayre, and George Sayre. His first credit was Air Hostess in 1933, which he co-wrote with Keene Thompson. Over the next 20 years he would write the screenplay, story, or both on over 70 films. With the advent of television, he also worked on several TV shows during the 1950s. His credits during the 1930s include Strictly Dynamite (1934), The Shadow (1937), Torture Ship (1939), and The Man They Could Not Hang (1939). His 1940s credits include Tumbledown Ranch in Arizona (1941), Sheriff of Sage Valley (1942), Anna May Wong's last starring role in 1943's Lady From Chungking, The Contender (1944), Alaska (1944), Forever Yours (1945), the 1945 Charlie Chan film, The Shanghai Cobra, and Rocky (1948). In the 1950s he penned A Modern Marriage (1950), Southside 1-1000, Topeka (1953), The Homesteaders, and his final film credit, 1953's Old Overland Trail.

Two-hundred and ten singles charted in the top 10 in 2004, with two-hundred singles reaching their peak this year (including the re-entry "Mysterious Girl" which charted in previous years but reached a peak on its latest chart run). Sixty-five artists scored multiple entries in the top 10 in 2004. Pete Doherty had the most top 10 entries in 2004 with five. This included one solo hit ("For Lovers), one entry with Babyshambles ("Killamangiro"), and three entries with The Libertines ("Can't Stand Me Now, "What Became of the Likely Lads" and "Born in England" as part of Twisted X, supporting England ahead of UEFA Euro 2004). Thirteen artists recorded four or more top 10 singles across the course of 2004. Of these, seven artists totals included an appearance on the Band Aid 20 charity single, which reached number-one.
