Segun Awosanya (born 11 February 1976) is a Nigerian realtor and human rights activist. He was one of the early organisers of the campaign against police brutality in Nigeria on social media as #EndSARS which yielded results when the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government of Nigeria announced a total overhaul of the department of special anti robbery squad popularly known as SARS. Segun was drafted as a member of the presidential panel to overhaul the department, which is now known as FSARS. His contact was added to the list of appropriate channels to now report issues of police brutality in Nigeria.

Experimentation of actin filaments stained with GFP-mTalin have yielded results confirming that tip-localized actin filaments are highly dynamic. Such experimentation has made a connection between the dynamics of tip-localized actin filaments and their role in the formation of actin structures in the subapical region. Furthermore, experimentation of actin filaments located in the apical dome of Arabidopsis indicates that actin filaments are continuously produced from the apical membrane of the pollen tube; the production of these actin filaments are mediated by formins.

The opera was neglected until 2003 when it was given a performance in St Petersburg, thanks to the artistic director of the St Petersburg Chamber Opera, Yuri Alexandrov, who spent three years in search of the score for the opera, which, so it appeared, had been lost forever. The painstaking work yielded results: the score was restored fragment by fragment. The Russian premiere took place on 27 May 2003 at the St Petersburg Chamber Opera, with staging by Yuri Alexandrov and the Russian and Italian versions of the libretto by Yuri Dimitrin. In 2004, the opera was presented by the Festival della Valle d'Itria in Martina Franca.

Exposure to monochromatic light at the wavelengths of 460 nm and 550 nm on two control groups yielded results showing decreased sleepiness at 460 nm tested over two groups and a control group. In 1988, Peter Kalmus and John Dowell were jointly awarded the Rutherford Medal and Prize from the Institute of Physics for their outstanding roles in the discovery of the W and Z particles (Alan Astbury had already received this medal in 1984). UA1 was perhaps the most productive collaboration in the history of particle physics up to that date.
